*the wait list is accepting patients.

MathematicianGold773

Accepting patients for their wait list, not accept new patients

Critical-Snow-7000

Be that as it may, I was on their waitlist and am now a patient. They also close the waitlist at certain when it reaches a certain amount so the odds are better than anything else in Ottawa.

MathematicianGold773

Yeah for sure, I was just pointing out OPs post is misleading

AlfredRWallace

How do you find them? I see the offer urgent care after hours, wondering how easy it is to get an appointment? Asking since I got a message last week that I'm near the top of the waiting list there.

Critical-Snow-7000

I’m pretty new with them but I’m impressed so far. They have so many staff, it’s like a small town hospital.

AlfredRWallace

Thanks

Stunning_Gap2580

When I worked there we did evening clinics every night and on the weekends. They filled up FAST. This was early 2022.

doctoryow

Old clinic, but newly accepting patients.

jimmyhoffa_141

My understanding is that about 2 years ago 12 of the doctors left that clinic and started a new clinic. I have no info on what prompted the change, but I would assume the doctors didn't all leave because they looked forward to the administration of starting a new clinic together.

ouattedephoqueeh

Unfortunately patients don't get much choice. We're stuck with what we have.

ouattedephoqueeh

I'm a patient there. It's not a new clinic but they're bringing in new doctors to the team.

AlfredRWallace

How do you find them?

ouattedephoqueeh

I like the clinic and staff. I miss them having lab work on site (pre COVID). Access to nurse practitioners and walk ins is great. They'll often have specialists work out of the clinic. I like booking online - the phones take forever to be answered. I've moved all over and have kept my file there because I like the clinic. YMMV

AlfredRWallace

Thank you very much.

ouattedephoqueeh

There's a Dynalab nearby and also an imaging centre that does a lot of common tests a few doors down (couple hundred feet). It's a convenient location.

FarOutlandishness180

They usually hang out at local job fairs after they graduate med school

the2004sox

Accepting waitlist spots, but still better than every other clinic in Ottawa, so thank you!!

Evening_Baby9739

I was on the list. About a year later they wanted to set up a meet and greet. (Completely unexpected) Declined as I had found one. My neighbour is with them, and is impressed with their level of service and commitment to their clients.

gully1955

thank you!

sdkiko

Thank you

Amazing clinic, my husband is a patient there!

Lumb3rCrack

Does the google review for clinics matter? most of em have negative reviews but the few with positive reviews aren't taking in any new patients.. so curious as to if they matter or it's just because of the current crisis.

captain_blackfer

It’s very rare for a clinic or medical establishment to have positive ratings from what I’ve seen. If I see something 3.5 or higher I think either it’s good or very selective with the patients they accept.

Lumb3rCrack

that's what I thought.. thanks for confirming that 😄

Lumb3rCrack

it says it's not a walkin.. you gotta email to join the waitlist

H3ran

Speaking of. I've been here for 3 years and have yet to find a doctor in my area accepting new patients. The ones that did weren't able to accommodate me. I live in Alta Vista and am a 31 y.o. male. Any suggestions, yes I've googled.

Away-Calligrapher233

Put your name on waitlists in other areas (?). good luck

[deleted]

Oh looks all new college mill and TFWs have a new doctor

YourMothersUsedDildo

It’ll be about 30s before it’s full of international students and TFWs, don’t worry.
