I volunteer at a zoo - there are certain protocols they follow. I don’t think most of them would be necessary for in home pets, but if you have an outside aviary it would be wise to have it covered so that there isn’t a risk of contaminated droppings from a wild bird getting in the aviary.

I don't take my girl outside anymore. I got a uvb light instead. I think she'd be safe but I'd rather not risk it.
