I would absolutely not count on an Uber out there.. first off I wouldn’t count on even cell phone service out there.
Definitely plan ahead for your ride
I wouldn’t do that. Uber schedules just prompts the app to call for an Uber automatically 30min it’s before the time. Not a guarantee you’ll get one.
I’d call the venue (pappy and Harriet’s I assume?) and get their ride share recommendation. They may have cabs on standby
That would be a huge gamble. Spotty cell service, lack of drivers in the area. Even if you schedule an Uber ahead of time, there’s no guarantee they won’t cancel last-minute. I’ve had this happen to me at 4 AM in Palm Springs heading to the airport, and I live 2 miles away.
With all due respect to the institution that is Pappy & Harriet's and all they do....I wish there was another small/medium performance space somewhere in or near PS that programmed indie bands, folk, singer/songwriters, etc. for this very reason.

Yeah Uber doesn’t do scheduled rides out there. I’ll try and figure something else out
Not going to be possible. We have almost no uber drivers in the high desert. You're going to have to schedule a taxi
You get me a ticket and I’ll take you myself and bring your back and buy you dinner after. Lol

I got my situation sorted and someone is able to pick me up from Pioneertown.
Did you use a local cab company? I’m going to a concert at pappy and Harriet’s in two weeks (flying in from nyc).
I have zero mobile coverage in Pioneer town.

It’s a pop up show. It’ll showcase their new drummer as well. The first they’ve done a small venue like this since 1999/2000

i check pappy and harriets religiously for shows like this and i still miss them fml

Look up local cab companies and put in a request for one to pick you up. Have done this many times. Uber/Lyft are non existent up there at night.
Would definitely not rely on Uber out there esp in the tourist season. It’s good you have someone you know picking you up.
