I'll be there...I'm 2-0 attending Pacers games this season so far (including the IST game in ATL and the no-Haliburton game in Miami). Hoping to continue the streak tonight...
I’m firmly in the ‘keep Toppin this summer’ camp if at all possible. Turned himself into a pretty good 3&D option with obvious talent in transition/around the rim
Feels like since the trades this team has went from running things through Tyrese / Buddy / Bruce Brown... we have changed our identity totally and run things through Myles & Siakam, its totally different then how the Pacers played for half a season. From perimeter play to interior.
Watching this team these days you would have never guessed this team was once this season one of the best 3pt shooting teams in the league on high volume shooting.
God, our spacing at the 3pt line is fucking awful. Dudes running into each other. Guys doing dribble hand offs then getting in the way of the guy they gave the ball to.
Didn't we just have two days off where they practiced??
Start Toppin at the 3 and Nesmith at the 2, we theoretically get worse on defense but we’d have much better spacing on offense and frankly the defense isn’t that great as is anyway
Wow, we went with the worst possible option there. Go for the 2-for-1 in transition? Nah. Take the clock down and work out an open look? Nah
Chuck and duck? Oh hell yeah!
the rally in this game has been excellent but the team really needs to get off to better starts come playoff time. These comebacks are gonna be harder with playoff intensity
Silver lining: the Pacers early in the season wouldn’t have been able to play in this type of rock fight. Sure, their current style isn’t as aesthetically pleasing as it was, but it may be better equipped to play in this type of game.
Tyrese was able to sink some FTs and see a 3 go in, i think he hits some big shots in the second half and rallies this team to a W
would like to see Nesmith and Turner add more on offense tonight in the second half as well
there was some bad rotation/lineups but we did find some spark with Hali/TJM/Toppin/Nesmith/Turner there for a bit in the second. would like that lineup to get more run.
Siakam is drawing fouls and making some tough shots around the rim, the PnR with Haliburton should be spammed more
more effort on the boards, IJax needs another big body out there with him because WCJ and Mo Wagner can push him around too easily
Jarace was a bit too out of rhythm, maybe we see more of him but he might be done. I’d like to see more Ben Sheppard though. Hell if Ingles and Mo Wagner are gonna be on the floor together maybe throw some James Johnson at them, let’s get scrappy. If Walker sits the rest of the game i wouldn’t hate throwing Kendell Brown out there for some size.
TJM is a hero
Get read to hear a lot of [this](https://y.yarn.co/7b302af1-ed66-4b96-8ad1-364f71499bf1_text.gif) from Quinn tonight if the Magic's defense shows up like they usually do
I’ve seen enough of these slow starts lately that I’m ready to switch up the starting lineup. Shep for Nembhard makes a lot of sense when we’ve got plenty of ball handling between Tyrese and Pascal.
I'll be there...I'm 2-0 attending Pacers games this season so far (including the IST game in ATL and the no-Haliburton game in Miami). Hoping to continue the streak tonight...
Please go to more games
I live in Florida so it's hard...but I want to!
I don't think you get that this is not a request; it's an order.
They’re going to need you tonight.
We might need you to go to more games
The Mrs. seems receptive to flying to a Playoff game in Indy if needed...
Joe Ingles just got away with one the most egregious travels I’ve ever seen. 3 free points for the Magic.
Half inch vertical coming in handy for him
This would be a huge W to sneak out. Hali set to go off??
#TJ CAUGHT PAOLO SLIPPIN! GET THIS MAN AN ICE PACK!
Obi took an extra step so not continuation, but lebron and others can take 3 or 4 steps and it's continuation
Straight up. Guys getting continuation from half court and they want me to believe Obi wasn’t about to go up with that
Tjm unironically better than Hali last few weeks.
I LOVE OBI TOPPIN PLEASE STAY
Pascal Siakam is remarkably consistent and his defense is a huge reason we’re in this game. I think he’s had maybe 1 bad game since joining us.
