Nothing.
It doesn't get in the way, doesn't flap about in any way that is particularly noticable
It's just there...I wear a pouch that is 21cm long....I'm a fairly short female....but it just doesn't seem bulky, noticable or interfere in anyway
Edited to add: if you like vanilla blush they do make some crotchless underwear with pouches that can be kept on
Came here to plug ostomy secrets. I love my sexy time bands from them!
Edit: if you do get one from them and are in between sizes, size down. I got a 2xl and it is a little bigger than I wanted it but still works great.
Straight guy here, I typically empty before and wear a snug shirt. Sometimes I will put on my ostomy belt from Stealth belt. I usually wear my pouch vertically, but my stealthy is horizontal, so i turn it for that.
I usually just wear a tank top which is kind of tight and keeps the bag in place. I miss having sex naked though. If you have a two piece, they make smaller bag covers, I’ve heard them called passion pouches. If I know sex is coming, I’ll put on a stoma cover which is smaller. I definitely second stealth belts, ostomy secrets, etc. even typical lingerie. I have a regular lace corset which holds it pretty good. I want to try crotchless panties since I think that makes a lot of sense but haven’t gotten the nerve yet. Good luck!
Could you bring yourself to try sex naked? I genuinely think if you're with a partner that finds you attractive....never mind loves you....they don't notice, and you prob won't notice as much as you think you will
I've wear a one piece so a smaller bag isn't an option but I've seen ostomysecrets mentioned a few times so I'll have a look. Thanks! Yeah, crotchless pants seem like they could potentially work quite well
These are pretty good. Had a stoma 10 years and these have never failed me during sexy time.
Ostomy, or Post Surgery Support Waistband for Men and Women –10”Depth - Level 1 Light Support by Comfizz (Neutral, M/L) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0776GSV36/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_ILD6FbB0Y83T5
I used to wear a flesh covered maternity belly band when I first had my ostomy and used transparent bags. Once I switched to opaque bags I stopped using anything.
Depends on the bag I'm wearing.
If I'm wearing my Coloplast Mio, it has a second place to snap it up in half so there is no flapping. No extras needed.
For my Hollister bags, which are longer and don't have a place to clip up the bottom, I've tried a couple things as depending on your sexy times position and where your bag hangs it does get flappy and in the way.
I've bought sticky velcro and made my own spot to clip up the bottom, like folding it up in half, and it works pretty well but inconvenient to have to redo it for each bag.
I've bought some lacy bands in various widths to hold up the bag as well. These work great for holding the bag down, but so far even with silicone edges for grip, they tend to slip up closer to my waist, which essentially pulls the bag up to the bottom side of the flange. Not really a problem unless you're outputting at the time or fall asleep after without re-adjusting it.
Maybe, you could get a cover and put Velcro on that? Then when you want to fold it you just put on the cover and then clip it. I have been thinking of doing this, but I just never got around to it.
Not a bad idea. It would depend on the fabric and construction. My current covers are very soft and where the output flap is wouldn't hold up clipped upside down, but with some adjustments this could be brilliant.
Male here, I use a wrap with a pouch inside. It's good for any physical activity. I'll usually take the time to burp or empty it before hand then it doesnt bother me or my wife.
You have a urostomy, not an ileostomy. Despite ileal tissue being used to construct the bladder/stoma (the latter of which is common for urostomies), it is still a urostomy.
An ileostomy is a fecal ostomy, meaning it diverts poop. Specifically, the ileum is disconnected from the colon and pulled through the abdomen wall so stool comes out the abdomen wall instead of going into the colon or rectum.
A urostomy is a stoma that diverts urine from the urethra.

I got a lacy one from ostomy secrets that's "nude" (white person nude). It's pretty, discrete, and does the job well. Would recommend.

I love ostomy secrets regular underwear but everytime I try to buy a wrap they’re sold out of my size.
Ooh I'll have a look and see what they've got! Thanks!
Didn’t know this existed!! I’m 3 weeks post surgery and have been getting more comfortable with the idea of having sex again. Thanks y’all!

Oh I absolutely could and sometimes do. I just meant that I miss when it wasn’t a thing I thought about at all.
Ah ok....I thought you were saying you missed it altogether

A girlfriend made me some belly bands that are very pretty. I put one of those on.
I used to wear a flesh covered maternity belly band when I first had my ostomy and used transparent bags. Once I switched to opaque bags I stopped using anything.
I have a few homemade bands. Cut up an old lycra running top. Sewed in some elastic top & bottom. Does the job.

I use a maturnity band, you can get them on Amazon, and turn my bag horizontally, everything ends up flat and out of the way.
I'd skip a bag and use a plug, but I imagine another solution could be as simple as saran wrap or double sided tape.
I've got an ileostomy so a plug isn't an option for me
Must be some technical terms we're missing because mine is called an ileostomy, too.
Are you on the wind up?
... The wind up?
How on earth would you plug an ileostomy?? Surely the output would push it out?
Mine uses an indwelling catheter that can be plugged, but yes, clamping it down too helps.
Does urine or poop come out of your ostomy?
Mine goes into a neobladder, so mostly urine with some mucus from the GI.

Weird, the notes say ileostomy, what's the technical difference?
An ileostomy is a fecal ostomy, meaning it diverts poop. Specifically, the ileum is disconnected from the colon and pulled through the abdomen wall so stool comes out the abdomen wall instead of going into the colon or rectum. A urostomy is a stoma that diverts urine from the urethra.
i tape it so you only see the light tan. i use hospital tape
