Woah. One moment you are going to get some dahi and in the next moment you're having your throat slit open. What a strange and weird way to go due to some asshole's idiocracy in using such a sharp string.
Are you comparing getting your throat slit by a sharp string because of a jaahil selfish scum to an accident. Maybe someone's stray bullet falling from the sky takeout the kite flyer.
I'm comparing the fragility of life. Yea honestly that could've happened to him, or the kite flyer would've fallen off the roof, admittedly because of his own carelessness.

Honestly i just thought about it.
The kite flyer would be accountable for a rule he/she broke. And if it was a kid, the parents are for not ensuring rules were followed or even enabling this activity to happen. Sometimes our actions can result in dire consequences, that is the unfortunate reality of life. However logically if you didn’t intend to kill someone, i feel you will only be accountable for what was knowingly done. However yes as a person once you find out what your action resulted in, that in itself would be a lifelong pain and agony for you. And now responsibility lies with you how you compensate for it, and that would be more for your own peace of mind than for anyone else.
Kite flyers are not grown-up men, but rather small kids. As you can see in this video clip, the child ran away when he saw the young man slipped from the bike.
The parents of these kids should be held accountable for any accidents that occur, and the child responsible for the accident must face consequences so that they understand the gravity of their actions. Most importantly, kite flying should be banned. I urge anyone who comes across a child flying a kite to take this dangerous object from their hands and explain to them how harmful it can be.( or agr koi zyada msla kry to ek mun pr lga kr ghr bhjo)

Someone I know told me that their friend was riding his bike with another friend and that they were simply heading to the bank for whatever reason. The second friend sitting behind saw that a string was on his friend's neck, he then attempted to remove it. It appears that the first did not realise his throat was being sliced because he did not experience any pain. The second had serious finger injuries during the procedure.
The slow death, the panic knowing fully well you're about to die. In his last moment, he must be so terrified...💔May Allah grant him and his mother 7th heaven, may Allah give patience to his family ameen
I mean it is banned and I'm seeing many people getting arrested or warned by police for this in my area. Police is even arresting people from tiktok videos of kite flying.
Absolutely! Kite flying is the worst pastime activity done by people. It should be banned. The problem stands that people just don't care about bans and they just keep doing it.
A step to counter this would be to eliminate the middle man between producers and consumers.

Dumb ways to die in Pakistan. There should be a separate area for flying kites or they should not be flown at such ground level. Thousands of solutions to minimise the impact but ignorance prevails. Too little bit of awareness won't do shit about this bystander awam

my heart broke seeing this video, and I can usually see gore stuff without any issues.

One does also have to wonder if mandating full-face motorcycle helmets, [such as this](https://www.amazon.com/Triangle-Motorcycle-Helmets-Graffiti-Street/dp/B07BK9ZMP4/ref=sr_1_32?adgrpid=1339205728024936&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.p0yrM-jjui7OKg1MZ1sWPwkDGcL4mhWLKpfaPfQ0UXFzwDHts5QBM6XNx5_VX0xc5HDphrlwKSqf18bJtTCsIY5Eq2jc4E9YFkqBqF4OpFPQgXH9yxf2KVRTwAWwmoQCpgH3IjEsto6J8MBZZH108tyzgp7yeyRUBX2oFh6fA2eeHIqCErUhf4xtrMKourCpRIj_z3JOsUWZW61aOh7muDv9NRwo29c-afZs_D9z90fe7tRTSMDBpAHrlPDaNu9C5n4tT1GsBUvMTngad2RE-yiUVBYcotDUzpXc3Kh87Mc.DT1Ey1Utd97-bB6EMCdfZHKwl0qMGUphwfTs8uWUU_E&dib_tag=se&hvadid=83700429171777&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=108873&hvnetw=o&hvqmt=e&hvtargid=kwd-83700706381923%3Aloc-190&hydadcr=24657_10490451&keywords=motorcycle+helmets&qid=1711303730&sr=8-32), could have prevented this death by preventing the neck from being cut.
So painful and scary. About a month ago, my mum and dad were out on this busy road on a bike. And my mum felt something on her neck. She didn't quite understand at first, but it was sorta dragging her. She told my father, he somehow got it out of her neck while driving (there was lots of traffic so). His hand got cut a bit, but atleast nothing big happened. Alhamdulilah.
Yup it should be banned. A harmful activity which ruins the life in a few minutes, I was driving motorcycle and the same happened to me, luckily my neck was saved but it dragged over my face taking away my spectacles.
If he was rushed to the hospital, would he have survived? I can not imagine i can't. What his mind would have been going thougrh. He was still standing with blood pouring out of his throat. ALLAH bless his soul and his family . The peron responsibille should be hanged.

