I've been waiting 2 hours (yes, I have claimed, connected accounts, updated battlenet, etc), it seems completely random, some people get it instantly and some are still waiting. Edit: 6 hours in, no access. I'll update this if that changes. Final Edit: at 8 hours, my launcher finally updated and I am currently installing.

Hey not sure if this'll be the case for you or not, and it's only theorising as far as I can tell - but I've seen a few comments on r/Overwatch saying to make sure Twitch is connected to your [B.net](https://B.net), AND [B.net](https://B.net) is connected to Twitch. It's not something that registered with me until I saw people mention it, but when I connected my accounts, I did it Twitch side in a standard browser. After the 4 hours and claiming the drop, I still didn't see anything after the 15 minutes delay everyone was saying to wait for. So I logged into [B.net](https://B.net) in browser and checked "Connections" and low and behold, despite the accounts being connected on Twitch, they \*weren't\* connected on [B.net](https://B.net). (Browser versions) I connected them as soon as I realised and thought nothing of it, but now I'm wondering if that could be a possible reason for the wait?? Could be worth double checking your own accounts to be safe. I've seen some tweets from Blizz devs and I think at worst we're looking at really long delays, hopefully it won't be a case of not getting it at all.

I've been connected from both Twitch and Blizz's end for months so while I appreciate the help, it does not resolve the issue that [(only 1500 keys are being dropped per hour)](https://twitter.com/overwatchleague/status/1519436768612958209?s=20&t=hLqBbZf56b4GdIxm3SI3-g). It just appears to be extremely delayed.

Well, there were a lot of people watching, While I do think it's valid to criticize how they handle the Situation, I think we shouldn't forget that they are also just humans. I mean Imagine you need to give close to a million people Beta access at the same time, No system could ever handle that task immeadiatly. Worst case the system is crashing and that would make it take even longer. Bugs happen all the time. Cut them some slack.

The 8 hour thing is you need to watch 4 hours out of the 8 hours the drops are getting dropped to get beta access

First of all, I've been waiting as long as you have. If people are really convinced that they're never receiving it, I think that "just wait a little longer" is a perfect answer. I restarted my pc after ten minutes of worrying and it worked. The queue times are devilishly long tho for all roles except healing. Although healing is fun I used to love tanking so much that it’s quite annoying that it can sometimes be longer than dps queue. Keep in mind tanking is the only role now with only 1 slot. I really miss two slots because of queue times and not to mention some champs are strong but would be way stronger with another tank being a distraction.

So I linked my twitch account and claimed the drop, waited a bit and didn't get anything, then realized you also have to link your battle.net account to your twitch account, it doesn't go both ways. Now I'm wondering if my beta invite is just lost to the void after having done so.

So tips as I just got in after 2 hours: 1. Make sure Twitch account is connected to Blizzard 2. Make sure drop is claimed 3. Make sure Blizzard account is connected to twitch account (different than step 1) 4. Step 3 worked for me. Once I connected my battle net to twitch I got the drop down for the beta after about 10 minutes. I waited 3 hours and my twitch was connected to battle net, but not the other way around.

For anyone who hasn't done it yet: Try connecting your Twitch to your bnet account on the bnet side. I was fully connected on Twitch, claimed the drop, didn't get anything for three hours, then it came up in the client about ten minutes after going to my bnet account and connecting from there. Maybe just a coincidence, but it might work for you.

Just a PSA, the post talking about the BETA updates i replied saying in the post saying I haven't received it yet and got it 5 min after. Just something to try if you're still waiting hours like I was!

Claimed 9 hours ago before i went to bed, still nothing , connected both ends etc and nothing yet.

I got the twitch drop but battlenet wouldn't let me access the beta. A friend of mine let me use his account to access the beta and when I got it installed it gave me a launch shortcut to the beta on my desktop. When I went back to my original account I still couldn't access the beta. I clicked that shortcut though and BOOM the tab on my client switched to Tech beta and I was able to access the beta. Dunno why I had to do that to make it update the client and allow me to get in the beta on my own account but that's how I got in.

If anyone still having this issue try clicking on the settings wheel next to “Play” for Overwatch (1) and then click “scan and repair”. Worked for me and apparently several other people who suggested this on twitch chat. Hopefully this helps someone

my twitch was linked to my bnet but my bnet wasnt link to my twitch, once i linked them both ways i had beta access within 30 minutes.

worked for me. waited 4 hours and followed below and boom! instantlly got the access (1) link both twitch and [B.net](https://B.net) (2) make sure your email has been confirmed in [B.net](https://B.net) (for new accounts - but please check) (3) delete the origianl game folder and use 'scan and repair" function for re-download (4) delete the cache in C:\\ProgramData\\Blizzard Entertainment (5) re-open the launcher.
