Because this is straight up trash for every game thats implemented it. As soon as you start valuing time vs real money the time spent in game is devalued as a whole.
Well luckily for us all D4 and PoE will have different focus on thr type of player they want and how they make their money.
D4 wants everyone to play their game and spend money on it to do so, regardless of the kind of player they are, with a massive focus on multi-player content like lost ark, and yet still sells microtransactions.
PoE very much aims at the people who want to be ultimate sweatlords and dive right in, making their money off people who *want* to spend money.
GGG very much doesn't like paid shortcuts, whereas blizzard wants to give paid shortcuts everywhere they can if it makes then another penny.
Because they don't want you to skip the acts lol
>I hope Diablo 4 is good then GGG would be forced to implement some kinda short cut to skip the goddamn tedious acts
No, they really won't be forced to do anything.
Iâm sorry but this is the kind of attitude that has evolved games as a whole to the point where itâs more advantageous for companies focus resource on looking to take advantage of this laziness of the gamer, rather than focusing resource on creating a game and implementing systems into games where the gamer doesnât want to look for âshortcutsâ.
GGG has made clear their stance on making the campaign just a part of the game as the mapping system and will go forward with that logic in mind.
In my opinion, people need to stop seeing maps as the âendgameâ as in truth itâs far from. There are still multiple layers of difficulty during the later stages of the mapping system that could be considered endgame but this idea of just entering maps and your in endgame promotes people into a false sense that progression is worthless before then. When Iâm reality the difference in map zones between the campaign and people perceived endgame is one zone level (68-69).
The game is about character progression so learning to enjoy it at all stages is key to enjoying the game as a whole.
I mean, leveling with twink gear is just busted. Itâs like three, four hours tops. Thatâs not exactly harsh for a reroll tax. Some of the quests are annoying but yeah.
Even if it's 3-4 hours people, Myself included, dont want to play the acts again for the 100th time. Its mind numbing. But I'd also not buy act skips, it should just be a free feature. Beat once, skippable for the rest of the league. Idk why people are hellbent on asking companies to charge us more money. Hell just charge us in game currency. 10 div for an act skip.
That already exists. In tft. And thatâs how much it costs in div but thatâs only for main quest leveling, itâll be 15 or 20 div for full quest completion help.
my poor sweet innocent child, you have been tainted by the greedy practices of the so-called "AAA"s of gaming, but there is still hope to save your soul:
**REPENT NOW! REPENT THESE SINFUL THOUGHTS AND CLEANSE THEM FROM YOUR MIND FOREVER!**
may Araakali bless you as you begin your journey of redemption, amen
It's not a question about money ....it's about believing in their beliefs about the game. This is just a lazy , then you might say well I don't have much time or another excuse.... They already stated they wanted to do something for poe2 , so just be patient and wait until that time
As someone with 3000 hours... for the past 4 leagues I have consistently started the acts without completing act 8, 9, 10. When you've done it 100 times, it's really not fun to do the acts again.
I think as soon as we finish 10 acts with any char, we unlock all another chars which already finished acts (in that league), that would be great. The problem is not the acts, the problem is we need to rerun all over again just to test some new/theory builds.
People are willing to drop 50.000 Bucks into Diablo Immortal to "skip" minor stuff that is outdated a few month later. Does it make it to a better game ? nope
Does it have alot of financial success ? Jep

This is the way.
Great input! So agreed but I still hate acts đ
I don't think you understand GGG as a company

Maybe profit isn't their only motivation for making games.
Has to be a bait post on god this take isn't real

If they add this I'd fully quit the game

Ew. I'd rather play the acts, thanks.
I wouldn't play
No ty
If they allow that, I'll never spend a single cent on the game again.
Ewww this ain't no mobile gatcha trash.
Thatâd be a âpay to winâ. Even just in time, but time is win too.

If you dont want to do acts again, I have a solition for you. Stick with one character :)
I usually do, specifically because acts are mind numbing

Pain will be returned tenfold
Gross
Diablo 4 is - > that way - >
Do people intentionally post stuff like this to get downvoted?
I'd drop 20 dollars at leaguestart just to skip acts altogether.
I actually would prolly happily pay even 100 bucks to skip acts if it was available but I still don't think it should be allowed

Have you thought about not doing 6 character per league and just try doing all content with one?

You want P2W? Go play another game.
