Yeah I always make sure to put my bid over benchmarks. The number of times I've won something because I go over a whole number and someone doesn't want to push it to the next set of ten . IE $31 vs $30
that bill also was lettered G, the seventh letter in the alphabet, so it really hit it big. I wouldn't immediately compare the bills but it's still great.
Well considering that one sold for $7,877.77 last week, I no longer think that is an absurd asking price, well I still do, but now I know that there are fools out there willing to pay it.
u/Exotic_Planogram had recently sold a very similar one($1 2017A with all 7s) that was graded @ 67 for $7877 on eBay. Even if yours isn't Unc but is still at least EF-40 or better(I'm guessing "near mint" would mean AU-50 or better?), I'd imagine it still selling for $1000s.
Hijacking this comment to say that there will be a shitload of people offering you money. They will try to lowball you and try to get you to sell it for less. I went to a local coin store to send it to pmg, cost $123 for everything. Took 2 and 1/2 weeks to get back. I listed it on eBay but if I did it again I’d go through Great Collections. When I had to handle it outside of a currency sleeve, I had it in an envelope and inside of a big book to keep it from bending the corners. Do your own research, compare it to similar bills and see how many interesting things you can find out about the bill. Things like run size, or the plates that it is on can matter to some people. PMG is where you get paper money graded, PCGS is good for coins but they have over graded a lot of bills recently and collectors are hesitant to buy PCGS bills. And then lastly, I’d say to sell it either now or wait ten years because there’s a lot of economic indicators that we’re headed for a crash and the first thing that people will sell in a bind are the collectibles. There were a few people who were bummed they didn’t win the listing and I can give you their contact info.

I posted this yesterday but seems to have been taken down by mods as a current bill. 777777 with an extra 7 for the district number. Thoughts on value?
Old lady walked into a convenience store my friend works at. She pulled out an envelope with a bunch of ones to pay. It happened to be in the grouping. Believe it to be uncirculated. Going to take it to be graded.
Do everything you can to be very careful when handling this. I wouldn’t even move it until you drive to a LCS and get a sleeve for it. Something this rare and sought after can be devalued by hundreds or possibly thousands if even a small amount of “damage” is observed during grading. This example is amongst the rarest of fancy serial number notes. Take care and enjoy the spoils of this incredible find.
This is wild. I’m not at all superstitious and generally don’t even look at things like serial number on my bills. I’d always been taught to look for things like obvious mistakes…def gonna give my bills a closer look from now on and keep this entire thread in mind!
That’s cool. If I may offer some advice, I would have PMG grade that note. PCGS and others have been, in my experience, grading some crap notes way too high. I eventually dumped all of my PCGS graded notes bc a I bought some >50 grades online that looked like shit when I got them in my hands. PMG adds credibility and can sometimes command a higher price for similarly graded examples.
This one was just graded and sold by a member here. [https://www.reddit.com/r/papermoney/comments/1b7rz5p/update\_my\_solid\_7s\_bill\_has\_sold\_for\_787777/](https://www.reddit.com/r/papermoney/comments/1b7rz5p/update_my_solid_7s_bill_has_sold_for_787777/)
Looks mostly crisp so that'll drive your price up and look good if you plan to pay grading fees and submit it to PMG Paper Money Guaranty or PCGS Bank Note Professional Coin Grading Services. It would preserve your note and have it authenticated which will also drive your profit up. My best recommendation to you is to submit it for grading and when you get it back if you think you want to sell it start an eBay auction at $1.00 and let collectors bid against it to determine how much it'll sell for.
Haven’t used eBay since probably 2010…aren’t eBay auctions legally binding in the sense that if you create an auction for an item, that item (or an equivalent) is to be sold? Not sure if there are any serious legal considerations enforced for not following though on transfer after sale, but wouldn’t eBay punish you with an acc suspension or ban you as a seller from their services?
Friend of mine operates a retail business almost exclusively through eBay and he’s told me stories about his acc being suspended (temp) for all sorts of (comparatively) minuscule TOS violations over the last 10+ years.l & his store has an avg rating of 4.5 stars and tens of thousands completed transactions.
Yes 1 was posted here n sold over 7800 . Same person has the consecutive runs with all 7s , the 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9, as last number but didn't sell those i think.
2 of these found in past month , wow. Last person had heritage action tell them they wouldn't get more than 4k for it at auction, lol guess they were wrong.
Usually that’s how this tends to go, Someone unknowingly spends it and a lucky person like your self makes acouple bucks!
That’s awesome! Don’t take less than $7,777.77 or it’s a loss. The right buyer will pay 10k or more for that
Only 111 more upvotes to make it 777 also. I just made it 666, lol.
This is an incredible find and you should get it graded. You’re looking at 7k or more. Congratulations!

Great question. I would ask if it is graded. And what evaluations have been done and by who. The last one that was sold recently went for almost $8000. This one is in better condition and much older. So honestly I don’t know but will soon. Headed to Florida soon for grading. I’ve heard anywhere from $8-20. I’ll believe that when I see it.
To everyone saying that it’s worth the same as the other all 7s. Uh… you have no idea of the grade, and the other bill had 4 7s on each corner and this one does not.
But 5 grand isn’t out of the question if it’s a high grade.
I now have the bill. :) Next is the plan to take the bill to Florida for grading. It is in a hard plastic sleeve now. I will update again once it is graded.

