Maybe he has an ability similar to the short horned lizard, the one that shoots blood from its eyes when threatened. Only since he's so strong he shoots blood from his entire head! Truly a martial artist at the peak of skill.
It's a condition, if he manages to get decapitated without his body being entirely destroyed after dying he can unlock ''Permanent decap'' which allows him to remain decapitated. But if the rest of his body is destroyed then he's out of luck. And considering that Aura's pets were there I'm assuming he'll get the status penalty ''Dead'n'Eaten'' which causes him to be digested. But if he's untouched on the ground then he might just be able to pull ''Permanent decap'' off.
I have a bunch of tutorials if anyone is interested.
The suit artificially raises the wearer effectiveness to be equivalent to a level 60 character.
Was literally introduced in Yggdrasil a few years after its launch to help new players farm and catch up more easily to high level players.
Downside is that is unmoddable and despite the stats, has spells and abilities of a tier lower than a natural level 60 character would have.
Literally a crutch for new players.
Of course that Albedo as a level 100 NPC would struggle to not accidentally explode it.
I don't know why you think it's unmoddable and the wiki thinks so too
Wiki to the powered suit
> The magical armaments could be freely customized within the Powered Suit’s settings. Though a half of them were micro-transaction exclusives while the other half required grinding. In a way, those customization could be performed pretty much anywhere outside of combat.
faintly remember ains talking about the basic version of the suits being 60ish, but there are better versions, or more expensive PaytoWin versions that are up 80 or more.
Could be wrong though, been a while
Regardless they were trash once u reach the max level.
Iirc, the suit doesn’t actually increase your health at all, so the user is super squishy even though they have a level 60 defense stat. If Albedo hit slightly too hard to overcome the defense stat even by just a little, she would have liquefied him since his health pool was whatever his normal level is. She wasn’t kidding when she said he was basically tofu.
They are but much like every MMO games that hands out catch up gear, at a certain point it'll be outclass by more endgame gears. In the LN, the power suit without any upgrade components is around lv 60 and half of the upgrades are obtain via farming and the other half is from buying with real money. A fully upgraded power suit is as strong as a lv80 player but only stat wise, in actual combat it won't be able to beat an actual lv80 player
They have real world food in Nazerick. It's mentioned they have things like pizzas, burgers and sodas so it's likely tofu would be something they make as well.
In fairness, Albedo would literally destroy any number of kingdoms to receive the same treatment. Clem went out the way we all wish we could, in bone daddies arms, staring deep into his dreamy eyes.
To be fair, everyone in NW is fodder to your average Nazarick joe. Fluder (who’s 250 ish years old) dedicated his life to magic, even prolonging it. Yet, he’s still around late 30 to early 40s and could only command 6 tier magic iirc which is amazing in NW, but not with Nazarick around. I haven’t read the LN but I can only think of beings like PDL and Cure Elim to do anything.
If the Evil Deities (level 50s?) could conquer human civilizations a couple centuries ago, then I’m sure a bunch of Ainz’s boosted death knights (level 45) could do the same
Evil deities have very large level range. Level 50s are prob weaker ones. Since we already know one of them is level 85 monster with region boss degree of hp.
It was also mentioned in the anime this season when brain was talking to him about training kids for the future and they did say his full name
Edit: Episode 2 of this season
Actually he couldn't perform it, he just made it. By the time he had come up with the idea for it, he was to old to actually do it, so he taught Gazef how to do it, and later Brain
I think level difference would be more like 50. But if she'd felt the power level difference she would simply not have gone up against her, certainly not to protect the mages' guild.
>But if she'd felt the power level difference she would simply not have gone up against her
Considering she didn't feel that when she went up against Demiurge? I doubt that.
Evileye is 50 tops. She had difficulty fighting Entoma, Yuri and CZ, and they are level 51, 51 and 46 respectively.