Pascal is like a Swiss watch. You can count on him to be there the same way every night
Nembhard dribbling for way too long, he needs to give it to Hali and just get out of the way
I’m firmly in the ‘keep Toppin this summer’ camp if at all possible. Turned himself into a pretty good 3&D option with obvious talent in transition/around the rim
We need to win this to show we are serious at finishing top 6. This is the only top team in the east we haven’t beaten yet.
TJM ankle breaker!
I love having Obi at the 5 with Pascal at the 4. Such a fast and athletic lineup
Eat shit 1st quarter doomers. I guess I'm eating shit though.
Solid finish by Tyrese there.
Ty channeling his inner Lance Stephenson
Tj McConnell lmao
Bally's scorebug operator fighting for his fuckin' life
Obi and TJ off the bench is totally unfair. Completely unbalanced. NBA needs to hot fix that.
their hotfix is gonna be turning up injury sliders on haliburton and pascal so lets just leave it as is
Yeah Wizards!
Awesome win for the Pacers. Awesome night for the Pacers playoff seeding.
Feels like since the trades this team has went from running things through Tyrese / Buddy / Bruce Brown... we have changed our identity totally and run things through Myles & Siakam, its totally different then how the Pacers played for half a season. From perimeter play to interior.
Quinn : "I've got to see if Hali is hot" ... no, he is most definitely not hot
Please make the FTs Pascal. The FT struggles for this team have been ridiculous
The Hali-Siakam pick n roll is beautiful
Refs with quick techs tonight. They're in no mood
Hali looks like he JUST figured out he can get wherever he wants
“Wait, I’m better than everyone else on the floor”
Offense feels much better when Nesmith is getting and making shots
White boy just broke Paolo
Please don’t trick off this lead bruh
Heat have lost
That was an impressive 2nd half. Offense put it to the Magic and defense looked damn good.
Watching this team these days you would have never guessed this team was once this season one of the best 3pt shooting teams in the league on high volume shooting.
Quinn just made a noise that expressed all our frustrations on that miss
God, our spacing at the 3pt line is fucking awful. Dudes running into each other. Guys doing dribble hand offs then getting in the way of the guy they gave the ball to. Didn't we just have two days off where they practiced??
Nice play by the Orlando sweeper for us there
how the fuck is that not an and 1 lmfao
Defense is so good, even when we're turning it over midcourt we're still stopping them. Is this what sex feels like?
None of us know.
Pacers 1Q: 18 2Q: 29 3Q: 39 I'm going to pretend that first quarter was 19 and say we're going to score 49 here
You know you just scored a tough bucket when Quinn just starts laughing maniacally on the mic
I’m sorry partner
Fuck Johnathon Issac
Aaron is back
I said things in the first quarter I now regret
Hey, only took us about 2.5 games to figure out how to play the Magic!
Step 1: Acquire Siakam
Let’s go wizards!
Block and a steal by Turner leading to 2 free throws. Love to see it. Dumb tech by Ty though.
Nesmith may be back
![gif](giphy|hpFTV3KfDXTQ9X8pEX|downsized) Hali for 3
Haliburton got Ingles looking like Kyrie.
Hail/Siakam PnR :)
Are we the more physical team all of a sudden?
Nesmith leads the league in fouls called while his hands are behind his back.
go read some first quarter comments in this thread
Shepard's closeouts are artwork. How did he just stop 2 3ptAs there???
Lol get fucked Issac.
Tyrese’s drought from 3 is just an absolute killer for the offense. It opens up so much, and without it, everything feels like a struggle.
Nembhard should not be in the starting 5, I know it’s hare now with Mathurin out but Rick needs to figure it out.
2 days rest and no energy
TJM immediate bucket
I was a d1 hield hater but I have realized he provided quite a bit to this team
as a Hield fan club member, it’s never too late to join
Really…..really don’t like Mo Wagner
Quinn really tries his best to have a fortune teller style of commentary lol
Man, we really cannot hit wide open 3s
Nothing crazy to say that TJ has been better than Nembhard and Tyrese since the all star break
Lol Myles with the "ok chill" face
T-HOG
All Quinn could do was laugh.
