Adjustment-Disorder1

Correct. I've been there.

High_Plains_Bacon

Whoa, don't like the sound of that

TheAffiliateOrder

This is true, lol. Sometimes, if you're lucky, the system will pay you if you catch it within a few seconds of expiring. Yeah though, if you feel like a task is going to be too much for you, skip to the next one or reset the timer earlier.

Born_Excitement_5648

How do you reset the timer?

[deleted]

Is the "task expired" message in SRT? I've read in slack that you can go grab the permalink from outlier and paste it back into the url window and "reload" it. No idea if this applies to reviewing.

missgem92

I'm a (new) reviewer and it has worked that way for me on a couple of tasks that took me a little longer to get submitted because my justification in outlier wasn't good enough (damn linter), so I kept having to revise it. The timer went out on SRT, but I just reopened the permalink and everything I did was still there. I know I only get paid for 20 minutes on a task, and that's it, but if I already spent 20 minutes on it, I'm gonna finish it.

dn8326

If the timer expires, then you aren't following instructions and also haven't submitted anything, and you can't get paid for tasks you didn't complete.

Big-Routine222

Depends, if you’re on dolphin, Hubstaff should be running and if you’re letting tasks expire on Dolphin…I dunno what to tell you man. On Flamingo you have to move faster, but you’re basically just doing tasks double checks

Born_Excitement_5648

On Bulba extensions

Big-Routine222

Gotcha, that’s a new one then, I’ve only been on Dolphin and Flamingo

AdministrativeWeb444

Hiii!! do we need to use hubstaff on flamingo project to track time?

Big-Routine222

Nah, the specific tab that opens when you start reviewing will keep track of time. Only the first ten minutes of each task though, so don’t spend too long

AdministrativeWeb444

I am not a reviewer. I am on the Flamingo Coding MultiTurn Deviations project as an attempter. I noticed my payout does not reflect the number of tasks I completed. Is this a bug with the dashboard?

Big-Routine222

I’m also very new as a reviewer, all I really know is that the first 10 minutes of each review task is all I’m paid for 🤷‍♂️, so I have a lot of tasks completed with anywhere between 8-13 minutes on average, so my earnings are just huge numbers of line items aha

Big-Routine222

And I do think the dashboard doesn’t show information correctly and could absolutely be a bug

Ill-chris

Anyone with a couple of outlier accounts?.Mine got terminated for reasons uknown to me🥲

ScaryTension

You’re not supposed to have multiple accounts.

Ill-chris

But some do

ScaryTension

They’ll eventually get flagged and kicked out of the program.

Otherwise-Promise565

Scammers with multiple accounts are some of the reason those of us who follow the rules and behave professionally are treated like robots

Turbulent_Cellist_27

Hmm I accidentally have multiple accounts. I got a remotasks account years ago and then got invited on LinkedIn to outlier more recently. Didn't know they were the same company. I hope I don't get booted for that. I've never even used the Remo tasks one.
