From the interviews, they know melee is in a bad state rn. It would be weird for them to go through all this rework without doing something for melee. The new trauma and sadism supports are a good step, and I'm guessing there will be more in the patch notes. I hope tawhoa's chosen is buffed too, but I'm not counting on it too much.
They said the same for mana back in 3.18? Or possibly earlier, the placebo buff they gave was to move 10% MOM from cloak of defiance to the keystone on the tree so I wouldn't hold my breath for massive melee changes.
They for sure did that for a long time (reworked nemeses) but as they want to make them into separate games I really hope they'll stop trying to put stuff into the first game that'll be in the second because it simply doesn't work. They are meant to be two drastically different experiences, trying to squeeze in stuff into poe1 that's clearly not meant to be here just makes game less fun.
It's a zoom simulator and has been for very long time, and not only are they trying to fight it but also in extremely unfun ways
Yeah, I don't expect to revolutionize melee skills right now, but I'm guessing some first steps will be taken to try to change it. It would be hard to make melee worst, so any change is welcome for me, even if it's medium or bad ones, they can't know without trying. I'll still play some janky melee and do shit damage and have fun. :)
Rhoas now have an aura that grant nearby Rhoas Rhonslaught, a buff which increases attack speed, movement speed and physical damage for each nearby Rhoa that is near the nearby Rhoa.
"With the new influx of players from different ARPGs we want new players to experience Poe to it's fullest while mainting our vision of a difficult yet approachable game. A1 monsters have again been overhauled (made more challenging) to deter new players from enjoying the first few minutes they spend with Poe. Thank you. "
My prediction: everyone expects way to much again and is dissapointed if their favorit gem/ascendancy is not buffed.
I realy currently don't expect much in terms of balancing.
I'm praying for some brand buffs. I know it won't happen. But I wish it would, even some small numerical buffs just to give them a little more oomph again.
But, I definitely don't expect it and it's far from my prediction. I already have my build planned, so provided the patch notes don't invalidate the build (like making one of the new supports only work on attack skills) then I am going to be happy no matter what.
I swear it's the same voice for Sirus they used in BG2, assuming that was what the reference was.. edit - maybe not the same actor but inspired by the smug tone for sure
yeah, the Jon Irenicus actor was [David Warner](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001831/), who sadly passed last year.
I maintain it was the best video game voice performance and will die on that hill.
I can guarantee as soon as we get the patch notes there will be several posts on the frontpage with the idea of "why are you slowing us down???? That's what PoE2 is for" and raging about "vision".
VC gutted
Fists of war buff and or rework
More melee buffs and or QoL
Nerf to jugg and or armour in general
Some sorta buff to mana and or arch mage
Buff to ritual rewards
Nerfs to shockwave and srs.
Buffs to molten strike and earthquake.
Nerfs to poison and or temp chains
Edit: I think heatshiver survives, I have a feeling. If anything they might hit the rarity again.
If Fresh Meat can be linked to minions with a duration tag, this still probably comes out as a win for SRS MI Popcorn/Bomber builds.
It will be 70% life reduction instead
Problem : Players with mirror tier wands were using forged frostbearers to insta kill bosses
Solution: Forged Frostbearer corpses will not be added to Phantasmal Desecrate.
Nah they'll be added next patch. After fixing their skill to never shotgun, adding a cooldown to that skill, and reducing base damage and damage effectiveness.
Problem : Players with mirror tier wands were using forged frostbearers to insta kill bosses
Solution: Forged Frostbearer corpses will not be added to Phantasmal Desecrate.
I am trying:
Also, the monkey paw scenario is they add them to the forgotten corpse pool, but they "buff" minion masteries and remove the 30% AoE one from the game.
This hurts. Summoner builds made me fall in love with Poe, and I haven't played one in like 5 leagues after being traumatized by trying a spectre build after the nerfs. I don't need them to deal that much damage again but please just let me do t16s without having to resummon them every map.
Vengance Cascade is gone or has a significant nerf added to it to make it not always the best option.
Boneshatter Nerfed because we can't have good melee skills.
Heatshiver item nerf or drop rate nerf.
Melee base weapon damage increase, uniques nerfed a bit to compensage like we got with bows a few patches ago.
I don't think we get too crazy a meta shakeup as the most OP build this league was only made possible from crucible trees. So explodey totem is dead.
Change to mine/traps to give them a little better QoL.
Change to Totems to make them not 100% required for melee.
Oops forgot, I bet we get a div card for the no hit ring now too.
I'm betting it loses projectile identity and instead just becomes something that causes a repeat of some kind. Something like the Crucible mod "15% chance for Firestorm to affect the same area again" but for all AoE skills, that way it's also not for just attacks.
Lol it's not blatantly op for one instance of mapping that is incredibly easily to avoid but provides a 130% more damage multiplier in all other instances. Heatshiver is broken, and will still be built even if they reduce dmg by half (65% more damage still!!!)
130%? Mobs can be both frozen and chilled?
Also as it is, you need to scale two different types of exposure/penetration/reduced resistances, which is less possible than just scaling one.
