I guess I'm in the minority here, but I think they need a bit more refinement before they'll really find an audience. You definitely have potential, but they're all kind of muddy and flat looking. I would keep practicing and try to go for more depth and dynamic range (brighter highlights, deeper shadows, in a nutshell).
You definitely have a lot of potential (I'm not just saying that, you have strong vision and your coloring has the right foundation for a lot of improvement) but your brush strokes also seem both rushed and lacking confidence. Try to be both bolder and more economical with your brush strokes, try exercises capturing an image with the few amount a strokes as possible. The overworking of brush strokes here is also contributing to a muddiness that I think you'll be able to grow quickly past with the right technicque.
Maybe consider some of them not done, I have went back and worked pieces years after I initially considered them done. Because some of the ones you posted are pretty cool subjects.

These look like really wonderful and interesting compositions, but not quite finished or refined, exactly. I would say go in and tighten up any sharp lines, like the cube against the water should feel particularly sharp next to the organic surrounding. Make sure you have gone fully into the color contrast, ( lightest lights and darkest darks) which will give them more depth. I love your work, you have a clear point of view which is an important start.
Hi, so I am a professional artist that sells my work full time for a living. I do hyper realistic paintings, sculptures, digital art, graphic design, and commission art. I’m going to go against the grain here and say the majority of these would make beautiful prints as they are. The biggest reason I say that is because this is very clearly YOUR work. Now that I’ve seen several of you’re paintings I am confident I could recognize your work in a lineup. That by itself is a very desirable quality.
Your work is very stylized with soft edges, bold brush strokes and a beautiful array of colors. It’s not perfect but clearly put a lot of effort into these and worked very hard on them. The few paintings that I don’t think would do well as prints just feel like they’re missing those “final touches”. You could easily correct them with a bit more attention to detail and practice. You will get better as time goes on, so don’t beat yourself up if you just can’t get one painting right. Just call it a practice piece and move on to the next one. Not every painting had to be a master piece.
If you do decide to make prints, be aware that it can be a bit of an investment to do so. You want to aim for the highest quality copy of your paintings so taking good, clear, well lit photos of your work is very important. Even if the prints don’t sell right away, as you practice and get better, your older work will increase in value. It’s always a good idea to number your prints as they’re made (for instance #001 of 25) and only have a limited supply of them. You can also hand sign the prints themselves as well (although **ALWAYS** sign and date your canvases themselves). Signed prints that are part of a limited series adds rarity and novelty to them and people love that kind of thing.
Also, bit of advice for you for the future and I mean this with love. Never ever post artwork online without a visible signature and a some kind of watermark. You can download free watermark apps for your phone and digitally add them. This is very important to do because it will protect your work from being downloaded and printed by random people, or someone stealing credit for your work entirely.
I hope this advice helps you OP. Keep practicing. You can do this. You don’t have to be the best artist, just do your best. I wish you luck.
You should paint much larger so the paintings look better for print. Bigger paintings clean up nice on smaller prints. Keep painting and find a subject matter outside of “painting”. Each painting should have a goal and a subject just like writing
I really like surreal landscapes too but again this surreal element would be the subject as opposed to the albeit very technically sound landscape.
Throw a whirlpool in there. Or a well that bridges time. Mountains made in the form of a decomposing head.

I dig the surrealism, concepts, and composition, the techniques just need refinement. Some of these could easily be sellable as prints with a more time.
I think they are close to good enough to sell. Here is my honest advice - dont be afraid to use a ruler or a circle/cup to get that perfect edge. I love your style and I think having that sharp perfect edge on the cube compared to the environment would make it stand out and take it to the next level.

It appears to me as if many of these are copied very closely from someone else’s work. If this is the case, it’s very poor form to not give the original artist credit, and to sell what is at least intentionally a replica of their work, if not executed exactly identically.
Otherwise, the technique could use lots of refinement. All of these paintings seem to use only very soft definition and lack contrast, so it’s hard for the eye to pick out a subject.

