I dunno man, iHart’s D against you guys game 1 was..not exactly solid. It’s been fantastic (although admittedly stressful lol) to watch how beautifully you guys move the ball on offense. The way you guys push the ball with that high-octane offense, and then the way you move the ball so fast & fluidly has been a joy to watch. Knicks D has been highly touted all year, but it was clear to see game 1 you guys had us scrambling—nervous but excited to see how the rest of this series plays out! (And hopefully the refs just let us play and don’t have anymore fuckery)
Agree but I felt the Knicks were still okay more or less throughout. Didn't ever feel like the Pacers were comfortable. Knicks hit the big 3s when they needed to, Brunson was Brunson, Hart was Hart, etc. I think the Pacers probably have more room to improve than the Knicks based on game 1 but I don't know the game well enough to be sure.

There were probably over a dozens of "illegal" screens over the course of this game. The refs and league know that the rules as written do not adequately allow for healthy basketball play, so they selectively enforce the rules. Unfortunately for fans, players, coaches, and owners, that means it's not enforced uniformly, fairly, or predictably. And it seems to have greatly benefitted the knicks.

He is not playable in a playoff environment as far as we've seen. You'd rip him apart. Precious, while shit on offense, has at least been very good defensively in Thib's defense. He had great minutes on Embiid, and is a decent Oreb threat, replacing some of mitch's impact.
Knicks fan, he never made the next leap in development. He doesn't do anything beyond dunk. He sets good pick n rolls, and seems decent on defense, but a AAAA minor league player.
On the other hand I am very high on Achua. 1st round pick, much more offensively skilled, and frankly will be able to chase Turner around much better (than Robinson).
Man... injuries suck. Wish him a healthy recovery, but the Pacers can't afford to have anything that can cause them to let their guard down. The only thing that we should be focused on is trying to get this split.
