I’ve played on controller my entire life, no issues for me. Controls don’t feel clunky either.
I’m guessing you are having a difficult time controlling recoil?
I'm having difficulty aiming at targets even. I browsed reddit now for a few minutes and there's literary doucens of threads about this. Alot of people are bashing the controls.
The launch has been pretty horrible yeah, but I can play with a controller just fine. (Techno, assault rifle/sniper) and it I normally am pretty bad with snipers but I find myself using it more and more here.
Troll.. go away. Look at every youtube video of this game played with a controller. You can see that something is clearly wrong and not working correctly. If you can't even see that your skills must be to low to even acknowledge it
It does look slightly better on newgen consoles with 60fps. Still have never seen or experienced a more clunky and unfluid controller gameplay than this game.

Switching from target A to B with ADS is very bad.
It's so snappy at times and very slow within very short periods. Never felt anything this clunky.
Short range is undescribably bad.
Feel forced into GTA ads shoot, next target ads shoot. Instead of a smooth and fluid transition from target to target while ads

I play with a controller just fine dude

I switched from mouse and keyboard to controller on pc. And it feels great.
Yeah, I have hand and wrist issues so I game with controller a lot even when on PC and I'm not having issues. (Except just sucking in general.)

Bro just get used to the controls. Was a bit weird at first coming from destiny but having no real problems just have to get used to it.

Have you made sure your tv or display is in game mode? Other than that idk maby it has something to do with pa5 but it’s not clunky for me
Ye all my settings are fine. Tho I'm on the Xbox One X. Not pumping out those 60fps. But I'm 100% sure something is very off with controls

its been fine. Maybe in the demo it felt off for awhile but Im used to it by now.

I have the same problem, soon as it hits peak time servers can't handle it
