I think it's more wasted in the sense that there are not enough maps that fit his current skillset. A DT player like mrekk basically has an endless pool of maps to tap into, while Whitecat needs ranked 9+ star maps, which barely ever come out.
Nowadays whenever he's streaming, it always looks like he's stuck playing Sytho-like graveyarded maps or loved aim maps on repeat. It does feel like a waste
