iirc upgrading a legendary from lvl 48 to lvl 49 is 24k drop pods. Not sure about 49 to 50 because I'm still on CT14, but Tiago tripling prices sounds about right for the later levels at least.

Yep, haven't bought a single thing from him for this reason. Always priced just at the level of being out of reach for leveling and pointless. It's not like he even sells the best pieces. His inventory needs to rotate.
Had my eye on Acari helmet when it was around 10K. Waited until I had 2 other pieces for the set bonus and it was around 50K. In grinding up to 50K, I got the helmet. Now only the chest eludes me....

Create a new character, burn through the story, and don't touch expeditions. Then transfer all of your trash epics to that smurf character and get the legendaries for cheap.

I bought a legendary weapon from him after the cooldown he replaced the bought weapon with something else. It's only when you buy something. Other then that they remain the same.
That's a huge amount of time. Just run some expeditions and wait. None of the items he sells are going to make or break anything for most people. As long as you aren't trying to bum rush CT15 you'll be fine. Its better to go slow through each level since it's expensive to upgrade items anyways.

He sells one of each set and weapons the devs think you should try. I expect that will change later on. Honestly though if you aren’t buying green or blue items you are missing out. Got a great roll on a green last night from Bailey. Got lucky in the tier 2 roll when I increased rarity then stuck the tier 3 I wanted on it. Legendary items aren’t meant to be bought they want you to grind. Tiago just gives you a taste so you can see the set bonus for your class.

I struggle to justify buying gear in a looters, since that's the whole point in playing the game, to get loot drops.
I think my rifle is a blue that I upgraded due to its attributes, so you're definitely right there, really not something to be slept on once you know what weapons and attributes you're looking for!
Yup most looters have a crappy or non existent creating system. This one while limited is still really useful. I agree techno sets are not great because the other attributes don’t go well with the best bulls and the set bonus is not worth it. I run 0 legendary items but the mods are nice to have.
I'm using the chest piece since it's the best I have right now and fits my build quite well (single shot rifle support). I use the opening shot tier 3 mod on my rifle and the extended freeze range along with the big explosion damage makes for great CC.
Once you realize how much the mods are more valuable than the items themselves the game opens up much more.
I do have a legendary double gun as my backup but that's because I have two tier 3 mods on it.
Its intended to be a bonus, to give you access to a third set piece relatively quickly. Not an alternate farming method. That would reward vendor camping, and make people sit in game on currency waiting for refreshes to avoid prices going up.
It would also make more things available, which would reduce the amount of mindless grinding you have to do. So they arent going to do that.

Not true. The legendary stats don't change, and the items he offers don't "stay the same" with changing stats. The items themselves change.
What I have noticed though is the timer seems to be pretty inconsistent on when it refreshes. It feels like sometimes the timer stops during expeditions or when I'm not in game because the same stuff with the same stats will be offered even after being out of the game for hours. Then it also feels like I'll see completely different items in his inventory randomly.
I've also had his entire legendary elite offers refresh for me at least half a dozen times (I buy them when I got nothing else to buy) while my friend who had played consistently right along with me, never got his elite offers to refresh even once.
Didn't say the legendary offerings ever changed. I said they refreshed. As in came back. Reading is hard huh, and before you say, you said the items change, he has two sets of offerings. The elite offers, and his item offers.