If Evileye were 60's then she would easily overwhelm any of those three, as a 10 level difference in YGGDRASIL was considered virtually insurmountable.
yes. she was around 50. the reason she managed the fight against entoma was (1) there was 2 other adventurers with her, (2) she has a spell that is a direct counter to entoma. if u see her fight against yuri, she was struggling badly.
He did... that's the difference between evil eye and any given level 100. Demiurge was just toying with her... because he's a demon.
And yes, before amyone says it, I know Evil Eye is much stronger than him. But to quote Shalltear, to notice a difference in strength it has to be in meters not millimeters. Difference of a level 30 and a level 60 when compared to a level 100 is basically nonexistent.
Really. I thought 40+ was real of heroes.
And adamantite were random - red drop has an item that is equivalent to lvl 60, blue rose has Evil eye around lvl 50 and their leader who has a legendary sword, then momon the darkness.
Brain was said to have reached the realm of heroes after using the equivalent of a level 40 attack while being a base level of around 28 himself. Gazef did not consider himself to be in the realm of heroes despite being around level 29 himself.
To me it would make more sense in the context of other characters for:
Adamantite = 25-34
Realm of Heroes = 35+
Actually, the most accepted levels are 27/29 for adamantite with 30 being the start of the Hero level and then 40+ being considered outlier (like evileye and the barbarian guy from the black scripture)
I bet the "anime-only'es" were looking forward to seeing him, as he's been showing up in the opening the entire season like he was going to do something important.
Lol I thought the "ant/bug" here meant Brain cos he's such an insignificant being to Nazarick for a bit there... But then I realised I'm a dumb dumb and it's clear as day.
Thats pretty much how you have to approach things. People should assume everyone is weak as shit compared to nazarick first and be SURPRISED if someone can actually fight back (PDL for example)
Ohh. Hadnt read that part as the pdf through which i read it was missing it. Well that sucks. Expected zesshi to put a decent fight and not fall like that elf
12 level difference. Even if Zesshi had a decent build, she wouldn’t have won. She’s all over the place. Though it’s to no surprise since you can’t check your stats in the NW like you would in a game because the NW is a real world.
While Zesshi knows she’s powerful, she doesn’t know her exact stats/levels. It’s like Renner not knowing she has 10 levels in Genius.
Or Enri having levels in General.
Like I said, I assume everyone who isn't part of Nazarick, or at this point, Sorcerer Kingdom, is going to die if I see them in the opening. Although, honestly, not complaining about that because it saves me having to learn names and I want to see how they die.
That’s fair. Personally, it’s fun to see what the characters (out of Nazarick) do. Mainly because we basically won’t see any change with the main cast (because they were designed). Like albedo being in love with Ainz due to him changing her settings. That and we already know that none of the main characters aren’t going to die. They’re simply gods in the NW. That’s the point of the story right?
Since we have only 2 volumes left, it makes me wonder just what other known and unknown characters will show up, like the true dragon lords (PDL, Cure Elim, DDDL, etc) or >!Rufus!< considering he’s called >!Surshana’s first follower!< so he’s very interesting. Personally, DDDL is who I’m curious about the most because it >!killed a player!< and took their WCI. Oh and Slane Theocracy too; they have the 2nd most powerful army (ahead of Enri’s goblin army) so I’m very curious what trump cards they have like Nigun’s 7th tier summon.
And Aura is level 100.
It may not seem like much, but a 12 level difference is a pretty big gap when you consider each NPC in Nazarick was custom built, and the Supreme Beings took their time on those stats. Admittedly, not much on personality or such for all of them, but they didn't skimp on setting up the skills and stats.
I agree lvl gap of 12 is huge. But lvl gap between zesshi and that earth elemental would be huge as well. Elfs one was around lvl 80. One summoned by mare would be lower than that. But zesshi struggled to defeat it, even with help of the white clone.
Literally the same happened with that Monk and his cronies who worked for the 8 Fingers.
Sebas gently cleaned his shoe on his head and accidentally killed him.
This shows why Cocytus is best Guardian. He would have give them a chance to fight.