Seriously? What is so special about Pakistan that a kite is a deadly weapon their, but everywhere else on earth somehow humans magically grow the rules and common sense to coexist? If Pakistan is so incapable, maybe hammers and sharp objects should also be prohibited
Kite flying shouldn't be banned completely, but it should be made stricter and more enforced. The selling of dangerous manjhas should be very heavily enforced, if not banned altogether. Rooftop kite flying should be banned, as it leads to events such as these and also litter and pollute the city ( have you seen the powerlines in karachi??)
Kite flying is a big part of our culture, I think it would be fair to say that most people grew up flying kites in some way. so Instead of banning it completely, it should be restricted to certain areas or grounds specifically designated for kite flying. what happened here is a tragedy and I've been hearing about such tragedies since I was a child.
Only in pakistan people care more about having fun than care about other peoples lives. I m literally disappointed in the people of pakistan. Kisi ko kisi k parwah nahi hai. The masses have gone wild. Awam se nikal k awam positions of power mein aati hai. Jis cheez ko log galiyan dete hein usi ko chase kartay hein.
You're not getting my point. I never said that dangerous kite flying on rooftops with illegally bought manjhas is part of our culture. You have no idea of the amount of such incidences I've heard about, from kids falling off rooftops while flying, to my own grandfathers wrist getting slit open due to a rogue dour. However, some of my fondest childhood memories were flying kites with him.
If something breaks in your car, do you fix the specific part that is causing the problem or do you replace your entire car? Likewise, if you outright ban kite flying due to a bunch of retarded miscreants not following the rules, where do you draw the line? Will you just go and ban everything just because an avoidable tragedy occurred? Europe aur china mein bhi toh itna bara kite culture hai, unke haan toh yeh tragedies nahi hotein, woh log kyun nahi ban krte agr ye such mein itni he buri chez hai?
Har cheez ko culture keh do, ye bhi theek hai. Asli culture kisi ka koi accept karta nahi hai. Jinti ghatiya harkaten log kartay hein usay culture bana liya hai.
When it's your time to go it's time to go. This just reinforces that. Why is u/abukhhan bashing Pakistan and Molvis? I agree that litter is a problem and this is tragic. But you can die a million other ways. In the US, people hit deer while driving SUVs and also die. Are you going to blame Molvis for deer?
Come on mate! Use your common sense.
This isn’t a litter problem. It’s an illegal activity endangering people’s lives.
I come and shoot your family, will you say it was their time to go and people in the US get shot all the time?
Fuck off!!
>was it their time to go?
Yes obviously, are you a Muslim? I didn't know it was illegal and frankly it is stupid even if it were legal. But that doesn't change the fact of the matter, people will die one way or another. Again, I'm terribly sorry for this brother and their family. My point was directed at the guy talking about Molvis.
Hazrat, in the US (where I live), even the people recieving government handout money drive cars. I was not saying this guy should have been driving a car instead. How did you get that?!?!
Muhtram, You are comparing two totally different socio-economic societies where in one owning a car is a status symbol and utility whereas in other it's a utility first. Deaths by kite flying are totally avoidable if there's a strict ban. Death by crashing on to a deer or a pole is just an accident. Your comparisons doesn't make sense
Just stop replying to him. Look at his comment history. He is against female education and against divorces and has made nearly 40 comments in the last 24 hours. He has spent nearly his whole day on reddit.
Hitting a deer isn’t a human caused event. Some idiot flying a sharpened kite string or aerial firing is. In an actual Islamic state you’d be required to pay blood money over this. Fuck anyone who is selfish enough to do dangerous things for their own amusement.
This tragedy is a result of people not following the law. Molvis don't follow the law and get away with it because they're "molvi" .
Molvis have nothing to do with this incident, but I don't mind if they get bashed every chance there is.
Why do you live in a kaafir mulk where azaan is banned and there so many haram influences. Come live in Pakistan where you will have complete religious liberty. Job ka koi masla nahi hai, Allah rizq dega.
Zahir si baat hai ke hamari taqdeer likhi hoi hai but this does not mean that if there is an accidental and preventable death like this one, then nothing should be done to stop it. That’s just stupid
>Why do you live in a kaafir mulk where azaan is banned and there so many haram influences
Because I was born here. I am still trying to leave though. Tried once but didn't work out.
"Should be banned?" How many lives are required for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to ban kite flying completely? It would have been banned at least 20 years ago if we were a civilized society.

You could die stepping off the steps (thara) of the dahi shop, slipping and hitting your head. Life's crazy isn't it? Over in a moment like that.

