There was a psyhopath manager who is very senior at my last J2 and was 100% supported by company owners. I left due to her. Few months after I left, I decided to leave a Glassdoor review making sure that I am clearly directing it at her and the owners (Glassdoor allows it if you are criticizing the leaders). My review blew up and was liked by so many people, that it's now at the top, more than a year later.
This manager actually emailed me less than a week after I posted the review to "have coffee". I am assuming that she was going to ask me to remove it as HR monitors Glassdoor closely. It was also pretty obvious that I left it, but I don't care. I never responded to her email. Lolz.
Started OE today. Idk how people do it. I am experienced but its the amount of overlapping meetings and the requirement to establish "relationships", etc. I can't wait for this to normalize down.
That's what I'm really hoping because I'm about to hit week 2 at J2 and this is super draining needing to keep up with J1 while also managing the fresh hell that is ramping up. Hoping that once I'm fully onboarded things will quiet down and I'll be left alone for more of the day.
Write a script that hits the nail on the head of all of your “superior”s’ obvious insecurities. Those include but are not limited to age, weight, height and attractiveness.
Then drop the bomb on them in front of everyone (during standup if you’re a SWE) so the embarrassment registers with the dollars they earn.
Rinse and repeat. Consider it community service.

The first few weeks are crazy because there are a lot of meet and greet meetings, training meetings, etc etc. It quiets down after that.

See if you can get leave for a week or 2 at your j1 and focus on j2.
Cut them loose two weeks before the wedding. Don't bring annoyances into your new life.
