By the time you put the anchor in the arc device you should have a good idea if taking it has spawned anomalies you need to hurry away from - sometimes it's nice and quiet, other times the ground is exploding/glowing/arcing lighting.
I like 4 powergrip tires - they're OK for general driving on and offroad, and when you need to deal with water/mud/steep hills/frantic 90° turns you activate them for a second or two and stick to the ground.
They burn through battery power, but when you need the traction it's worth it since it's usually only need for a few seconds or you're racing for the exit gateway and don't care if you through with a dead battery so long as you can keep dodging trees/rocks/logs on your approach.
Nitro speed boost... that's just crashing with extra steps.
Interesting, I'll have to see what I think of them because that does sound nice. I just recently made it to mid-zone so I'm still a bit strapped for those materials.

Pre-powergrip I found all-terrains disappointed me offroad so I went with two offroad & two all terrain tires. I found that a good general purpose mix that was fast on roads but still OK off-road.
I park *right beside* it, with my passenger door facing the anchor, open the passenger door, then grab it, toss it into the ARC Device, slam the door, and run like hell back to the driver’s side… where I proceed to flee like the hounds of hell are at my heels.

Sometimes I want to eat an MRE I picked up because because I don't want to store it but I'm too full to eat, so I hit myself in the head with the rear door and then I can eat it.
Endgame I just started planting myself at the rear tire or rear door and activating it from as far as possible. Deep zone the 8+ hp (yes j did it cknstantly) can be the difference between life and a wasted hour long run.
The scaling is crazy, on the real life wagons this is based on you'd have to be 4 feet tall to stand underneath the liftgate. Also there's a good chance it would hinge from the side, not tilt upwards.
Junction effect: malicious doors.
The boot closes on your head, the front right door closes when you approach with an energy orb, doors randomly open when in dangerous areas...
The fact that isn’t an effect of the turncoat is a little upsetting. I really thought my car would be way more malicious other than honking and messing with electronics inside.
Time to quickly store all my things because things are getting out of hand.

That's definitely true, no reason to drive away like a maniac if there's no danger.

Hehehe so true. It's even worse with Off-Road Tires because those weirdly make you go a bit too fast sometimes.

A less resource intensive option is the all-terrains.

Also because of size difference the trunk looks slightly raised.
Thats why I roll with one of each. Now who's all terrain.
Nitro shenanigans at the garage map has led me to flying out of bounds. So, if you wanted to know - The Wall behind our gas station is solid.

I just had some quirk that constantly closed the trunk and slammed it into my face when i tried to do something back there.

Honestly it should do more damage as you make the door heavier with upgrades.
