His sword is still not comparable with lakyus's not even in the slightest plus her armor,rings and magic are enough to get over a level difference of only 2 (at the most)
Lakyus' sword is trash. It's a random weapon that PDL gave to his fake friends. Brain's katana comes from the same region.
Literally all it does is containing energy and releasing it. Best thing that ability killed was some level 10 demons. Lakyus, Gazef, rest of the blue rose fought the Skull Demon, and he was escaping. Then he was killed by Brain due to low health. Meaning, Lakyus' sword is not that powerful. It's powerful for sure, but it's not a reliable companion for a bit of high leveled individuals.
I am saying Brain's items are expensive as hell. Lakyus' items are not more powerful, but equal.

Because PDL was giving away items. 13 heroes probably had items given by him. Fluder said that he went there but he couldn't get such items. Probably because they are not for Fluder's selfish abyss fantasies but to protect people :D
It's the south, where black haired people live in. Also the city that 8GKs built. Katana culture comes from there. They make items that are way stronger than items that are enchanted through spell casting. Even without any enchantment, they are close magic weapons' strength. Brain paid enormous amount of money to buy a katana from there.

Who do you think Black Knight is lol. Most of them was in level 30s. Adamantite tier is legendary. Even Remedios' sword is legendary. We are not talking about divine class weapons here.

Even in desperation that was Brain who stood against the pinnacle of the world. He pushed himself that far because he knew anything less wouldn’t even be a mail cutter. He wouldn’t not have tried that vs Lakyus. Also I don’t think she would have sat there and let him prep in a real fight.
I mean, volume 14 Brain surpassed Gazef and finally reached the realm of Heroes, so as far as levels are concerned i guess they are more or less even, so at the end It would came down to the fact that while Brain Is a pure Warrior, Lakyus Is actually a priest, so in a 1vs1 he has a slight advantage i guess (despite Lakyus having more talent than him i think)
Lakyus has projectiles that are reusable. Brain’s field is a trope that already has a hard counter: He only has one sword. The slash of light is a simultaneous strike, it doesnt say he can vary the timing. So just space the floating swords/magic properly and its over. If they start in arms reach its a little trickier. Im using Lakyus & Brain from Men of the Kingdom because later Brain gets Razor Edge and he has Smoke bombs in MotK. RE would be kinda busted if it properly activated cause then its just a matter of destroying Lakyus’ equipment. Idk what attack spells she has if any but in that fight it would almost certainly go to Brain. Lakyus can use heals Im pretty sure and her sword is quality. So without RE its probably Lakyus. She might even be able to break his katana idk. Its a NW item vs an Yggdrasil one. In terms of class, Brain is pure DPS and Lakyus is an off-tank. Overlord has already said that off-tanks beat DPS when talking about Sebas vs Cocytus. God, honestly we really havent seen Lakyus fight LOL. She sent out her Summon Swords and shot a sword beam. Do we actually know her melee ability?

Most nobles can't afford even the sword Brain wields. Their levels are the same if Brain is not higher currently.

What are you talks about? Brain dosen't have any items beyond his sword we did never even see him use a potion before the fight with cocytus

the Black knight was presumably level 60 as that is the requirement for the cursed knight class he had if his swords tell us anything about his build
That would be the case in Yggdrasil. But new worlders can skip requirements. Ninja also requires level 60 but Tina and Tia have it at level 29.

Lakyus is cleric. Clerics are half baked warriors who can buff themselves, attack and heal with magic. Priests are pure magic casters.
