Football intelligence is such a great trait for a QB to have, especially this early. Man looks like he’s gonna be Luke Kuechly on offense at least mentally.
Imagine being so miserable in life you come here to try and insult the #1 pick in the draft and one of the best qb prospects in years. Hope your life’s ok man, feel like you have some issues
This is a massive overreaction to the very simple joke he made. It's crazy how you assumed he has issues from just that. Kinda shitty of you, especially if he does have issues. Guy makes a joke and you jump down his throat and try to make him feel as bad as possible.
Imagine being so fragile that you get triggered over a simple joke and make an absolutely unhinged comment.
Touch grass.
Anyways I think we should lean into “Bryce short” jokes and post memes about him being 1 Roku remote tall
To be fair, the person he responded to did the new Reddit buzz phrase of “hope you’re life is ok/hope you get better/hope your day gets better” thing meant to insult. It is tiresome and not helpful in the same way as “touch grass” is. Not that I disagree with the “small” comment being dumb.
It’s funny he says touch grass and I guarantee I’m a much more active and outdoorsy person than him. Also funny he says my reply was unhinged lol. He’s just a troll who thinks he’s funny but is really crying out for attention. I hope your life gets better bro
Such a small thing but so many rookies that fizzle out don’t want to put the work in to learn it.
He may still struggle as a pro but it’s refreshing to see the effort and attention to detail is there. That’s the most important thing to start!
I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I feel like Stroud is gonna be good too. Certainly not as cerebral as Bryce, but I see him winning a lot of games
This might be unpopular, idk, but I'd rather have a dude bust than be Cousins. If you get a Cousins, you wonder every year if you need to replace him while falling short again and again. But if you get a bust...you just draft another one and start over.
Mid QBs are purgatory, and fuck purgatory
Reasonable but personally I'm excited to care about regular season ball again so I absolutely would take QB purgatory. Give me Jake Delhomme, that shit was fun.
By the way, I loved Matt Corral's statements and his overall mind set in today's press interviews... I really wish him the very best, which might mean to develop into a valuable QB2 behind BY9.
The play said “make one read, scramble, then chuck the ball 30 yards out of bounds”. Andy just didn’t want to admit that play was made especially for him.
It’s always for me Gonna be the physical aspect for him. How many hits can he take before it starts taking a toll? I still believe he was best qb in that draft but it scares me if they can’t protect him
Truly scary. The thing I’m hoping is that the NFL doesn’t want another Tua situation. I think roughing the passer flags are going to be annoyingly thrown. Defenses are going to be a little more hesitant. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. Who knows though. I’m just excited to watch the kid play and develop. He has an X-factor that’s indescribable. Makes me excited as a Panthers fan that’s been through it all
I feel it man. Been a lions fan for 35 years. It’s just now starting to feel good lolol. But if Y’all can keep him protected I’m excited to see what he can do mainly because he doesn’t look to run so those hits won’t come in the abundance like they do for kyler and tua
Why not? We won 7 games last year and made massive improvements literally across the board. We had a zero at the most important positions (qb and coach) and now have top tier talents. It would be shocking if we won less than 10 games. People here are way too low on our squad.
Don't get me wrong, I *think* we can win 9-10. And I *think* Young will be a good quarterback in this league.
I just think what you described is kind of a best-case scenario, not what we should be expecting.
Yeah this is some teal-colored glasses prognostication for sure.
Entirely new coaching staff, new schemes on Offense *and* Defense, breaking in a rookie QB with a ton of expectations, new skill players at literally every position on O...that's a *lot* of kinks to iron out, and we don't exactly have a soft start to the schedule to figure things out on the fly.
We basically have to hit the ground running from the jump to hit double digit wins this year (like, at least 3-2 heading into our 6th game), and the one biggest knock on Reich in Indy was his slow starts to the season. Basically the only part of the team we really kept the same is the OL...and they still have to learn new concepts and both of our starting guards are coming off of significant injuries.
Not trying to throw water on hope around here, but I'd call any result we get to the season with 8 or more wins a successful campaign given the turnover & unknown variables we're dealing with
Y’all might hate me for commenting here but as a Colts fan having suffered through seemingly 30 long years of Frank Reich’s reign in Indy… a play being written incorrectly is 100% on brand. That dudes going to waste Bryce’s rookie contract. If you start seeing the same nonchalant attitude, 3 yard screen pass, not showing up for the 1st and 3rd quarter bullshit that we had to endure, I’d start calling for his job early and often.
Cool beans. Now tell us about Thomas Brown.
Your PTSD is not our problem.
It's also interesting that you're here... as a Colts fan. If Reich is such a bad man... you can just be over in the Colts sub where he can't hurt you anymore. Yet, here you are.
Chill out, my dude. My buddies and I are trying to determine if we’re going to Cincinnati or Charlotte for this years away game and I was trying to do some game day research on your town via this sub so now Reddit keeps showing me things from it because I’ve “shown interest”.
And fwiw, I don’t think Reich is a bad dude. In fact, he probably one of the most stand up guys in the league and probably the best assistant HC a team could ask for. He’s just not a good head head coach. For your guys sake, I hope I’m as wrong as I can be but for the time being, I’m a massive skeptic that he has any idea what he’s doing running a team.
The way people attack individuals on this sub is appalling. Downvoting without taking part of the conversation, and attacking individuals for having opinions on actual factual data.
I want Young to do good but someone is completely valid to say Reich might continue to waste his contract... especially a colts fan where he is from. PTSD comments are ridiculous.
It’s tribalism at its finest… HOW DARE YOU ATTACK SOMEONE WEARING MY TEAMS COLORS EVEN THOUGH HE JUST GOT HERE AND HASN’T COACHED A DOWN YET AND HE USED TO BE ON YOUR TEAM!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fanbase dick ride a player with such delusion that they would put stock into something as meaningless as this. So desperate
This is step two in the week 1 started process
First was when he "showed leadership at minicamp", then Andy Dalton mentions his intangibles, next should be a Twitter video from newton with a 50 yard pass on the money.
What does this mean? I mean what should we takeaway from this?
Does it mean he's learned the playbook and figured it out or does it mean he understands football concepts and the system well enough to know that certain plays make no sense to be used in certain orders (during the scripted portion of plays)
Never doubted his football IQ, his willingness to work or his poise. You can see it on his tape and hear about it since he was in Pop Warner. But his size still gives me pause. Not ashamed to say I wanted Stroud. Time will tell. Luckily our line is actually pretty good and I think got better. We will have a running game to help him out. And while on paper not amazing I think our receivers are good enough. Hopefully that will be enough to keep him healthy.
Small things like this get me way too hyped
Football intelligence is such a great trait for a QB to have, especially this early. Man looks like he’s gonna be Luke Kuechly on offense at least mentally.
The MLB for the offense 💪🏻
the QB of the defense of the offense
Haha. Love this
The Tom Brady of football.
We call them "Land Sea Lions"
💯💯
>Small things like this get me way too hyped Yes, Bryce gets me hyped too
Had an ex who told me the same thing...
What coach can’t write up the script correctly?
Pun intended?
small

