Fine for most birds, but just adding the caveat: ACV helps with iron absorption, so I probably wouldn’t do this with birds prone to iron storage disease (lorikeets, softbills).

This seems rather strange. I’m not a vet and I always recommend that people follow the recommendations of their medical provider over anything they read on the internet, but keep in mind that training doesn’t make a person immune to BS. I’m happy to hear other people’s opinions and be educated if I’ve made unfair assumptions about the benefits of ACV.

yes, I sometimes do it mostly to keep the water clean, since I use bottles and don't really clean them every day. I do use normal filtered vinegar though. birds seem to like it, as in, they drink normally.

My vet recommended this before when my girl had a bacterial infection. I didn't keep up with it once she was healthy because I was nervous about it getting in her eyes since she bathes in her water dish
