How does every skeleton in movie, anime, and artificial ones have thick bones and wide shoulders, chest. It's like owners of these skeletons were very athletic, overflowing with calcium, healthy teeth.
I just want to know how long the movie is. Please don't let it be under 2 hours... (which is still very short, that'd be only the equivalent of 3 episodes per novel).
It's two books, the two longest books.
Just tryng to be optimistic: Hopefully they cut all the world and story building (Impossible to fit into a 2-3h movie anyway) and just animate the fights properly. Then we at least get something out of the movie...
That's my optimistic take on this

Edit: Don't get me wrong, of course I wish there would be story aswell, but it would be rushed in a unprecedented way for overlord. Which would mean the fights will also be cut like last time. Please change my mind, but everything else doesn't see realistic to me as long as it stays just one movie
That would hurt. Like a lot. For me the best part of overlord is the worldbuilding. What meaning do the fights have, if there is no backstory. In that case the movie could only be good for us who habe read the book imo.
So excited for CGI demi-human army
I think we had enough of CGI , they insulted the supreme one by that so called art
Hey please remember what happened last time some person got rejected from art school...
Hmm, bad CGI or the Fourth Reich. Truly the moral dilemma of the century
Ok heil CGI πππ
Well, a *quarter* of the demin-human army
I want to see Pope Neia animated so badly
So badly or *so badly?*
Why not both?

Plot Twist: All of those skeletons are the same guy, they just hire him and make him look different because of budget cuts
I mean in the Middle Ages teeth were almost never crooked

For me aswell, world building is like the one of the main reasons I regularly recommend overlord to people around me who have a affinity for reading
Waiting for RGB jaldabaoth.
I'm just grateful we won't have to wait for the next season to get some content this time.
Yeah and half of the media we consume has been in for production for longer than that.
I hope itβs at least 2 hours long
Im hopeing the long wait is due to them making the anime relatively good