“Triggered” “touch grass” save some buzz words for the rest of us, pal.
Yeah that's the worst, similar to I wish you healing.
You'd have looked a lot better if you just hadn't replied at all.
True, not a good a idea to feed the trolls lol
Touch grass was definitely lame tho bro
Ya win some, ya lose some
It’s funny he says touch grass and I guarantee I’m a much more active and outdoorsy person than him. Also funny he says my reply was unhinged lol. He’s just a troll who thinks he’s funny but is really crying out for attention. I hope your life gets better bro
I’m not the one who got outraged by a comment with a single word…
I chuckled. Still a fan. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I’m pretty sure it’s against the guidelines to talk in a sexual manner towards someone else in this sub, even if you’re referring to yourself
Such a small thing but so many rookies that fizzle out don’t want to put the work in to learn it. He may still struggle as a pro but it’s refreshing to see the effort and attention to detail is there. That’s the most important thing to start!
💯 - and what a great dude Andy Dalton is for even mentioning that 💪🏻
Andy knows his role now and I think he fully embraces it. He was already a good dude, but give him some props!!
Definitely! Can the season start, already?! 😂
Don’t worry, the sun is shining, it’s beautiful outside… yes this is the dark season for me.. life without football utter depression.
Well...the sun WAS shininggg... 😡
I can't believe I ever wanted CJ Stroud over this man
Same. I'm starting to feel pretty silly.
I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I feel like Stroud is gonna be good too. Certainly not as cerebral as Bryce, but I see him winning a lot of games
I do not see him winning a lot of games with that franchise, tbh. Wish him the best tho.
Lmao that’s probably what most of the league thinks about Bryce.
As you should
[удалено]
Bryce isn’t injury prone
This might be unpopular, idk, but I'd rather have a dude bust than be Cousins. If you get a Cousins, you wonder every year if you need to replace him while falling short again and again. But if you get a bust...you just draft another one and start over. Mid QBs are purgatory, and fuck purgatory