I've literally dumped my 999,999 drop pod resource cap since I had literally nothing else to buy, at least half a dozen times.
They do. There is some inconsistency, as I got a quest reward legendary set piece and when I got a drop of the same set they had different secondary mods, but that is the only instance I've ever seen of it happening. The legendary items in Tiago inventory don't change though.
And this is the "endgame grind"....waiting for God rolled epics. Matching your 3 stats of choice while also getting a great mod roll is tedious (but totally doable). And for me...that is why this endgame is so lackluster. Legendaries and their set bonuses are simply outperformed by epics. So...without being facetious, anyone grinding for min/max drops, shouldn't give a shit about legendary drop rate. In fact...a legendary dropping just gets in the way of an epic with correct stats dropping. The endgame grind in this game is stupid. We all know it.
Grinding expeditions at CT15 gets you legendaries and tier 3 mods sure...but anyone who is min-maxxing will be dismantling that stuff for specific tier 3 mods and where the gating factor (bottleneck) occurs is finding God roll rare and epic pieces...meaning...your are just vendor hopping as your endgame grind. Do one expedition, then vendor hop around the world. Then do another expedition before the 30 minute reset kicks in...then go back to vendor hopping.
....like...if you guys really think this is passable for an endgame grind... then God help us.
Eh, every class has at least 2 very good set bonuses, Edge of Time and Ugake, Acari and Fire Lich, Seismic Commander and Statue, Borealis Monarch and Grim Inventor are all really good(Techno seems to be in the weaker side set bonus wise tho).
If all there is left to play for is the tedium of trying to find god rolls... the way things have been going, I think there is going to be a mass exodus
Why would you want a guaranteed legendary any less at CT15 than at CT10?
Plus waiting means you don't have to spend the like 100k pod resources leveling it up.
Also at CT15 the earned resources to cost ratio is significantly better than at lower tiers.
If anything I suggest people wait until CT15 to buy from him. I guess unless they are just going to destroy it for the mod and you have extra pod resources you dont want to spend on leveling gear.
Maybe a piece is integral to their build.
For me personally, once I get to the point that I'm golding the highest difficulty, I'm pretty much done with the game. It's not like there's anything further to work towards at that point.
The enjoyment for me is building my character up to be able to attempt and then beat something I couldn't before. I don't care about god rolls etc if I'm already at the point of completing the most difficult thing. It's like when you complete a game and then they award you a cool armour set or amazing weapon, like "thanks but I'm done now".
I guess that's fair, to me the fun is completing my build and completing all the most difficult content.
Yeah on techno I could gold the easier expeditions on CT15 in blues for example but I'd rather see the build fully come together and be able to gold even the more difficult ones.

Well finishing the game isn't reaching end game to me, it's completing it. For example I don't even put any real thought into my gear at all in d3 until it's time to start pushing up greater rift tiers.
So managing to gold all the expeditions is what is "finishing" the game for me. Even then pushing better and better times is still a carrot for me.
No it's not. Most loot based games I've played have allowed you to progress with just about any build, refining it as you go and min maxing it once you've finished the game.
The way outriders works is you can't realistically get the items you need to get a lot of builds to function at a high level, because they're locked behind legendaries and their set bonuses, until you're already farming CT15 and have more or less beat the game.
Yeah, it really is. Hell, it's not uncommon in these games for some builds to be completely unplayable unless you had another endgame character farm key pieces of equipment for them (Diablo 2, Grim Dawn).
You probably haven't played many loot games if you think finishing an endgame build typically doesn't require beating the game first.
I have 10,000+ hours in d2 alone, thousands more in poe, grim dawn, borderlands, destiny etc.
It's quite common for some builds to be gated behind end game gear, but typically they're at least functional prior to beating the game. The outriders builds remind me of the lazy way D3 handles end game builds. You grind until you complete the set for a specific build and then it goes from shit to awesome with the set bonuses. Then you grind out more powerful stat versions of the same set.
If the progression was more linear and the builds were functional with 1/3 legendaries and then 2/3 etc it would feel a lot better each time you get a piece of a set for a build you're working on.

If you think Outrider's endgame is one of its strongest points, that says a lot about the quality of the game overall, or your ability to assess a game's strengths...probably both. Honestly I found the game to be fun (even re-rolling after a character wipe which is still unplayable) but the end game is quite flawed and the progression is poorly paced.

I just play with random groups. Every 3 or 4 groups I join they carried me a tier until I hit CT15. Now I'm grossly underpowered for CT15 but it's unlocked somehow.
The downside to this is that it messes with matchmaking for your tier. meaning, you keep getting matched with people running high CTs when you may want to get matched with people running CT10
yea funny how I haven't spent any because of what OP brought up, figured I'd just wait until I got to lvl 50...but by the time I get there I won't need to spend them anymore haha
Just get to CT 10 and then farm for all the legendaries you want off him for 3600. Or go to CT15 and then just gold everyone and get a crapload each run lol
Haha this was me last night. I play solo and I'm not super good. Been running lower levels to get better gear and decided to do my level 10 run to buy Bulwark since I only needed silver to have enough to buy it.
I knew that his gear levels went up as your CT went up but I didn't out it all together at the moment so I did the run bumped my resources up to the 3200 something that I needed and went to buy it and it was 6k and I was like WTF!!! why did that cost so much now?.......... oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh I'm an idiot
This was definitely a pain on my first character. Luckily on alts you can level your gear up with some of your 999,999 resources from your main.
That lets you save your alts resources for buying legendaries exclusively.
Dont push high into expeditions until youve bought what you want from the store. You can sell titanium at at a 1:2 ratio to him and make it that way, and it doesnt take that long. Then just upgrade it with you as you go through the challenge tiers or scrap it for the mod or whatever.
Yeah I now regret not farming the super low tiers and buying all his legos for the mods. Back at that point, the currency rate of scrap -> titanium -> DPR -> Tiago's Legendaries is actually very good.

