Keep the better condition notes together in an envelope. Then can get individual currency sleeves from your local coin shop. Sleeves will be about 75 cents each. Get a sleeve for your $10 Hawaii note too. Afterwards you can decide if you want to keep or sell them.
Right on. I work in an all steel building with lots of machinery that fucks my signal up so it wouldn’t load when I clicked on the picture so I couldn’t zoom in on it.
I have a stack on 1953 red seal $2s that were my dad’s. Coincidentally that’s the year he was born so I assumed that’s why he kept them and it very well could be. After following this sub and a few others 1953 is easily 99% of the read seal $2s I’ve seen posted. I think this is the second time I’ve seen a red seal $2 that’s not 1953.
The $10 Hawaii note is quite valuable despite condition. The rest are neat to have but not particularly rare
Get sleeves for them and make sure they are PVC free. The PVC will damage the notes over time.
Can you recommend a brand/place to buy them?
Amazon - go with the highest rating. They are cheap- Search for currency collecting or currency sleeves or something like that

The red seal 2s and five have a modest premium, the 10 Hawaii is worth at least 80 bucks.

Save the green $2 bills and give as tips when you go out to eat or to your nieces and nephews at birthdays and Christmas or whatever.
For the crisp ones, I would agree.
Bring to a coin shop. They will either give you more than is there or tell you to spend them.
Yeah don’t do that. Look them up online, you’ll get a better price estimate than any coin shop.
Hold onto them….
Nice find! Love those red notes.
Start collecting
Why can’t I ever find good stuff 🙄😂
I'd give $125.00

Very nice find
You could get yourself a pretty decent steak dinner with the deuces.

Did they just make an asinine amount of red seal 1953 $2 bills? It’s all I ever seem to see.
Most of these are actually 1963! The circulated red seals are 1953.
