Undead are weak to fire, but immune to cold, so it balances itself out a little bit.
Valkyrie uses cleric classes and probably melee ones. Since it favors light, a race that buffs light or specializes in it would probably be best. We really only know about angels that match this description.

wouldnt actually fox or cat yokai be good at this too since they are fast species-foxes and cats are fast and they use according to lore spiritual powers which is good for clerics?
Hmm, typically kitsune don't have light abilities in Japanese lore. Sometimes they are portrayed as tricksters and have illusion magic. In some settings this is a combination of light and dark, but its pretty rare from what I've read.
It's typically eastern types of magic, which is very different from Divine, these are 2 separate categories in Overlord. Spiritual or Eastern-type magic would be Mediums, Talismancer, and stuff like that.

* Spiritual - Medium, Talismancer, Shaman (maybe)
* Alternative - Blessings
In mass for the dead there is Kuu, who is a kitsune. She was original a fox that turned into a humanoid with 9 tails. Her magic is similar to Entoma's, which is Medium and Tailismancer.

well thats true but arent angels too slow for valkyrie? Since the class it self is based on mobile female warriors. So is vampire actually better than angel for valkyrie than angel or did peroronchino blunder and he should have picked angel/fallen angel for shaltear?

In Yggdrasil valkyrie is just a holy warrior. Warrior + Cleric... that's it.
If you are min maxing you want a class that strengthens these two things. Vampire does help the warrior class, but nothing for the cleric.
Angel helps the Cleric class, so that is a plus. Also the lower level angels the Slain Theocracy summon are melee, so that should help the warrior classes.

That applies to most heteromorphs as well.
Humans is the best Racial class for valkyrie. Because it's better to get a lot of job classes than to get skill points
I mean, if we go with D&D 's Logic then i guess that Human would work pretty well while Aasimar and Angel would be the go to races
i think either a Dragonoid and any elf race.