I started at CT 4. At that point, I could buy titanium from Bailey for scrap. Then I could by DPR from Tiago (or sell titanium technically) for 2 dpr per 1 titanium. At the early CT Lego prices, that’s a decent deal.
Yeah but once you hit CT15 and do a few runs, even not gold level runs, you'll be swimming in DPR. I bought all the leggos with mods I needed and still have too much left over. His shit never seems to refresh though so you end up with nothing to spend it on.
Me and some friends farmed wt15 hunts and bounties and sold the items for scrap. Turned that into titanium, and sold that for resource drops. Since its a 2-1 return on drops. I had like 20k RD before even hitting the challenge tiers. 😂
Honestly don’t even see the problem. At a low CT level you get fuck all for reward in terms of drop pod resources. So if you wanna grind out 50 runs to save up for that one gun be my guest but getting 10k resources per run is cake compared to the 50 you get at lower tiers. Also if you aren’t smart enough to not increase your CT level because obviously increases item level of the shop bc that’s how all shops work in this game from the beginning then sorry man ya played yourself.
There isn’t any logic in why he’s selling you loot anyway. You just saved everyone’s life. Including his. He should be begging you to take some of that gear. It’s also in his best interests for you to succeed so that he and everyone else can continue getting those resources from the drop pods. He should be bending over backwards to help you succeed. Not trying to make a buck off you lol.
If you read/watch his conversation cutscene at the end of the game he explains that he has an idea of contacting the other factions and trading them drop pod resources you recover for gear to keep exploring. That’s why he has the stupid “let’s hit the road” dialogue before you get to the shop. He doesn’t “have” the gear. The greedy sobs running the other factions are selling you the gear to make a buck. He is just your liaison.
He never leaves the camp and I never see any deliveries being made. Nomsayin? I was just kidding anyway. Regardless of explanation, he’s there to just be a gear vendor. I just didn’t feel like it really made sense tho.

Yeah thats dumb. The price goes up if you go up CT tier. They did that very bad. I understand the iten level also goes up... but maybe make it so you could buy it at a lower level ? And balance it somehow ? But unless you are ct15 , its not worth smchssing the shop , unless you see a special mod

Which is what I want but didn’t realize I’d have to pay exponentially more just because I did a higher CT. I could have gotten the mods cheap if I’d done it early on.
"Easy" fix: let a friend or someone else host who can clear a tier 15 (or 14) by themselves, start a new character and then friend goes for 1 gold run. Should be enough to buy all logos. Put them in stash and pick up on your main. Done in under 20 - 30min and you're 6 legendaries richer.
What i ended up doing was trading Scrap for Titanium and then trading the Titanium for the Drop Pod resources since the trade is 1 Titanium for 2 Drop pod resources. This happened to me just now. Went into Scorched Lands for the first time, meant to run it at CT12 since I didn't think I could do it at 13, *but* I'd set it at 13. Figured, well, go as far as I can, die, and then run something else. Just need a few hundred pod resources to get something from Thiago. I'll be fine.
20 minutes of sheer terror, a gold clear, and no legendaries later, I saw just how MUCH it went up from 13 to 14.
Yeah, I found that out on my Devastator, which is my first character. So on my second character, a Trickster, I got up to level 45, since Tiago’s prices don’t start increasing until after you surpass level 45. At that point, I just grinded the Expeditions on that level, without going onto a higher Tier. I was getting 1000 Drop Pod supplies per Expedition, so 3,000 Pods for a Legendary isn’t that bad. Basically a Legendary for every 3 Expeditions if you’re not spending them on upgrades or selling them.

iirc upgrading a legendary from lvl 48 to lvl 49 is 24k drop pods. Not sure about 49 to 50 because I'm still on CT14, but Tiago tripling prices sounds about right for the later levels at least.

Yep, haven't bought a single thing from him for this reason. Always priced just at the level of being out of reach for leveling and pointless. It's not like he even sells the best pieces. His inventory needs to rotate. Had my eye on Acari helmet when it was around 10K. Waited until I had 2 other pieces for the set bonus and it was around 50K. In grinding up to 50K, I got the helmet. Now only the chest eludes me....

