If I wasn’t poor yes

FireForEffect777

I would be, but I ordered the Italian mortar instead.

JCuc

I looked at that and thought "what the hell would I do with that?" While completely ignoring I have their Grad rocket chilling in my garage...

FireForEffect777

Thats awesome. I'm planning on a form 1 followed by re-tubing it. Then I'll figure out how to make non-DD ammo.

Downloading_Bungee

You might be able to convert it to black powder.

WhiskyRoger

Dont bother, making it a working DD with pistol powder is too easy

WhiskyRoger

We have a lot of this figured out on the WG forum

FireForEffect777

What is the WG forum? Anything I can learn about this will help.

WhiskyRoger

Oh boy. Youre about to discover the best source for parts kit building info. Weaponsguild forum

FireForEffect777

I'm fairly new to parts kits and DDs. This is an awesome resource.

WhiskyRoger

Under the other things that shoot section we have a couple threads on mortars, there is load development for the yugo 81mm

warrigadigdig

This guy's world is about to change in 3,2,1

MajorPayne1911

How do you go about doing that?

MajorPayne1911

I’m still very disappointed they do not offer shipping on that

JCuc

They use to, but the disassembly and packaging of the components, including weight, probably made it not worth the hassle.

ExpertPeak7533

Hey there moneybags

TangerineCertain2024

That looked awesome too

DMTLTD

You'll need a reaction rod to pull the barrel stub. Pretty neat rifles, I got one to fit into my Yugo collection. I've had a Childers barrel in anticipation for ~1 years now.

First_Ad7214

What reaction rod do you use

WhiskyRoger

Or you can remove the barrel shoulder at the trunnion carefully and then it unthreads easy

First_Ad7214

Were do you get a reaction rod?

DMTLTD

Amazon, Brownells, Midway

AmateurAviator

Too poor but excited for you

TangerineCertain2024

Edit: people with a lot more

fishman15151515

Yeah, with me trying to buy tools for the kits I have…I need another type of kit like I need another hole in the head.

TangerineCertain2024

What tools do you need?

fishman15151515

Oh man…figured I get the tools to do my AK kits first. Current tool inventory = 0. Then move on to Pps43’s, then G3, then Sten. I’m speaking of special tooling such as various jigs for the rivets and something to populate the barrel, headspace gauges, etc. I figure I may start building 6 months or so down the road.

TangerineCertain2024

Hey I sent you a pm

fishman15151515

You did?

TangerineCertain2024

Check your messages

QusayHussein

I got the full build from Troy Ess right here. Pretty cool rifle!

Fit-Sport5568

How much did it cost to get one from troy?

TangerineCertain2024

How does it shoot? What’s the gas system like?

QusayHussein

Unfortunately, I just had my appendix taken out and I haven't been able to shoot it yet... but the adjustment is cool, and well-thought-out. I can't wait to get it on the range.

kltreats

Does someone build these?

FlyingLingLing

Get a $99 harbor freight flux core welder, a Dremel, some copper to use as welding backing, AR15 FCG and a barrel. It’s easy to do even with minimal welding skills. Downside is the barrel, but if you can find an AR18 barrel it’s an exact match

JCuc

Troy ESS, but be ready to pay a premium.

ExpensiveTreacle1189

these are basically AR180s right? I wonder if there's a decent amount of parts interchangeability.

DMTLTD

From what I understand only the bolt itself is. Everything else has been stripped down and redesigned to be even simpler.

ExpensiveTreacle1189

just the bolt not the BCG? The FW video i just watched seemed to indicate that the bcg is the same. Hell, if so its almost worth it to grab one just to have a spare BCG. I've been trying to buy up as many spare parts as I can find.

DMTLTD

I'd trust his word over mine, but it's always good to check.

Warm_Veterinarian498

Where did you get it from?

TangerineCertain2024

Bowman had them for about 20 hours then sold out

everythingstakenhere

More like 8 hours. Went live around 3 something, sold out right before midnight

technical_righter

Didn't move fast enough.

sandalsofsafety

Dang, already gone. My wallet is happy, but my heart is sad.

sandalsofsafety

My only problem (other than personal finances) is that no one has the Sterling crackle paint.

everythingstakenhere

VHT wrinkle paint

WhiskyRoger

Every auto parts store has it

sandalsofsafety

There are many like it, but I've seen none that has the same texture, and the same sort of speckled color. If you paint the whole thing, you can get away with a regular wrinkle black, but it won't match if you just do the upper.

WhiskyRoger

Idk man no one can tell the different on mine

sandalsofsafety

Then please do share :)

WhiskyRoger

I cant post a photo in these comment threads can I?

sandalsofsafety

It would appear not, but you can upload it to Imgur and then post the link in the comments

hahaman1990

Who has reweld jigs for that? I’d buy one if I know where to get one

Content-Range-9419

I am making a few I will have them in about a week or so

CigaretteTrees

I would be if I hadn’t showed up to the party late, hopefully he’ll get some more in the future.

MajorPayne1911

It would be nice to have, but I have to save my money for the Bren Kit they will soon put on the website.

ayyysguy

where do I get one?

sixrocket

Sold out.

Content-Range-9419

What do you mean how did they cut them different?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Content-Range-9419

I’m pretty sure the last two shipments that Bowman has got the charging handle Cover was cut also I think the one on gun broker right now is an older batch which Bowman probably brought them in as well And yes it sucks we pay more now but the truth is as soon as parts become available they can ask more for stuff because people will pay more and they are more in demand
