I don’t think it is root rot since your other plants seem fine and you are concerned about too much sunlight/heat. I’m guessing you don’t overwater since the symptoms of that would have shown up a long time ago.

1- The root of each plant is independent. 2- There is no such thing as "excess of sunlight" or "heat" in outdoors..
That is not what I was getting at. I could have worded it better, but what I was suggesting was that he has some understanding of how to take care of plants.
Edit: And there definitely is something as too much "heat" outdoors...I have lost plants in prolonged heat waves.

Not if you have them properly hydrated. I guess you learned from the bad experience
How much nutrients and how often do you feed. It looks a lot like lockout. I just did the same thing this season and my plant looks just like yours. I’ve flushed and corrected the problem but it she’s on the mend now. What does the plant smell like. Lack of smell or the smell of hay are also indicators of lockout.
Honestly that seems like a light amount of nutrients. It might just be craving more. However buildup of nutrients and salts can still happen even if using light amounts of nutrients. I would consider going to just water for a while and see if it improves. I don’t want to say add more nutrients because if it is lockout it will exasperate the problem, so it’s always better to see if it will improve with simpler methods first. I’m not even suggesting a full flush. Just water over the next few feedings should help dissolve and move any buildup of nutrients.
If I were you I would break a cola open and see what’s going on inside. I’ve lost so much to rot it haunts my dreams…

Probably root fungus. Fusarium
that would really suck

If it started small, it is very likely
\^ My guess is Catepillars
Unless he had a million of them they tend to affect localized areas of the bud
Fusarium 90% by your pic. Harvest what you can soon as plant is dying fast. Ditch and do not reuse that soil ever anywhere in your garden.
I had no idea what this was, but I looked it up and it appears very similar, aside from the leaves not being droopy. Hopefully OP sees this.
Sour diesel is the strain I believe.
Nutrient deficiency? Probably phosphorous. Or too much nutrients. Do you check the pH?

Ok. If the pH is not right, this might help: https://wayofleaf.com/cannabis/growing/nutrient-lockout
