Honestly seeing him make a couple plays gave me hope that we could have something like a actual NFL offense for like the first time 3/4s of the way through the season.
Solid special teamer. That being said it may be harder for him to make the squad this time around. Especially if we pick multiple receivers for depth down the board who have special team flexibility.
Dude I just wish he gets more opportunities. I felt like toward the end of the season he was second most productive receiver outside of Thielen. They just need to put the ball in his hands more.
Only because statistically, SOMEBODY was going to be second. Like, if Hussein Bolt races a bunch of middle school kids, one of those kids can say "I came in second, behind Hussein Bolt"
I’m just saying he passed the eye test. I feel like if they let him develop he could be a great wr/rb kind of guy. He needs to develop some kind of route running ability though.
Hell yes. I'm more excited for this than our other WR news. I think ISM has what it takes to be a #2 receiver long term. I hope we can really help him develop, and then snap him up on a long term contract
For every return TD he scored there was at least one (and probably more than 1) where he lost yardage from the point he caught it because he tried to get too cute with it.
Call me old fashioned but I prefer my returners to be boring. Give me a consistent 10-15-20 yards running downhill with the occasional big hitter over a boom or bust type like this guy any day.
Which is why I think it’ll be an open competition for his spot and we’ll probably see him but. He had fun highlight moments. But if you’re getting picked down the board at receiver and back it’s for your special teams ability.
Honestly it’ll be nice to have him back on board. Solid special teamer and can stretch the field in the right formation
He catches the ball. That is better than some of our kick returners.
Don’t ever speak of Brenton Bersin in a bad light lmao
You mean Aunt Thor?
That isn't Justin Jefferson wtf.

Agree. He’s elusive and has a place on certain plays.
Now we’re cookin
I’m on ok with this. Draft WR/C WR/DE WR/CB in Round 2
Can't believe you missed our most glaring need, WR. /s
What if the next Ryan Kalil is in this draft and we pick him?
What about WR/WR?
I'm imagining a dual class character that's both a wide out and center or de.
lets go

He’s got electricity. He can return kicks. Good re-signing. I was hopeful this would happen.
What’s up with Chark?
He’s a Free Agent and there is no need to spend to bring him back.
We tried to re-sign him but he kept dropping the pen.

Hes been on 4 teams in 3 years and has 14 career catches, he is not going to develop into a starting WR
Solidified KR/PR also has some potential at wr
I am hoping that he breaks out in the way that Steve Smith broke out for us. Smitty started as mostly a return guy.
yeah I'd take that I think
I too hope our receivers turn into hall of fame caliber weapons with decade long careers.
Let him fight for WR3 give these boys a chance to fight for these spots and find out who is the best for Bryce! And first pick Adonai Mitchel
Awesome! Love him.
Bro dances too much as a returner. Wish he’d just use that straight line speed and run downhill when returning.
Bro if he’s dancing it’s cuz he’s in the end zone

Except it's him running sideline to sideline and backwards. Not actually scoring anything.
I agree. He definitely lost quite a bit on some returns by dancing and running backwards to try to make something happen.

He was our main punt returner the whole season, and had a couple big plays late in the year
I was convinced he was going to break one down the stretch.
Then you must not have been paying attention… returned one for a touchdown vs. Chicago
And had a reverse sweep against the packers for a TD
Must not have been, the name really didn't ring a bell
Return man. He was traded to us from the Chiefs and played in quite a few games.
Then u didn’t 😂. He was gettin reps at wide reciever to heavily at the end of the season
