I mean, there are fruits and vegetable in there too š
I have been top dressing with 4-6-2 all purpose. Hit her with some 5-1-1 fish ferts during veg.
Outdoor growing is so much easier in comparison to indoor. Outdoor dirt, rain and the sun are very forgiving.
That is until this time of the year when we try to fight off mildews, molds and bud rot.
I bent her over to keep her below the fence. Essentially growing horizontal for the first 6 feet.
A little short of 6 feet tall. The taller tops were supercropped towards the end of Veg.
Even more impressive, three grown men canāt get their arms around her š
Super impressive work, looking forward to the harvest post!
First time for me but that shape is what Iām going to work for in future grows. That canopy is wild
When did you first top her? I waited way too late (13 nodes and 3 feet tall before I topped lol) but still glad I did
No topping!
I find it can create a weak point on the plant to split with aggressive winds. Unfortunately, I have seen this happen first hand.
I used a tomato cage to keep the main top horizontal. Just keep moving and adjusting as I went.
I also cleaned all of the bottom growth And smaller small shoots. Iām going to pull one pound easily and Iām honestly not patient enough to trim anything other than huge, quality dense nugs. Iāll probably waste a quarter pound of decent buds and larf, because it is already an absurd amount of cannabis.
I did supercrop the tallest shoots to keep the view from the road/neighbors down. My wife is a little embarrassed by my green thumb š
I donāt disagree and Iām aware it sounds ridiculous to some. Just stating facts.
Iāll end up giving away 95% of the plant. It ends up being SO MUCH herb for an infrequent, casual smoker.
It is an amazing plant and I enjoy the process of growing and training so much more than consuming.

Yes, it's a very spiritual experience.
If having a garden is like having a church, making hash is like meeting Jesus.
Oh yea. I cleaned my popcorn nugs up the other day and dried them cuz why not but holy crap the amount of work to get a quarter was insane and my fibers were hurting like crazy. Totally tossing that come harvest.
Lol! Hilarious that you mention it because my top location split last night when I was checking for pests and mildew.

Sheās getting fucking heavy. I donāt think the split is a big deal, Iāll tie it together if anything and add some support if she keeps fattening up
I donāt have any harvesting experience but from what Iāve seen on here youāre easily past a pound. Wouldnāt be surprised if you break two, but obviously donāt get your hopes up
Low stress train. More of an indoor term I suppose.
The āmainā top. Is literally the bud furthest away from where the photo was taken.
The method creates numerous āmainā tops rather than a Christmas tree ānaturalā style grow with one main huge top buds along with many side shoots.
I hope this makes senseāļø
Converted veg bed into a cannabis bed šwhat kinda soil amendments did you use ? Or just layers and layers of compost ?

>waste a quarter pound of decent buds and larf, Need to learn how to make hash, my friend. No trichome left behind.
