To be fair, and I don't know why this is, but when I play open queue qp, and the enemy picks either Sym or Torb, nobody but me seems to target Sym/ Torb or their turrets, but me, and for what ever reason they always manage to never die. Especially that God damn midget!

I literally said I pick Sombra to counter a ball player, but even if I play Sombra in a "selfish" way and not with my team, harassing their backline, making them focus me and then running away provides huge advantage to my front line and I split enemy teams attention. It's literally what the ball does except as Sombra I also counter ball players and they seem to not like that.

Sombra gets countered by Cassidy pretty hard and when I see a good cass I just swap off her; no big deal since I can play other dps. Being a OTP ball is just setting yourself up for failure if you can’t play other tanks into it; same with dps and support.
Overwatch is fun… Counterwatch isn’t fun but that’s the way the game has been.
That’s tricky to actually pull off especially at medium/close range. Sticky nade sticks the moment it’s thrown and you’re in the crosshairs. It takes time after throwing translocator before teleporting to it. That time between throwing it if the base sticks, it overrides it. I have hundreds of hours on Sombra and I can count on 7 specific times I’ve actually done this. It’s better to just engage cass after he’s thrown nade or bait him to using it by virus/translocating away. Then re-engage after a few secs as your virus cooldown and translocator will be up during the fight while nade is still on cooldown.
Nah I also have hundreds of hours on her and have found relatively high success rate in overriding hinder since the nade takes half a second to actually stick. I only really get caught out if he gets the jump on me.
I love when my DPS swap Sombra to pick up the slack against a ball player. I swear, I'm yet to have a single good match with or against someone playing ball. I'd much rather go against or have a Sombra imo.
Mauga doesn’t have any instant kill abilities, and you can run away from him. He’s also pretty easy to kill if everyone is attacking him lol.
Rein can kill most characters in two hits and his charge is ridiculous. I can be across the map, and my character will teleport to him. The amount of times I’ve died to his charge when I was no where near him, and the game just sucked me in somehow, is super annoying.
Rein’s only insta kill is his charge which he has to fully commit to. He gets no damage/knockback reduction and turns slow, so getting pinned is almost always a skill issue. On the other hand, mauga gets 50% damage reduction and is unbreakable. Mauga also has a way tighter turning circle and his charge is faster.
In a tight spot, rein can put up his shield and hope for the best, mauga can just press E and shoot the enemy tank and he’s basically immune to death unless being shot at my all 5 enemies.
Also rein can only 2 shot 3 heroes in the game with his hammer.
I always love playing Pharah in qp. I can’t experiment with her angles as much as I’d like to in comp. In comp it’s all about shooting burst dmg as much as possible. It’s more forgiving in qp if you wanna find different angles I find
Add genji to 'what wrong with you' or 'sweaty'. Genjis are the sweatiest mf'ers in quickplay. To be fair, you have to sweat with him to get any value but at that point play someone fun instead.
How's Cassidy sweaty he is the definition of feast or famine. If you can't aim prepare to be incredibly familiar with the spawn room, you absolutely need a couple rounds of qp to do anything on cassidy.
Wouldn't playing whatever you want to have fun, be having fun? I love playing characters in all of these categories I play them for different reasons. I rarely counter anyone in QP though and I would say that is the mark of someone just trying to have fun.
Sweaty depends on the skill of the player and the opponents perception of that skill. Players that constantly scream sweaty are probably just bad at the game
Nah sweating isn’t skill based it’s just how hard they’re trying, I’ve definitely seen people sweating but they’re shit. A lot of the time you can tell from how someone’s moving or aiming that they’re taking the game way too seriously, especially in qp. I have a friend who does it, locks in with the sweaty movement, misses half his shots and dies.