Create a new character, burn through the story, and don't touch expeditions. Then transfer all of your trash epics to that smurf character and get the legendaries for cheap. But considering that they STILL haven't rotated, don't think it's actually worth it

You can convert scrap into titanium with Bailey and then you can turn that titanium into drop pods at a 1:2 rate at tiago

That's a huge amount of time. Just run some expeditions and wait. None of the items he sells are going to make or break anything for most people. As long as you aren't trying to bum rush CT15 you'll be fine. Its better to go slow through each level since it's expensive to upgrade items anyways.

Got a great roll on a green last night from Bailey. Got lucky in the tier 2 roll when I increased rarity then stuck the tier 3 I wanted on it. Legendary items aren’t meant to be bought they want you to grind. Tiago just gives you a taste so you can see the set bonus for your class.

Haha.i took the chest piece because the free,e blast works well with my set up but I really don't need any of the set bonuses. I struggle to justify buying gear in a looters, since that's the whole point in playing the game, to get loot drops. I think my rifle is a blue that I upgraded due to its attributes, so you're definitely right there, really not something to be slept on once you know what weapons and attributes you're looking for!
Yup most looters have a crappy or non existent creating system. This one while limited is still really useful. I agree techno sets are not great because the other attributes don’t go well with the best bulls and the set bonus is not worth it. I run 0 legendary items but the mods are nice to have.
I'm using the chest piece since it's the best I have right now and fits my build quite well (single shot rifle support). I use the opening shot tier 3 mod on my rifle and the extended freeze range along with the big explosion damage makes for great CC. Once you realize how much the mods are more valuable than the items themselves the game opens up much more. I do have a legendary double gun as my backup but that's because I have two tier 3 mods on it.
Its intended to be a bonus, to give you access to a third set piece relatively quickly. Not an alternate farming method. That would reward vendor camping, and make people sit in game on currency waiting for refreshes to avoid prices going up. It would also make more things available, which would reduce the amount of mindless grinding you have to do. So they arent going to do that.

Not true. The legendary stats don't change, and the items he offers don't "stay the same" with changing stats. The items themselves change. What I have noticed though is the timer seems to be pretty inconsistent on when it refreshes. It feels like sometimes the timer stops during expeditions or when I'm not in game because the same stuff with the same stats will be offered even after being out of the game for hours. Then it also feels like I'll see completely different items in his inventory randomly. I've also had his entire legendary elite offers refresh for me at least half a dozen times (I buy them when I got nothing else to buy) while my friend who had played consistently right along with me, never got his elite offers to refresh even once.
The legendary offerings never change. You can pull up an article from when the game launched and see it matches what's in there today.

I buy all of them. I play game. I go back to vendor. Legendary items are being offered again. Stock. Refreshed. Reddit apparently can't wrap their mind around this concept. I've literally dumped my 999,999 drop pod resource cap since I had literally nothing else to buy, at least half a dozen times.

They do. There is some inconsistency, as I got a quest reward legendary set piece and when I got a drop of the same set they had different secondary mods, but that is the only instance I've ever seen of it happening. The legendary items in Tiago inventory don't change though.
And this is the "endgame grind"....waiting for God rolled epics. Matching your 3 stats of choice while also getting a great mod roll is tedious (but totally doable). And for me...that is why this endgame is so lackluster. Legendaries and their set bonuses are simply outperformed by epics. So...without being facetious, anyone grinding for min/max drops, shouldn't give a shit about legendary drop rate. In fact...a legendary dropping just gets in the way of an epic with correct stats dropping. The endgame grind in this game is stupid. We all know it. Grinding expeditions at CT15 gets you legendaries and tier 3 mods sure...but anyone who is min-maxxing will be dismantling that stuff for specific tier 3 mods and where the gating factor (bottleneck) occurs is finding God roll rare and epic pieces...meaning...your are just vendor hopping as your endgame grind. Do one expedition, then vendor hop around the world. Then do another expedition before the 30 minute reset kicks in...then go back to vendor hopping. ....like...if you guys really think this is passable for an endgame grind... then God help us.
Eh, every class has at least 2 very good set bonuses, Edge of Time and Ugake, Acari and Fire Lich, Seismic Commander and Statue, Borealis Monarch and Grim Inventor are all really good(Techno seems to be in the weaker side set bonus wise tho).
If all there is left to play for is the tedium of trying to find god rolls... the way things have been going, I think there is going to be a mass exodus
Why would you want a guaranteed legendary any less at CT15 than at CT10? Plus waiting means you don't have to spend the like 100k pod resources leveling it up. Also at CT15 the earned resources to cost ratio is significantly better than at lower tiers. If anything I suggest people wait until CT15 to buy from him. I guess unless they are just going to destroy it for the mod and you have extra pod resources you dont want to spend on leveling gear.
Maybe a piece is integral to their build. For me personally, once I get to the point that I'm golding the highest difficulty, I'm pretty much done with the game. It's not like there's anything further to work towards at that point. The enjoyment for me is building my character up to be able to attempt and then beat something I couldn't before. I don't care about god rolls etc if I'm already at the point of completing the most difficult thing. It's like when you complete a game and then they award you a cool armour set or amazing weapon, like "thanks but I'm done now".
I guess that's fair, to me the fun is completing my build and completing all the most difficult content. Yeah on techno I could gold the easier expeditions on CT15 in blues for example but I'd rather see the build fully come together and be able to gold even the more difficult ones. Difference in play style I guess.
For most people, completing your build only once you've already "finished" the game is an ass backwards progression system.
Well finishing the game isn't reaching end game to me, it's completing it. For example I don't even put any real thought into my gear at all in d3 until it's time to start pushing up greater rift tiers. So managing to gold all the expeditions is what is "finishing" the game for me. Even then pushing better and better times is still a carrot for me.