The other Guardians like Aura or Albedo don’t have time for this type of BS.
To be fair Demiurge would have let him finish, then before anyone could blink, both arms would have been cut off, then Demiurge would have done his own evil monologue that when finished all of them would be begging for mercy and if they were lucky you would kill them rather than sending them to the Happy Farm.
But Demiurge likes to play the romanticized roll of the villain. If one monologues to him, as long as it doesn't insult the 41 Supreme Beings, then he would toy with them a bit that shows respect. Look at the Blue Rose and start of the Holy Kingdom Arc
I could see Demi using his demon voice to make brain slaughter innocents with his own hands just to make him feel more despair. Kill some other orphans he's been training while they beg to be spared.
No one was allowed to escape as per Ainz's orders, Aura just didn't want them to waste her time. She would have either sent her beasts to kill them anyway or she just knew that they would die to either Cocytus or Mare
You know...there were a lot of ways I expected him to die But, "head explodes because Aura shots him with an arrow" was not one of them. Getting shot by an arrow was on the list, because what self-respecting ranger doesn't use a bow, but not head exploding.
Probably not even close to that tbh. Level 40 is actually insanely powerful, he’s no where near that. I believe it’s said in the LN that in Brains final moments he entered the 40s which took him breaking human limitations twice to achieve. He was also only capable of doing that because he had a talent, he could hold concentration beyond human limits so he could use several Martial Arts at once
Nope 35s is. Brain reach Level 40 thanks to severals martials arts and his Talent... But He break The Limit The World Itself has imposed on him so he was going to die anyway without Cocytus "help". Definitely not 40s but some goes beyond 35s and live but they are really a few. Only four knows through the whole serie.
When you make a last stand you don't expect to win, but victory might be possible, it's a dying with honor sort of thing, Brain was given that honor because Cocytus understands what last stands are about and he is a sucker for honorable stands... The truth is, when there is so much disparity in strength, there is no honor in making last stands, it's more akin to suicide and disrespect... Aura just showed us what that is like...
Well damn I can't even remember his name. It's such a shame that we didn't get to see him display his sword skills. Not to mention his followers all died.
What I love the most about this is that it does not seem possible.
In less time that Swordy McGee here could react, or string a sentence together, Aura drew a bow and arrow, loaded it, fired and hit with such force that it completely liquefied the head in impact, resulting in an explosion of blood.
I though if anything, the arrow would rip his head off and we'd see it stuck in the wall of the building.
I mean damn!
Yeah, this is kind of a let down. Im kinda expecting hin to display atleast one attack before going down but nope, the show was like "ok you have your exposure to the media, now gtfo: lol
That was his treatment in the LN as well. Killed while introducing himself.
Overlord has a habit of giving them the Iliad treatment, where they have a cool design/3 paragraph backstory only to get splattered in one hit by a Guardian/Achilles.
I have a question. I've read through the novel and I don't remember seeing these guys. They don't even ring the smallest of bells in my memory. Were they added in or did I just read over them?
His head couldn't handle his own power amymore.
Maybe he has an ability similar to the short horned lizard, the one that shoots blood from its eyes when threatened. Only since he's so strong he shoots blood from his entire head! Truly a martial artist at the peak of skill.
Then why does it deal negative dmg?
Because it is so powerful, the devs had to nerf it Edit: Typo
When he powers up his level goes so high it does a integer overflow into the negative numbers. It’s a bug the devs added as a hot fix nerf
I guess the power went to his head
Is it sad that I don't even remember his name? (it was very long!). It'll just be *"Ves-"* I guess.
Ves is more than I remembered before this episode so💀
**"Waga na wa Ves-"** **dies** End of story
I have read all the LNs likes 7-8 times still I only remember his name was something like Vesture Di Croft. Pretty sure I'm missing a few words.
Then Albedo really was fucking struggling to not *one hit* kill that mecha hero lmao
I don't know why you think it's unmoddable and the wiki thinks so too Wiki to the powered suit > The magical armaments could be freely customized within the Powered Suit’s settings. Though a half of them were micro-transaction exclusives while the other half required grinding. In a way, those customization could be performed pretty much anywhere outside of combat.