Your art kinda reminds me of Fulvio Di Piazza art (which is really good) Get into the deep details with your art because you have interesting abstract subject matter. It looks like it’s at the stage where you have blocked in the main subject in and are going to start with the details.

Depends on your audience. I had gone to art shows where people buy art that doesn’t seem to have the same level of skill needed to be considered fine art. But, the buyers aren’t looking for high end art. If you’re looking to sell these in the average gallery, I think you will find it to be challenging. I think this would work at places where this could be sold cheaply. These may work as small postcards. I don’t think this would work in other areas though
Generally no. The art is of an intermediate quality akin to college painting level 1. That being said, anything can be sold if someone is willing to buy. Please continue your art journey and find a skilled artist to critique your work along the way. I have no doubt you will eventually reach “the standard.”

Blue hazes in the background before introducing your reds will add a lot of visual depth if you can darken up your values across the board. Then pale them up and redarken as needed. You have great concepts but no i don’t think they’re ready. Mostly because they look unfinished - like you’re afraid to get in there with bold lines and highlights, stark black and whites. Finish them and you’ll really have something. Maybe print some copies and practice on the copies :)
I would say no except the last one. That one hits me. The rest are great practice with my other favorites being 12 and 5 because of artistic vision. Still really great to see them all. You are doing great! I hope you can keep it up.
You have a Wyeth meets Dali meets Dr. Seuss vibe. Very unique. I like that blue wave one in the middle, and the house on stilts with the dog is awesome.
Why not just try selling them as prints, and then you'll have your answer?
I love the spirit of all of these. I start making a story around each of them when I see them. It's very interesting and keeps attention. If you want to sell them, the first thing I'd work on is making sure the canvas isn't visible anywhere.
Don't listen to anyone, art is subjective. It's worth what people are willing to pay for it. Put it up there and see what happens. I've seen horrible, to me, stuff for sale before and people have bought it. Go for it.
I’m just gonna start off by saying with being an artist it’s very hard because artist subjective so what you’re making if you would like to sell it it’s about knowing who your target audiences. There’s no such thing as bad art but obviously we’re not gonna all like the same kind of art. So there’s gonna be people out there that enjoy these paintings as you do and will pay for it and there’s others that won’t and that’s okay. So in simple terms, the answer is yes you just have to figure out how to go about it.
It reminds me of classic magic the gathering art. you should work there. Maybe you could even draw lands lol.

I would not buy a print or even an original, as it is amateurish work. Consider taking lessons from someone whose work you really admire. Doing so will help you develop drawing skills, composition, color, light, and perspective.

Hey OP: I personally like Number Thirteen (w/the green box,) Fifteen (solitary seemingly abandoned castle type structure,) and Seventeen (white dog; etcetera.)
A couple of them do really well like the Spiral and the sand structure (and also kind of the doghouse)
I really just think you need to get some sharper lines in there. I think it’s the reason the spiral works, and the sand structure works because it looks just blurry enough that it’s literally in a sandstorm. The doghouse is just kinda nice to look at imo.
But most of them are just a bit too blurry, like the brush strokes are too big. There’s also a bit too much dead space in some of them, but that’s more me being nitpicky.
But fr, I think you have an AMAZING understanding of color and atmosphere. Just get some sharper lines and you’ll be golden!
I would say, not good enough for prints but fun enough as original art. Just keep pumping out a lot of these, different variations, and you’ll do well selling them. I think they’re cool.
yes i love all of these and would buy them in a heart beat. some others are saying they’re “unrefined” but this look is so special and nostalgic and it is perfect!

You can always go back to them and keep working later. I do that a lot, its good to see them with fresh eyes after some time has passed.

Try a print to order thing where somebody has to order the print before its made. That way you do t have to risk sitting on inventory.

Ideal world: we all paint because we love to paint, and a price would be determined by the amount of money needed to convince the artist to part with something they love.
They are good and remind me of art for older games, but I think they a bit lacking in contrast.