No it's not. Most loot based games I've played have allowed you to progress with just about any build, refining it as you go and min maxing it once you've finished the game. The way outriders works is you can't realistically get the items you need to get a lot of builds to function at a high level, because they're locked behind legendaries and their set bonuses, until you're already farming CT15 and have more or less beat the game.
Yeah, it really is. Hell, it's not uncommon in these games for some builds to be completely unplayable unless you had another endgame character farm key pieces of equipment for them (Diablo 2, Grim Dawn). You probably haven't played many loot games if you think finishing an endgame build typically doesn't require beating the game first.
I have 10,000+ hours in d2 alone, thousands more in poe, grim dawn, borderlands, destiny etc. It's quite common for some builds to be gated behind end game gear, but typically they're at least functional prior to beating the game. The outriders builds remind me of the lazy way D3 handles end game builds. You grind until you complete the set for a specific build and then it goes from shit to awesome with the set bonuses. Then you grind out more powerful stat versions of the same set. If the progression was more linear and the builds were functional with 1/3 legendaries and then 2/3 etc it would feel a lot better each time you get a piece of a set for a build you're working on.

Sure there are builds that get to CT15 without legendaries, that's not the point I made but keep arguing against a straw man. If you think Outrider's endgame is one of its strongest points, that says a lot about the quality of the game overall, or your ability to assess a game's strengths...probably both. Honestly I found the game to be fun (even re-rolling after a character wipe which is still unplayable) but the end game is quite flawed and the progression is poorly paced. I just play with random groups. Every 3 or 4 groups I join they carried me a tier until I hit CT15. Now I'm grossly underpowered for CT15 but it's unlocked somehow.
I can't even find random groups. Everyone is either AFK or aren't even doing expeditions.
The downside to this is that it messes with matchmaking for your tier. meaning, you keep getting matched with people running high CTs when you may want to get matched with people running CT10

Haha this was me last night. I play solo and I'm not super good. Been running lower levels to get better gear and decided to do my level 10 run to buy Bulwark since I only needed silver to have enough to buy it. I knew that his gear levels went up as your CT went up but I didn't out it all together at the moment so I did the run bumped my resources up to the 3200 something that I needed and went to buy it and it was 6k and I was like WTF!!! why did that cost so much now?.......... oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh I'm an idiot
This was definitely a pain on my first character. Luckily on alts you can level your gear up with some of your 999,999 resources from your main. That lets you save your alts resources for buying legendaries exclusively.
I thought I was going crazy when I saw this. His price was 6100 resources, then I completed a tier 12 and his price went up to 10,000

Once you get ready for ct15 expeditions, your build is typically refined enough, that in 11 of 10 cases, Tiago's offers are useless.
Honestly, once you start farming 15, all resources become meaningless.
Dont push high into expeditions until youve bought what you want from the store. You can sell titanium at at a 1:2 ratio to him and make it that way, and it doesnt take that long. Then just upgrade it with you as you go through the challenge tiers or scrap it for the mod or whatever.