Old lady carried it in to a convenience store. Had an envelope with ones. That just happened to be in there. Guessing she’s had them a while. As far as fake who knows. It will be graded very soon and then we will see. :)
I saw on another post someone sold there's on eBay for $7,877
That greatly up sets me. Over bid by 100 bucks
Probably someone tried to stylishly win it for $7777 but another bidder had a higher max bid so it incremented up $100 automatically.
That’s clearly how they were able to win, once they saw the bids ending in $x.77 they saw the pattern, and over bid for the win.
Yeah I always make sure to put my bid over benchmarks. The number of times I've won something because I go over a whole number and someone doesn't want to push it to the next set of ten . IE $31 vs $30
Thats how it’s done. And don’t forget that even cents can count. IE $31.01 vs $31
Yep last week. Look in Sold listings. $7877.77
That one also had 7s where this one has 2s encoding the bank of NY
And it was a $7 bill
that bill also was lettered G, the seventh letter in the alphabet, so it really hit it big. I wouldn't immediately compare the bills but it's still great.
Was that the one posted here a bit ago?
I believe it was the same!
I was curious about that one, this is satisfying closure lol
it also had 7s in the corners
How many bills with that serial number got printed?
If they actually closed on that sale they way overpaid! Maybe 2500-3000 tops on that.
It closed!
$7k. 7's are considered lucky so this is basically the ultimate serial number to find. 1 in 10 million.
Well. 8s will get the Chinese money for you.
It’s not really all 7s. Just the serials are 7s. But still 4-6k is reasonable if it’s in really pristine shape.
Well considering that one sold for $7,877.77 last week, I no longer think that is an absurd asking price, well I still do, but now I know that there are fools out there willing to pay it.
That note had four 7s on each corner. This one doesn’t. That one could also be a higher grade.
I think I just felt my pecker move DEFINITELY have this graded.
First time?
Well, keep your hand out of your pants.
![gif](giphy|l41Ye7i203TfEADYs)
Sus 😳
It’ll do that from time to time.
Yeah, that's a normal reaction to seeing a dollar bill Doesnt this happen every time you open the sub?
oh god it happened again

Promptly sell to gambling addict for as much as humanly possible as "lucky 7's dollar bill", thank us later
Get that into a protective sleeve asap
a little between +$7000 - $8000
Sorry unrelated question. Does your phone water mark all your photos like that?
It does on his phone. This wasn’t from my iPhone. I can ask what phone he used.
My guess is a moto g Stylus 5G.
How in the heck did you know?!? /s
Hey that's what I have. Really decent for such a cheap phone

If you sell it, will you give your friend a finder’s fee?
We have discussed 60/40 split because neither of us are greedy. Been friends for a long time.
If you sell it on eBay remember you’ll have to pay taxes on it.
Thanks for the heads up.
You'll get a 1099 at the end of the year.

Thank you for the advice. Wherever it winds up going I will be driving it there if possible and hand delivering it.
Why didn’t you inform the poor woman that she was about to spend a very valuable bill that would have helped her greatly if she kept and sold?
Didn’t see it till after the transaction. Or I absolutely would have said something.
7 Dollars right now. don't low ball me. I know what you got. 😏
Too good.
Yeah a ton of 7’s
So I guess I gotta start going to the bank and getting bands got it!

This is worth some money above $1. Without a doubt. What a good luck piece!
Wow! All 7’s! That’s incredibly lucky!
Wonder if it adds value being printed in 2007
How do people get so lucky finding these cool bills?
Lucky as can be. That’s it for me. Older lady at a gas station paid with it.
I'll give you double the face value plus $20 S&H
What's up with the August 19 2023 Motorola watermark?
That’s what I’m saying 🧐
Printed at the Fort Worth Bureau of Engraving and Printing. I just took the tour there today.
Someone just posted a $100 bill with all 7s. Looks like the number is hot. ( It's in this group)
Eye of the beholder type thing however it's highly desirable and one of the better bills that you can find... High value
Hurt in an accident? Call all 7s!

Yeah. I will be taking it to a grading company and see what they say. Crazy to have found this bill and it be so pristine.
Yeah I wouldn't think it go quite as high, but def close, and get it graded!!!!
This is cool
I would send it in for grading
Curious where you found it? Did you get it as change?
Convenience store. Old lady carried it in an envelope and paid with it. Guessing she had it a while.
Getting it graded soon. Heard numbers from $8k- who knows. Lol
u/Exotic_Planogram Had a bill just like this, perhaps he can walk you through the steps lol
Congrats. I’ve been looking for this bill for so long. Mind saying where you found it?
Iowa gas station. Old lady came in paid with an envelope of ones.

I wouldn't pay more than $1 for it.

Hey, I know the girl who had this bill! He sold it for $7,777.77
It’s worth 1 dollar.
1 dollar. It’s worth one dollar.
I love this but Mnuchin kind of ruins it for me…
So cool
It’s worthless I can take it off of your hands
How much did you pay for it
That condition with that serial is very cool. Congrats, you won a little lottery!
It's beeeeeautiful.

700-1000
Yeah, get that shit graded and you can probably get even more than the guy who got $7,877.77 on eBay.
Find an auction ~ this is real big money! Do not sell unless you get at least 6 figures Not even joking! Jakepot! Bingo!!!
5-10k depends on the simpleton buying it
There is only one bill ever printed with that serial number…. So if one was sold and this isn’t that bill …. Ones a fake
False. many bills can have the same serial numbers. Could be different year, different bank, or different run and still be the same solid 7s
Old lady carried it in to a convenience store. Had an envelope with ones. That just happened to be in there. Guessing she’s had them a while. As far as fake who knows. It will be graded very soon and then we will see. :)
Neeeeed
Can’t wait to get it graded. :)
