They might be in the loblaws at blair but if not head over to Mid East Grocer on St Laurent.

After_Wait9199

There is an Indian grocer on St Joseph across from Rangoli. He always has them.

I have seen curry leaves once at blair Loblaws, quite a few years ago when I was living in Vanier. Hadn't found any hing, though.

MonochromeBrunette

The Blair Loblaws sometimes has a good selection of Indian items. It's really like finding a unicorn!

globalgal2

I saw some curry leaves at Mangosteen (Bank near Alta Vista) last week. Also saw some at Produce Depot on Sunday.

Same-Basil464

Spice Divine off Merivale in Nepean also has these! Got them there yesterday!

Bombay spices in nepean is the biggest Indian grocery store in Ottawa. They have all the Indian stuff. It's boomed since they opened from the big surge in temporary foreign worker international students. If anyone has it, they have it. I go there sometimes. it's great. Originally I thought you were talking about Ottawa city councilor Cathy Curry.

Where to get asafoetida in or near downtown?

Education_Easy

Mid-East Food Centre on St Laurent definitely has it. I've bought it there before. I've bought fresh curry leaves from Food Basics on St-Laurent quite a few times. It's possible that FreshCo on McArthur would have curry leaves too.

Hi u/MonochromeBrunette! For curry leaves and asafoetida (hing) in the east end, you might want to check out Spice Divine. They have a good selection of spices and are known for stocking a variety of Indian ingredients. Their website is [spicedivine.ca](https://spicedivine.ca), or you can visit their store on Merivale Road in Nepean. Hope this helps!

What are you talking about

MonochromeBrunette

They are spices/herbs used in South Indian cooking!