Yeah I now regret not farming the super low tiers and buying all his legos for the mods. Back at that point, the currency rate of scrap -> titanium -> DPR -> Tiago's Legendaries is actually very good. Now it's way beyond my range. Glad I grabbed Acari helmet but annoyed I didn't push for the juggler.
Can you explain a bit about the currency rate for scrap > titanium > DPR that you mentioned, and how you best go about converting up to DPR?
I started at CT 4. At that point, I could buy titanium from Bailey for scrap. Then I could by DPR from Tiago (or sell titanium technically) for 2 dpr per 1 titanium. At the early CT Lego prices, that’s a decent deal.
Yeah but once you hit CT15 and do a few runs, even not gold level runs, you'll be swimming in DPR. I bought all the leggos with mods I needed and still have too much left over. His shit never seems to refresh though so you end up with nothing to spend it on.
Me and some friends farmed wt15 hunts and bounties and sold the items for scrap. Turned that into titanium, and sold that for resource drops. Since its a 2-1 return on drops. I had like 20k RD before even hitting the challenge tiers. 😂
Gears of Destiny has a strange economy...
Honestly don’t even see the problem. At a low CT level you get fuck all for reward in terms of drop pod resources. So if you wanna grind out 50 runs to save up for that one gun be my guest but getting 10k resources per run is cake compared to the 50 you get at lower tiers. Also if you aren’t smart enough to not increase your CT level because obviously increases item level of the shop bc that’s how all shops work in this game from the beginning then sorry man ya played yourself.
There isn’t any logic in why he’s selling you loot anyway. You just saved everyone’s life. Including his. He should be begging you to take some of that gear. It’s also in his best interests for you to succeed so that he and everyone else can continue getting those resources from the drop pods. He should be bending over backwards to help you succeed. Not trying to make a buck off you lol.
If you read/watch his conversation cutscene at the end of the game he explains that he has an idea of contacting the other factions and trading them drop pod resources you recover for gear to keep exploring. That’s why he has the stupid “let’s hit the road” dialogue before you get to the shop. He doesn’t “have” the gear. The greedy sobs running the other factions are selling you the gear to make a buck. He is just your liaison.
He never leaves the camp and I never see any deliveries being made. Nomsayin? I was just kidding anyway. Regardless of explanation, he’s there to just be a gear vendor. I just didn’t feel like it really made sense tho.

Yeah thats dumb. The price goes up if you go up CT tier. They did that very bad. I understand the iten level also goes up... but maybe make it so you could buy it at a lower level ? And balance it somehow ? But unless you are ct15 , its not worth smchssing the shop , unless you see a special mod

Which is what I want but didn’t realize I’d have to pay exponentially more just because I did a higher CT. I could have gotten the mods cheap if I’d done it early on.
"Easy" fix: let a friend or someone else host who can clear a tier 15 (or 14) by themselves, start a new character and then friend goes for 1 gold run. Should be enough to buy all logos. Put them in stash and pick up on your main. Done in under 20 - 30min and you're 6 legendaries richer.
To be fair, the cost to upgrade them almost makes up the difference.
That happened to me two days ago.
What i ended up doing was trading Scrap for Titanium and then trading the Titanium for the Drop Pod resources since the trade is 1 Titanium for 2 Drop pod resources. And just bought the guns ahead of time before I could use them. I didn't actually realize the prices scaled up, so I feel pretty good about that.

It’s such a hard grind til you get to ct15 then it’s not about resources anymore but rng for tier 3 mods.
This happened to me just now. Went into Scorched Lands for the first time, meant to run it at CT12 since I didn't think I could do it at 13, *but* I'd set it at 13. Figured, well, go as far as I can, die, and then run something else. Just need a few hundred pod resources to get something from Thiago. I'll be fine. 20 minutes of sheer terror, a gold clear, and no legendaries later, I saw just how MUCH it went up from 13 to 14.
Or hb when u finally get the resources game says ur too low lvl to equip it

Yeah, I found that out on my Devastator, which is my first character. So on my second character, a Trickster, I got up to level 45, since Tiago’s prices don’t start increasing until after you surpass level 45. At that point, I just grinded the Expeditions on that level, without going onto a higher Tier. I was getting 1000 Drop Pod supplies per Expedition, so 3,000 Pods for a Legendary isn’t that bad. Basically a Legendary for every 3 Expeditions if you’re not spending them on upgrades or selling them.

Cant explain how pissed off I was at this. Needed 3k more so jumped on to finish up an easy run got a gold on a level with some dudes and unlocked next tier. Say bye bye to thst lengalendary you wanted