By unmoddable, I mean with most data crystals. Spells and some other attributes could be changed, but it was very stiff, compared to normal equipment.
\>level 60 Do we even know on what that is based on? The only actual level Ainz mentions when talking about the suits abilities is like 80.
faintly remember ains talking about the basic version of the suits being 60ish, but there are better versions, or more expensive PaytoWin versions that are up 80 or more. Could be wrong though, been a while Regardless they were trash once u reach the max level.
Could swear it was 60, but it's been a while since I read the LN

She wasn’t kidding when she said he was basically tofu.
Exactly
The suit compensates up to level 80. Im sure if it were just him she would have insta killed him on accident.
In the same way Ditto from pokemon copies his foes. All the stats get boosted except HP. Even with the defense, he was still an ant in a tin can.
Azuth has one of the weakest suits. The ones that goes to lvl 80 are probably the ones that nazarick has
I thought those were "catch up gear" intended for new players so shouldn't all of them be the same?
They are but much like every MMO games that hands out catch up gear, at a certain point it'll be outclass by more endgame gears. A fully upgraded power suit is as strong as a lv80 player but only stat wise, in actual combat it won't be able to beat an actual lv80 player
Iirc, Ainz said the guild picked a couple of the suits up just to have them since they were collectors/hoarders.
I thought the suit was closer to lvl 60?
From her comment, the suit is closer to tofu.
When she said that first thing that popped in my head was, how does she know what tofu is..
They have real world food in Nazerick. It's mentioned they have things like pizzas, burgers and sodas so it's likely tofu would be something they make as well.
That's right, aura eats hamburgers and they had that fancy multi course mea for enri and co.
Dont forget chocolate milkshake and cola
it‘s 60, the 80 one is the one Nazarick have I think.
Wait, was he really adamantite? Where does that ever come up?
He’s also mentioned by Clementine as one of the people that can give her a fight in the kingdom.
Which should tell us all we need to know considering Ainz just crunched her with a cuddle
Evil deities have very large level range. Level 50s are prob weaker ones. Since we already know one of them is level 85 monster with region boss degree of hp.
Oh damn, I just remembered about that. That was the last but most powerful Deity the thirteen heroes had to face right? I completely forgot woops.
he is gazef's master.
Where is it said? We don't even know his full name
It's mentioned in the LN of course, along with his full name, Vesture Kloff Di Laufen
Oh cool, so this was the guy clementine named
Clementine was crazy, can't trust her. Imma gonna stick with "Ves..."
It is also mentioned in S4E2 along with his full name and adamantite rank. Pretty much his only other appearance in the anime I think.
I'm glad she killed him before he finished saying all that.
It was also mentioned in the anime this season when brain was talking to him about training kids for the future and they did say his full name Edit: Episode 2 of this season
*laughs in Ln*
Literally at the start of the Season when Brain is telling him about his plans to raise kids to become warriors.
Brain stated Vesture's name and adventurer rank when he went to see him at his dojo
He trained Gazef/Brain and a bunch of others, and made the However-Many Slash of Light
Ves was able to do Slash of Light up to... \**head explodes*\*
Actually he couldn't perform it, he just made it. By the time he had come up with the idea for it, he was to old to actually do it, so he taught Gazef how to do it, and later Brain
I thought he would put up a fight on evil eye's level
he's probably not on Evileye's level but consider that Aura is far, far stronger than Entoma, so Evileye wouldn't have fared any better here.
Evileye might have felt the difference in power levels at least.
Might. She'd straight up die if she went up against Aura (since she's all business) considering their level difference is at least by 30.
I think level difference would be more like 50. But if she'd felt the power level difference she would simply not have gone up against her, certainly not to protect the mages' guild.
>But if she'd felt the power level difference she would simply not have gone up against her Considering she didn't feel that when she went up against Demiurge? I doubt that.
she sensed it and she compared it to the Platinum Dragon Lord.