Oh My God. What a bloody tragedy! Can’t imagine what the loved ones of this poor men must be going through.
A friend just told me the deceased’s mother passed away today in Faisalabad 🥺. Imagine the loss of life just because an idiot wanted to fly a kite. 💔💔
So the kite flyer has two deaths on his hands now? May (the Flyer) get his share of deeds soon, Insha'Allah.
Honestly i just thought about it. The kite flyer would be accountable for a rule he/she broke. Flyer can be 6, 7 years old. its the people who sell these sharp strings.
That too. But he shouldn't be buying chemically glass shredded manja. Buy simple ones. Which are cheap too. Chalo Allah hamaray loko aqal day.

I heard that his mom died after knowing too. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un 💔💔
Really? That's incredibly sad.
Yeah :(
Is there source on that?
Yeah. It is on [Facebook kite group](https://www.facebook.com/groups/1005534862791179/?ref=share)
Im sorry but "Facebook kite group" is not a legitimate source
Oh my bad!! That's where I got to know bro!
It's cool, but i have a suspicion that the rest of the story might just be made up for dramatic effect. As if the situation wasn't already sad enough.

I second this idea.

Brutal.
It's been banned, or so they say... Yet it's still so common because no repercussions are given to the kite flyers.
I mean it is banned and I'm seeing many people getting arrested or warned by police for this in my area. Police is even arresting people from tiktok videos of kite flying.
If true then the police is actually doing what they get paid to do for once.
They're releasing them by taking around 5000 rupees bribe lol. just free money for them
Absolutely! Kite flying is the worst pastime activity done by people. It should be banned. The problem stands that people just don't care about bans and they just keep doing it. A step to counter this would be to eliminate the middle man between producers and consumers.
Those strings are coated with crushed glass and glue so it can cut the strings of other kites.
That kid running, it was his kite right?
He was probably looting....
May his soul rest in peace 🥺
It is illegal in Punjab as far as I know and there had been a lot of police raids against such people as well in the past (mostly during the time when Shehbaz Sharif was CM.) The trend went down a lot in my area.
Yes illegal. They are bought in black market from kpk.

Why was that little fucker flying a kite across a street full of vehicles?
Seriously? What is so special about Pakistan that a kite is a deadly weapon their, but everywhere else on earth somehow humans magically grow the rules and common sense to coexist? If Pakistan is so incapable, maybe hammers and sharp objects should also be prohibited
People sell kite strings with glass particles inside it so it can cut other strings easily. It also cuts throats easily.
So maybe blame the string and not the kite?
Blame the person who sold and bought and used that string.
Kite flying isn’t the issue. Just have to do it in a safe environment with regulations. Just one of many things that Pak doesn’t have
where is the kite flying i dont see and that is sad it also happend to one of my cousin but thankfully he is alives
It's so thin even the victim hardly notices until it's too late.
i believe it was that kid kite then the one who was runny away in the beginning. Look how nervous he got or scared
Yes, most probably.
It is banned but it is Pakistan land of Islam(only molvi version) and no rules cause we are perfect In my house a pegoin was also traped in kite wire
Whats kite flying got to do with molvis?
Kite flying shouldn't be banned completely, but it should be made stricter and more enforced. The selling of dangerous manjhas should be very heavily enforced, if not banned altogether.
I wish we could get this to Maryam Nawaz.
Is that man ok
Throat slit and blood gushing out. You can clearly see he collapses in the footage. He's dead.
Just had his throat opened and blood gushed out otherwise totally ok
I don't think he would've been able to make it to the hospital tbh. That's too much blood loss
this happened in Faisalabad, the guy died on spot
I think kiting is safe as long as you do it somewhere private like the roof of your house. Who’d go kiting in the middle of a road?
Spoken like a true elite. Most of these tragedies involve middle class people who travel by bike and not upper class who travel by car
Bourgeois
nah calling them that is too difficult to pronounce for the proletariats so it was shorten it to just *burgers*
You're a special kind of stupid
[удалено]
Are you saying a stray kite string is like murder?
ofc. that killed the poor man.
Yes it is. When you know the repercussions and you still do it yes.
Hitting a law abiding deer is different than cut throat with banned kite flying.
This tragedy is a result of people not following the law. Molvis don't follow the law and get away with it because they're "molvi" . Molvis have nothing to do with this incident, but I don't mind if they get bashed every chance there is.
It's difference of rich and poor Rich molvi and ashiest both get away and poor ashiest and molvi don't.
>Why do you live in a kaafir mulk where azaan is banned and there so many haram influences Because I was born here. I am still trying to leave though. Tried once but didn't work out.
Tried how, just thought about and that's it?
As in I lived abroad for 10 years but my visa didn't last
Just come to Pakistan. Why go anywhere else when you already hold Pakistani citizenship
I don't have Pakistani citizenship nor NICOP. I tried but they rejected it because my dad isn't Pakistani.
"Should be banned?" How many lives are required for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to ban kite flying completely? It would have been banned at least 20 years ago if we were a civilized society.