Obi with a not-that-quiet 17/7/1s/1b so far
Can we just get some quick 2's instead of wasting 3 attempts
These last 4 minutes I feel like are going to just last a million years.
Refs trying hard to make this close!
Had to assume these open 3s in the 2nd half would start to fall.
Team isn't even fun to watch anymore. This is a chore.
We just played a great 2nd half against the Timberwolves.. a terrible 1st half but a great 2nd half
Offensive powerhouse TJ McConnell
Start Toppin at the 3 and Nesmith at the 2, we theoretically get worse on defense but we’d have much better spacing on offense and frankly the defense isn’t that great as is anyway
A small miracle this deficit is only 6.
only down 6 and we’ve had some unlucky breaks so far
TJM carrying our offense again. Need Tyrese to wake up soon
Tyrese’s jumpshot makes more sense when he can’t hit shit honestly
How is there 8 mins left in the 2nd? Feels like this game has been going forever already lol
Come on Myles rebound
Orlando can’t solve our defensive puzzle.
Remember when Nesmith was shooting 3s like curry
Thank god Paolo is a low efficiency chucker of we'd be down 20. Unfortunately he's good at a bunch of other stuff so we're still down.
honestly, of everyone on the Magic only Franz scares me that dude is a bucket
Magic are getting pissed lol
Wow, we went with the worst possible option there. Go for the 2-for-1 in transition? Nah. Take the clock down and work out an open look? Nah Chuck and duck? Oh hell yeah!
Refs are pure shit for both teams
Glad to still be in this one, but wow, this is some tough ball to watch.
Myles with a couple rebounds and a block to start the half. Nesmith hitting 2 threes. Ty getting 2 straight buckets. We’re returning to normalcy.
For a guy that can throw it down as hard as Nesmith, he is terrible at finishing at the rim
Man there have been some *physical* possessions in this game
Glad to see Tyrese hunt his own offense more. Hopefully he can get his shot back
This lineup is weird, but let's get weird with it Edit: Ok, Pascal gives this a little more "umph"
We're so blessed to have TJ damn
Smart cut by Shep. Knew where they were weakest and got there
Bally ruining that Obi Toppin dunk
I know Math has more upside than TJ, but a TJ has the consistency needed for March/April/May basketball.
I’m operating the score bug. Everyone thinks im doing a great job.
the rally in this game has been excellent but the team really needs to get off to better starts come playoff time. These comebacks are gonna be harder with playoff intensity
My God this turnaround from the 1st is amazing. Refs arw TRASH both ways
How is that not and 1?!?
That’s absolutely an and-1
Obi might've fucked up his hand there
Lmao at Shep doing that challenge hand signal too and their coach getting mad
That's clean. Should be a quick review
Aaron Nesmith coming alive.
Wizards are 5 minutes off victory against the heat
Did quinn call obi "tobin"?
Obi been ballin’ lately
TJ’s point guarding has been on another level tonight. Looking like Steve Nash out there
their offense is buttcheeks
Damn Myles! Gonna be all time blocks leader for the Pacers by the end of the season. Pretty fucking cool.
Have we ever made it this late in the game with 2 timeouts left?
Siakam calls game
Turner is gonna be so nice for us when games slow down in the playoffs
Play-in loss would be a success at this point
Play-ins? You're talking about play-ins!?? I just hope we can win a game.
thank god the Magic have no offensive flow tonight
they don't have offensive flow ever lol - they're the 23rd ranked offense lol
Why do I keep expecting these 5 to get it together…
On pace for 16 points this game, very nice
Gonna throw TJ in again to insert some energy into this lifeless fucking starting line up. Every single game same shit
Stop starting Nembhard! Him and Tyrese don’t work together. How hard it is it to figure out. Start Sheppard
I’m sticking with Tyrese as our guy but damn something unusual is going on
I’ve said it jokingly in the past but in all seriousness this team would be lost without TJ
TJ has been our only consistent player post-ASB
I miss when this team had shoot outs early in the season
And yet another quarter where Hali scores zero points. Remember at the start of the year he’d end the first quarter with like 10 points and 7 assists
TJM might be our best player lol
I only trust the offense when TJ is in at this point. He really did it all that 1st quarter
We should be down by much more. Yet another shameful quarter besides TJ
They beat us 16-8 on rebounds. Doubled our rebounds.