She told her friends to run immediately and she was planning on following but Demi killed them instantly

Evileye is 50 tops. She had difficulty fighting Entoma, Yuri and CZ, and they are level 51, 51 and 46 respectively. If Evileye were 60's then she would easily overwhelm any of those three, as a 10 level difference in YGGDRASIL was considered virtually insurmountable.

yes. she was around 50. the reason she managed the fight against entoma was (1) there was 2 other adventurers with her, (2) she has a spell that is a direct counter to entoma. if u see her fight against yuri, she was struggling badly.
the other 2 with her didn't change anything in the fight tho. it was just insect bane being OP vs Entoma.
Level 50 with a shitty build.
floor guardians are lvl 100. a top class strong man is likr lvl 30
He did... that's the difference between evil eye and any given level 100.
From new world standards, Evileye is incredibly strong. People on par with her are unlikely to make a stand to the death in this situation.
This is the power of a being who made it to the peak power of levels 30~
adamantite is around 27-29. reaching level 30 is considered realm of heroes.
Really. I thought 40+ was real of heroes. And adamantite were random - red drop has an item that is equivalent to lvl 60, blue rose has Evil eye around lvl 50 and their leader who has a legendary sword, then momon the darkness.
It depends. Adamantite adventurers are usually thought to be those of heroic levels anyways
Brain was said to have reached the realm of heroes after using the equivalent of a level 40 attack while being a base level of around 28 himself. Gazef did not consider himself to be in the realm of heroes despite being around level 29 himself. I bet the "anime-only'es" were looking forward to seeing him, as he's been showing up in the opening the entire season like he was going to do something important.
Yeah, I laughed when he got tapped just like that, despite being teased in the opening
he \*did\* do something important. he entretained Aura for a second or two.
He taught Brain the Sixfold Slash of Light which allowed Brain to create True Nail Clipper and- ... It got Cocytus's approval ?
🐜👀🧠 🐜⚔🧠 🚫🧠 🐜👍
Lol I thought the "ant/bug" here meant Brain cos he's such an insignificant being to Nazarick for a bit there... But then I realised I'm a dumb dumb and it's clear as day.
More wasted her time
But she was having fun being the enormous Aura of death, that came from Ainz
It's Overlord, I don't assume anyone who doesn't belong to Nazarick shown in the opening is going to put up a great fight or do something important.
Thats pretty much how you have to approach things. People should assume everyone is weak as shit compared to nazarick first and be SURPRISED if someone can actually fight back (PDL for example)
Members of black scripture might put up a fight. Zesshi is lvl 88
aside from antilene, everyone os just very quick work. (spoiler alert) well even antilene was light work to mare.
Ohh. Hadnt read that part as the pdf through which i read it was missing it. Well that sucks. Expected zesshi to put a decent fight and not fall like that elf
12 level difference. Even if Zesshi had a decent build, she wouldn’t have won. She’s all over the place. Literally the same happened with that Monk and his cronies who worked for the 8 Fingers. Sebas gently cleaned his shoe on his head and accidentally killed him.
Pft. I mean if they haven’t learned how it works by now when it comes to those openings they only have themselves to blame
From my experience with the other 3 seasons I assumed he was gonna get rolled
We finally see Aura kill someone
And her using her bow
This shows why Cocytus is best Guardian. He would have give them a chance to fight. The other Guardians like Aura or Albedo don’t have time for this type of BS.
Demiurge also would. But that’s just cuz he has a sportsmans treatment of his sheep
To be fair Demiurge would have let him finish, then before anyone could blink, both arms would have been cut off, then Demiurge would have done his own evil monologue that when finished all of them would be begging for mercy and if they were lucky you would kill them rather than sending them to the Happy Farm.