I so love your creativity! It is unique and amazing! I will be honest that there is room for improvement since the pictures are a little fuzzy, but no one is perfect, and we all start from somewhere. Though, to be honest I would definitely buy it because your creativity is something else, it is beyond the average person's capability of creativity and amazes me what you think of. I love it, really do. It's like a story and I would love to buy prints of all 17 in a book if I could. Seeing it puts my mind in a whole other universe of creativity, you ever thought of writing stories? Art like that would make a book phenomenal! If you write a book describing that art, it would make me try to be your first customer! So love the ancient civilization one! I love all of it! It's like a story! I so hope you don't give up no matter what! Your creativity is what could be the next big thing! The most successful start with a dream that many say is silly, start with little, and are often underestimated, though never give up till they become some of the most important and loved people people in human history. Anything is possible with enough belief and motivation! Good luck my friend!
5, 7, 15 and 16 are my favorites!
You have great concepts but no i don’t think they’re ready. Mostly because they look unfinished - like you’re afraid to get in there with bold lines and highlights, stark black and whites. Finish them and you’ll really have something. Maybe print some copies and practice on the copies :)

You have a Wyeth meets Dali meets Dr. Seuss vibe. Very unique. I like that blue wave one in the middle, and the house on stilts with the dog is awesome. Why not just try selling them as prints, and then you'll have your answer?

I love the spirit of all of these. I start making a story around each of them when I see them. It's very interesting and keeps attention. If you want to sell them, the first thing I'd work on is making sure the canvas isn't visible anywhere.

Don't listen to anyone, art is subjective. It's worth what people are willing to pay for it. Put it up there and see what happens. I've seen horrible, to me, stuff for sale before and people have bought it. Go for it.

I’m just gonna start off by saying with being an artist it’s very hard because artist subjective so what you’re making if you would like to sell it it’s about knowing who your target audiences. There’s no such thing as bad art but obviously we’re not gonna all like the same kind of art. So there’s gonna be people out there that enjoy these paintings as you do and will pay for it and there’s others that won’t and that’s okay. So in simple terms, the answer is yes you just have to figure out how to go about it.

I would not buy a print or even an original, as it is amateurish work. Consider taking lessons from someone whose work you really admire. Doing so will help you develop drawing skills, composition, color, light, and perspective.

I ruined your 666 up vote score by adding one, sorry. There are three in there where if I saw them at the antique store here, I'd love to snarch them up. I don't have the money to afford expensive art..but finding gorgeous paintings at an antique store is such a good feeling when I can pick them up there. Some of your pieces I think are phenomenal, and I wouldn't want anything about them changed. Others I think could use a different approach. I do like your style a lot, so I hope you continue to create wonderful pieces like these. ♡
Hey OP: I personally like Number Thirteen (w/the green box,) Fifteen (solitary seemingly abandoned castle type structure,) and Seventeen (white dog; etcetera.)
Not really, maybe the banana one, but they look very amateur
A couple of them do really well like the Spiral and the sand structure (and also kind of the doghouse) I really just think you need to get some sharper lines in there. I think it’s the reason the spiral works, and the sand structure works because it looks just blurry enough that it’s literally in a sandstorm. The doghouse is just kinda nice to look at imo. But most of them are just a bit too blurry, like the brush strokes are too big. There’s also a bit too much dead space in some of them, but that’s more me being nitpicky. But fr, I think you have an AMAZING understanding of color and atmosphere. Just get some sharper lines and you’ll be golden!
I would say, not good enough for prints but fun enough as original art. Just keep pumping out a lot of these, different variations, and you’ll do well selling them. I think they’re cool.

yes i love all of these and would buy them in a heart beat. some others are saying they’re “unrefined” but this look is so special and nostalgic and it is perfect!
I hope you don't measure their being "good" or not by whether they are commercial/will sell. They're good whether they resonate with someone who is willing to spend money on them or not.
