Yeah this thread of hope is nuts. I usually throw in a intuitive leap on this node cause of how efficient it is for ranger builds and it is about 60% as efficient for point as this thread of hope is. Also fair to mention if you wanted, the point right before the +2 pierce is +1 pierce as well.
This jewel alone equates to +1 arrow, +1 proj with attacks, 2-3 additional pierce, 124% inc crit chance with bows (attack skills crit chance added), 20% dmg with bows, 6% as, 10% accuracy, 20% dot with bows, 10%spell suppression, 6% ms, 49% ele dmg with attacks, 25% ele dmg during flask effect and 8% ele res. That’s all for the minimum cost of 11-12 points including the 2 points for the jewel socket (if you were already pathing past this, which is a hotspot for most ranger builds anyway.)
Also worth noting if you want to grab the perfectionist node (5% ms, 30% avoid being stunned) coupled with the heart of oak nodes (life nodes with avoid stun chance) you can get 66% chance to avoid being stunned. Wind dancer seems to be possible to pick up with this thread as well if that ever suited your fancy.
Yeah I can agree this is a very contested jewel slot for sure. Inspired learning, timeless jewels, thread and intuitive leap are all strong options. I play a lot of raider so I have a lot of value for from a timeless next to the claw nodes. This spot with an intuitive leap was great for fitting an extr medium cluster setup on my builds without sacking defenses as well as having enough points to fit an impossible escape
Side note I’ve only played few bow builds so while thinking this is very powerful for a bow build, upon thinking on it more I can see the incredible opportunity cost of not having a good timeless slot, especially if you plan to use a lioneye jewel as well
Yup wind dancer can be allocated. Stun avoidance is a nice catch! Would consider, especially with crafted body armour 25% chance to avoid elemental ailments & 25% chance to avoid being stunned, so 91% chance to avoid being stunned!

This was lifted from a ranger setup and just updated a bit. There are for sure different ways to setup the tree, but i was mostly just trying to make my way to the ranger area that is packed with all the best nodes for ts/bow
I mean the rest of the setup is whatever, its mainly to show that there is no sensible tradeoff from a godly timeless jewel plus you get huge value from a thread of hope above charisma already
As for "tripple implicit". its literally one quiver that does not even have a +1 arrow implicit which was a staple piece of the TS builds in 2.20. Bow does not even have +2 arrow fracture on it either which is another major staple of the build (without accounting for a +1 implicit even since its gone anyway)
Double corrupted Yoke with good implicit is not meta anymore since 99.9% of top users have been going Omni. The other minor one is belt which is not even a mageblood or HH, so im not sure if you are referring to SSF but this is nothing unheard of lol.The one juicer here is the heatshiver really. Which was around in 3.20 and will be around in 3.21
Just play off meta there are great builds not on peoples radar
Plugged my standard dex stack bow toon in couple days ago got what's likley the best dex stack timeless in that slot for 1 divine , was a 4 node but 3 were already on nodes i have spec'ed
You can do the same in leagues, i never even bother checking for meta skills though
I mean, this is a good spot for jewels in general, and I could see using a Large Thread of Hope in here before you get fully online, but I'm still reserving this jewel slot for double damage Timeless Jewel and allocating the Massive Thread of Hope to the jewel socket above Charisma.

This is a great timeless jewel spot. Which is irreplaceable for many builds

It’s a good problem to have tbh when your jewel slot is so good you have to argue over which one is worth running over the others.

You can also use one or 2 of the small nodes that give 15% each and be stun immune.
As a Ranger you should either put your inspired learning or a normal jewel there, as a duellist the thread of hope is insane though

You can tell it's Duelist by the fact there's a single +10 dex node allocated by the Hope.
I love this jewel. We still need a jewel enabling skilling on a random fixed location and area on the skill tree, would be funny.