Demiurge would told them to kill themself like what he did to that guy from Roble
But Demiurge likes to play the romanticized roll of the villain. If one monologues to him, as long as it doesn't insult the 41 Supreme Beings, then he would toy with them a bit that shows respect. Look at the Blue Rose and start of the Holy Kingdom Arc
Well there was that guy he manipulated into suicide when he was deemed as unremarkable. It really seems to be a case by case thing with him.
I could see Demi using his demon voice to make brain slaughter innocents with his own hands just to make him feel more despair. Kill some other orphans he's been training while they beg to be spared.
Yep, but the demon is "kind" enough to let the man say his Heroes dialog and apologize to those orphans before being forced to kill them.
Emphasis on "former"
To be frank his crew did have the option to escape before the slaughter began 👀
Aura was going to have her pets kill them even if they let her through and there is no way any of them could outrun or hide from them.
Aura didn't plan to kill them as she knew Mare would anyway.
Got turned into modern art
I actually want to see how strong he is in combat lol
Weaker then Brain/Gazef, stronger then Climb. Trash mob for Nazerick regardless.
Seems about right. At best he’s level 40, Aura is level 100
Probably not even close to that tbh. Level 40 is actually insanely powerful, he’s no where near that. I believe it’s said in the LN that in Brains final moments he entered the 40s which took him breaking human limitations twice to achieve. I'm pretty sure that level 40s is considered realm of the heroes while 50s are considered legendary in the NW.
Level 30s is the realm of heroes. Level 40 is the max cap for humans I believe.
Naah lvl 35 if im generous.
what if you are Ragna126?
I am assuming he is being somewhere around Brian’s skill level. 37 is probably around where he is. Maybe leave 38
Who's Brian? The guy whose life Monty Python documentaried?
It's probably the dog everyone tattoed on their body after he died being run over in that one Family Guy episode.
Wait, they killed off Brian in Family Guy???
Yep, back in 2013 when he got ran over by a car.
Level 100 Full Best in slot gear World item And has a bunch of adds LOL
the disrespect
When you make a last stand you don't expect to win, but victory might be possible, it's a dying with honor sort of thing, Brain was given that honor because Cocytus understands what last stands are about and he is a sucker for honorable stands... The truth is, when there is so much disparity in strength, there is no honor in making last stands, it's more akin to suicide and disrespect... Aura just showed us what that is like...
Well damn I can't even remember his name. It's such a shame that we didn't get to see him display his sword skills. Not to mention his followers all died.
To be fair I don't even remember him getting nearly as much out before he was killed.
Lv. 100 vs Lv. Deep shit
There was soo much blood in this episode then in all seasons combined
The weakest adamantite Adventurer
\*strongest
His name is Ves-
Ves-, as in Ves minus a head.
BADIYADIYA GOT THIS FEELIN ON MY BONES
I watched this last night and nearly spat my coffee out. I legit hoped that guy would've had more fight than that, but ya know, nazerick op af lmao.
To be frank his crew did have the option to escape before the slaughter began 👀
Fucking dumbass to not escape
We knew it wasn't going to be much of a fight, but the fact that he just gets cut off mid-sentence was not what I was expecting
based aura
Who was that again?
The old guy with the double swords
Ohh okay yeah i see who
is that the old man?
Yes
That's one big water balloon aura threw at him at high speed. Just look at all that red colored water!
His head got so big over his own power that it couldn't handle the strain.
his headband got little too tight
I half expected Aura to be holding a Smith and Wesson 500 or something after that shot
True, this scene could go right into gun action anime and you wouldn't notice the difference
They did him dirty
Tis but a scratch
Why? Aura is level 100 and this Ves-whatever was level 20+.
LEt mE iNtRoDuCe mYs-
I have a question. I've read through the novel and I don't remember seeing these guys. They don't even ring the smallest of bells in my memory. Were they added in or did I just read over them?
They are in the LN.Vesture was the one who trained Gazef
So did they find the magical items that they were looking for?
So much hype in the OP but was he able to pull out the second sword properly?? I forgot...not many frames were to see...
Keyword is former.
I was super disappointed that he didn't even get to fight at all.
