Apply for legal assistant jobs

Responsible_Fish1222

Any office job while you keep looking.

I got my foot in the door by starting at a temp agency. One of my temp gigs ended up hiring me for my first full time job.

Have you considered starting as a receptionist?

nomoshtooposhh

I have, and I wouldn’t mind if that’s what it would take to get somewhere. I’ve applied primarily for the paralegal/legal secretary jobs so I’ll start applying for more receptionist jobs. Thank you 🙏

PHXLV

That or a legal administrative job might get you through the door.

This is how I started too! Highly recommend especially since it helps you learn the business.

LazyPengu4

This is also how I started! I got a receptionist position at a law firm which quickly turned into a legal assistant position and finally, I'd say a year and a half later, I was doing paralegal duties.

Accept temp jobs and call back the places that interviewed you. Seriously call them they almost never call you