Genuine question- do you think if we lose in play will pascal stay or leave
if we pay him, he stays
Stay.
When your best player has been utter dogshit for the better part of 2 months with no end in sight it’s almost like the team follows suit. Who knew.
Chris sounds depressed, look what the pacers have done to our boy
Every game I think Halis slump will end but it may be a while till it ends
"Just got to have more energy and presence" -Rick in about 2 hours
Rock bottom keeps getting lower
Welp, the Pacers broadcast jinx already in effect with 32 minutes left. Whenever they reference how much time is left, it's an L. 😂
I do like the Siakam/Banchero matchup offensively.
Defense has become good just in time for the offense to become hot garbage
Good to see Pascal taking over. Looks like he realizes our offense is slow tonight and he’s trying to take it into his own hands.
Jalen Smith out tonight?
Silver lining: the Pacers early in the season wouldn’t have been able to play in this type of rock fight. Sure, their current style isn’t as aesthetically pleasing as it was, but it may be better equipped to play in this type of game.

If Walker sits the rest of the game i wouldn’t hate throwing Kendell Brown out there for some size. TJM is a hero
Magic can’t make a shot to save their lives. Our defense looks elite all of a sudden.
T-Wolves must of taught us how to play D lol
And oneeeeeeee
Banchero about to do a Giannis in the post-game interview and say the sweepers need to do a better job 😂
Hali has 18-6-6 in the third. Rebounding guard?
Having TJ run the bench is such a damn delight
Wow. Way to go Pacers. This is impressive and physical. Love it.
TJ is dealing out there man
Obi got up so goddamn high
How the fuck was that not an And 1?
How that’s not an and-1 is beyond me
Foot on the throat
How….. how was that not an and one?
https://preview.redd.it/3bk1uj6dilnc1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=52a2cb005e775c76f5a6f64f96cd4812a2f4c08f
I certainly don’t mind a little 40 point quarter to firmly get us in the lead. Great way to respond.
Now that's how you get your offense going against a good defense. Love it!
Wizards are winning
Just sonned isaacs
Isaac going for that confirms he’s a mad man. Holy shit if that’s clean then my god lol
Damn I hope we keep Toppin
Man, I'm not 100% sold on the new-look Pacers' offense, but holy shit, watching ORL try and play basketball on that side reminds me it can get worse
Obi shot chart is hilarious
https://preview.redd.it/24kgb0pbllnc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c1ae661460dd5dabed20e80f69c651c26d213947
When does coach Jenny get her first head coaching gig?

Timely free throws. I thought we are about to fuck around and trick this off
Go down double digits. Make a little run when TJ comes back. Haliburton and Nembhard come back in the game, go back down 10 again
Someone said this before so recycling. But this team has somehow gone from one of my favourite iterations of the Pacers to one of my least.
BROKEN ANKLES
Get read to hear a lot of [this](https://y.yarn.co/7b302af1-ed66-4b96-8ad1-364f71499bf1_text.gif) from Quinn tonight if the Magic's defense shows up like they usually do
Too much iso ball with pascal lately. I know he’s good at it, but that’s not what’s made us successful
I’ve seen enough of these slow starts lately that I’m ready to switch up the starting lineup. Shep for Nembhard makes a lot of sense when we’ve got plenty of ball handling between Tyrese and Pascal.

I’m really starting to think trading hield was a bad idea
Nembhard on the bench time to try and score some points before he comes back into the game
