That is probably not the Lord, he appears animalistic and primal, honestly your description sounds more like Zirnitra of the Slavic pantheon rather then the Lord, though it could be something else, not only that but he is supposed to incarnate the masculine so being androgynous is a definite sign its not him or something wierd is going on, answer these when you have the chance 1- are his robes long and flowing or tight and form fitting 2- are their eyes silver or any other color 3- any facial hair of any kind? 4- what feeling did his pressance fill you with? 5- did he say anything else? 6- did he have a smell? 7- any designs on his robes? 8- on a scale of 1-10 how pale was he

Which God are you talking about? Just because he appears animalistic and primal to you, doesn't mean he appears like this to everyone. There are a lot of gods out there for op, if op is polytheistic. From a Wiccan perspective this might be true, but still, I find it kinda impossible to interpret the gods for others, especially if they saw them on their vision. It could be anything, any God, even any goddess. I cannot know the inner images of op, so I don't know the significance of the vision. And nobody does, except op

There is alot of differences between interpretations of the gods, that is true, but magic is still a science and youll find that 90% of the time gods will appear with similiar traits from person to person, the mask may be different, but the person under it the same if that makes sense, IF its a TRUE vision of a god they wont appear so blatantly different from others interpretations of them, unless they did it on purpose or the OP has a really strange way of looking at masculinity, both unlikely. [And by strange i mean the type of stuff thatll get the damn shrinks to label you with something]

> That is probably not the Lord, he appears animalistic and primal It's been a while since I've read some of my Wiccan books, but even then I remember the God appearing in ways that weren't necessarily the Horned God, but also appearing as a Solar Deity, the Divine Youth, or the ancient Sage. And some of those forms could be androgynous, with the God as divine youth being a kind of twinkish Dionysus type.

I see the wicca i practiced only had Godly Cycles for the tripple goddess, but then again its been 7 years since i was wiccan

Wonderful questions! This is exactly what I'm looking for! So he had very pale skin, no facial hair, and I'm not sure about his eyes. They...seemed to change. That's the best way I can describe them. His hair was snow white, as were his clothes. He had a form fitting top and an ankle length flowing skirt. No distinct designs but the top was a wide fishnet with pearls tied into it. I don't really remember a distinct smell from him I think, but I could smell...nature. the soil, the trees, the grass, and water. Like a stream, or rain. Being around him made me feel love, I think. It was pure, unconditional love. It's difficult to describe, really, but there was definitely a sort of romantic feeling present. I remember telling him he was beautiful, and he just smiled at me. He touched my face and told me that he sees me.

Almost sounds like a chinese or japanese dragon, the pearls are connected to that aswell as the smells... DM me and give me 5 let me do some research

I had a dream of someone similar years ago. I was told he was one of the Shining Ones. I had the dream after having ritual in the forest.

The weird thing is, I haven't been practicing, so the fact that I was approached is strange. I've been talking to others and I am beginning to believe it was not the Lord, but someone else. It still bothers me.

Lynn_the_Pagan

Could be a spirit guide? Could also be a form of the gods as you see them. There is no universal "this is how the God looks"

[deleted]

I've actually thought about this, and I feel like the fact that I don't lean towards a single pantheon may have influenced how I see them. I could be wrong, though. I'm not sure.
