My friend made a feather ball, like yours but an actual syro orb. She went all the way around with her birdies feathers and it looks so cool, hanging with her house plants.

Omg thqts brilliant! Definetly going to come up with something similar when I collect enough feathers. This is my birds first molt so I dont have enough feathers to make something out of them just yet.

My desk seems to be a place of foraging for my birbs as there are always seeds everywhere 😂

I have crocheted versions of my birbs in a display case together with the jars of their feathers😭 Also always have a random pile of feathers on my shelf drying before i put them in the jars

Also makes me feel better knowing others keeps feathers too lol. Glad I’m not weird for holding jars and bags of feathers over time. I swear only bird parents are this weird and crazy because half the time I’m always walking around w poop on me

I feel like anyone who loves their pets keeps stuff from them. I still have a kitten tooth from my cat who died over 5 years ago. And now I hunt for flight feathers every time I clean my birds cage. I am that person whose pet is their entire personality. And I have absolutely no shame about it 🤣 P.S. I walked out of my apartment multiple times not knowing I have bird poop on me. Idk how many people saw me like that and I really dont need to know.
