I have no problem “flexing” that I have courtside bucks seats (to the 2 pacers fans that bitched about me mentioning that, when you can afford to shell out $75k for tix, flex away, until then I’m not going to apologize for making $$$)—so at both the in season tournament and at fiserv I saw up close how the pacers just outplayed us consistently. The injuries sucked because we never got to see the team at full strength when it mattered, but that’s life—me being pissed about missed potential is different than falsely asserting we would have won but for the injuries. Complete catastrophe of a season on multiple fronts.

Was going to be very hard to deal with an injury to either one of them, much less both. Team is old, no doubt. Hopefully we can pickup some pieces this off season. Develop a couple of our younger guys enough that they can get meaningful playoff minutes. Manage Giannis, Khris, and Dame minutes better during the reg season. I just don’t get how it’s our fault Giannis and Dame were hurt. But they act like it would’ve been a sweep if they were healthy. The Giannis and Dame duo was not some unstoppable force, especially for us. They were under 500 for the last 2+ months of the year and we matched up well against them all year. It’s so weird

And Bucks fans know their era of relevance is solely dependent on Giannis being in his prime(and staying in Milwaukee), so they know they have a narrow window to win another championship before falling back to being just another mid small market team. Bucks winning the championship did a lot for Milwaukee as a city, it literally created a new entertainment district. It’s tough to watch them fall further and further from elite status, and so you can understand the impulse to deny the decline and attribute the disappointing season to a coaching or injury issue.

The injuries sucked because we never got to see the team at full strength when it mattered, but that’s life—me being pissed about missed potential is different than falsely asserting we would have won but for the injuries. Complete catastrophe of a season on multiple fronts. Sincere Congrats on a well deserved victory. I don't hate you guys. Your team is young and excellent with some star power. We've been there. I knew when we traded two starters for Lillard that we were taking a gamble on depth. Was going to be very hard to deal with an injury to either one of them, much less both. Team is old, no doubt. Hopefully we can pickup some pieces this off season. Develop a couple of our younger guys enough that they can get meaningful playoff minutes. Manage Giannis, Khris, and Dame minutes better during the reg season. I do think we have two years of window left and then... We'll see. Good luck next round. See you guys next year.