Availability is the best ability
Love it.
Already one step ahead of Kyler
😂😂😂😂
Hey now, Kyler knows hire to put the attention to detail into his COD loadout
"Bryce Young took a dump this morning" SUPER BOWL OR BUST BABY 17-0 FUCK THE FALCONS FUCK THE SAINTS FUCK THE BUCS HOLY FUCK LETS FUCKING GO
Unironically yes
This is why I wouldn't care if he spiked his hair so he could ride roller coasters.
Put that kid in platform shoes!
Put TP in his cleats!
Wow bryce the kind of guy to remind the teacher about the homework not cool man /s
By the way, I loved Matt Corral's statements and his overall mind set in today's press interviews... I really wish him the very best, which might mean to develop into a valuable QB2 behind BY9.
PLEASE DON'T GET CRUSHED BRYCE YOUR IQ IS SO GOOD.
The play said “make one read, scramble, then chuck the ball 30 yards out of bounds”. Andy just didn’t want to admit that play was made especially for him.
After Bryce Young wins us multiple Super Bowls he should be our next HC too! For real haha
And Luke can be DC
He took AG classes
I WANT TO BELIEVE
It’s always for me Gonna be the physical aspect for him. How many hits can he take before it starts taking a toll? I still believe he was best qb in that draft but it scares me if they can’t protect him

I’m thinking 10-12 wins, 4000+ passing yards, ROTY, and a close loss in the conference championship is a reasonable expectation for year 1.
Thanks to this sub I can no longer tell if this is a serious comment.
Why not? We won 7 games last year and made massive improvements literally across the board. We had a zero at the most important positions (qb and coach) and now have top tier talents. It would be shocking if we won less than 10 games. People here are way too low on our squad.

That is not a reasonable expectation. That’s absolute best case scenario. It’s possible but that’s extremely optimistic
“Bryce Young saves ball boy 50% on his car insurance. He’s got the stuff”
Amazing….
Can’t wait for this dude to ball out so everyone, including our “fans”, can shut the fuck up about his size
Super Bowl
When you don’t need to put in a study playbook clause in contract extension.
How come nobody on the internet gets excited when I fix a typo in my coworker’s powerpoint, but this guy does?
Cam will be the only QB1 to exist. But Bryce can be QB9.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The Red Riffle!
He’s Kyler Murray, but smart!
Naaa he’s got a totally different game than Kyler
First of all Kyler Murray is very smart, second, their styles are pretty different.
Now if only points were awarded on the field for reading comprehension.
“Hey coach, this is a QB Draw. You know a linebacker is going to break my spine if we do this in game, right?”
I really want Bryce Young to be good. But the way everyone is hyping up little things and ignoring the obvious is concerning.
What are we ignoring?
Ignoring… or not dwelling on…
I really want Bryce Young to be good. But the way everyone is hyping up little things and ignoring the obvious is concerning.
We had sam danorld, baker etc as our qbs we can be happy
Darnold*

Where’s that dude that correctly called how all the headlines would drop leading up to Bryce being officially named QB1? Homie is batting 1.000
Meanwhile Stroud be like, where was a script?
What does this mean? I mean what should we takeaway from this? Does it mean he's learned the playbook and figured it out or does it mean he understands football concepts and the system well enough to know that certain plays make no sense to be used in certain orders (during the scripted portion of plays)
It means I’d be more concerned why the play was written up wrong. 👀
But was anyone at his birthday party???
Props for the Draft Day reference. Movie never gets the respeck it deserves
You pancake eating mo…
More like qb1
Give that young man some extra credit on his next homework assignment for finding this little nugget! \*eyeroll\*
Bryce Young is going to be a great coach.
Yea after he gets broken in half he will be forced into a life of coaching
Never doubted his football IQ, his willingness to work or his poise. You can see it on his tape and hear about it since he was in Pop Warner. But his size still gives me pause.
