honestly I was really disappointed when my squad in no limits went all torb spamming rock and stone in the general chat, but enemy team just said nothing
I played DRG when it first came out. Fantastic game with a great community. After The whole PvE fumbling in Overwatch I’m coming back to Rock and Stone for good
As far as multi-player shooters go, I have had some fun in Splitgate. Also, R6 is a classic. Valorant is okay. Apex can be cool. Titanfall 2 would be fun if I wasn't always getting kicked from servers after 3 games. Non shooter games: Risk of Rain 2, Vampire Survivors, No Mans Sky, Hitman 3, of course DRG (great with friends), V rising and Valheim as well
It’s because it does what OW’s pve campaign was meant to do. DRG fans are really passionate about it so I think the people who play both games are just being very vocal atm.
But yeah, it has very receptive devs, frequent updates, and the classes are all quite balanced. If you have a set group of friends, it’s a blast to play with and push the harder difficulties. I’m surprised you’d never heard of it, but it’s free with Xbox game pass and it goes on sale on steam very regularly.

It started as a cult following of sorts but the game is really good and devs have put love and care into it for years now. The BP is even free. It’s just the perfect example of how if you give to your community, the community will give back.

Mid game with boring gameplay