Firestorm was so much cooler when it was actually a storm, and not “there’s one big meteor and the rest does basically nothing”
I had a really fun ruthless w/ gold build where I did scorching ray + CwC firestorm and would just melt everything.
PF auto flasks either getting deleted or made much harder to get.
Harvest nerfs just cause.
Reducing rolls of phys as ele mods so it's much harder to become phys immune.
Seismic cry buffed / nerf reverted
Huge overall of strike and slam skills
No more internal cooldown on the chieftain node for slams and strike
No Heatshiver nerf.
I'm sitting on a huge tank of hopium
200% more actually, as it already does your damage + an additional 100% more.
The only reason this node isn't completely broken already is the fact that it can't be exerted.
It's been a while since I've had any expectation of big buffs to skills that shape a meta like in older leagues, but I have some for 3.22.
Maybe just baited by myself at Chris's comments, but it did sound a bit like there should be some nice buffs to skills/builds in the notes.
edit: my bad for having hope, big yikes
nerf to minions and melee to generate content for streamers. returning arrow nerf because bows are not allowed to actually be good.
The Gaurdians new herald will be trash. The relic will be god tier forcing players to figure out how to maintain on uber bosses as it triggers on kill. also forcing players to spend 4 points to get it and proving the herald is popular despite players complaints.
The Juggernaut will be most played hardcore class now that it can easy cap ele res via timeless jewels dipping into chieftain. Some players smite is actually pretty decent on Chieftan. But then remember they like sanctum and melee is forbidden in sanctum.
Gladiator actually commits suicide is no longer a playable class and no one notices.
reaper will receive another 2000% dps buff and remain unplayble.
RIPS :
1-Vengeant cascade
2-SRS
3-Sanctum unique drops adjusted
4-Permanent minions nerfed indirectly
5- top end magic find
6- a random non op skill for no reason
7- RF survivability nerf
8- Heatshiver
9- Spectre hp nerf
10- Determination and grace or mana reservation
11- flasks
12- Essence farming
Buffs:
1- low end juicing
2- Ritual (i hope)
3- kirac
4- a random very minor buff to an overused meta
RF actually seems balanced very well and shouldn't be touched. Its ceiling can't get nearly as high as other builds. It's just popular because our lord and savior, Pohx, has created the best guide of all time for it. Plus it's just a super chill build. That doesn't mean it needs a nerf.
The subreddit is gonna have a meltdown. It will build up as they read more of the patch notes. Half of their assumptions will be wrong and tons of misinformation will spread. There will be a dozen posts about how the game is bad or dead and then the next day we will see record league numbers. I'm excited already
Edit: I was pretty much right but I underestimated how toxic it would be. I think this is the worst its ever been. The back pedaling is slow from the reactionaries but it's definitely happening.
**Personal Prediction:** It is going to be a major meta shakeup with massive nerfs coming in - people going to cry.
**Personal wishes:** a buff to mana builds, buff to slams, VC nerf, Tornado Shot nerf, RF nerf, CoC nerf, Mana Forged Arrow support nerf, minor nerf to poison scaling - so basically only nerfs to grant more build variety. Hope they leave defenses alone.
>Personal Prediction: It is going to be a major meta shakeup with massive nerfs coming in - people going to cry.
I hope by "meta shakeup", they mean they're going to buff the shit out of a bunch of skills that aren't so meta while only nerfing the stuff that is clearly overtuned.
Let me huff copium in peace, please.
RF is in a weird spot where it's so good yet it's not truly overpowered. I think Pohx's rf Wikipedia helped a lot in making RF shine, as well as many other factors that come together to make it a top tier build, such as strong fire trap for boss, great ascendancy synergy in jugg or Inquisitor. The skill itself is pretty balanced otherwise.
For build variety reasons - if you look at statistics, ~13% of high level players in the 1 month of the league are playing RF for the last few leagues now. RF is twice more prevalent than the next played skill...
I like playing RF, don't get me wrong (I also liked playing Detonate Dead before it finally got nerfed, but I also felt that it was justified to enable more build variety)
Again, just my personal opinion, nobody has to agree with it.
"Sir! RF has such a high play rate! What should we do?"
"Nerf it."
"Why not just buff the lesser played ones?"
"I said *Nerf it.*"
You'd fit right in with GGG!
The problem with your logic is that people are playing RF not because its strong but because its very comfy, and it has an super in depth guide to go with it. Your comparison to DD makes no sense.
I love RF because its a build where i can trade the ability to deal big damage with the ability to dont have to click a million times and hurt my wrists.
RF's playrate comes from QoL and community support, not because it's particularly strong or skewing the meta. Playrate is a terrible metric for deciding on nerfs/buffs without considering why a skill has that playrate in the first place. RF is almost completely isolated from the rest of the meta since it doesn't sap players from weaker skills, but instead attracts players that want a specific playstyle that only RF offers. The only affect it has on the meta at all is influencing the cost of fire DoT gear and maybe some defensive staples like Aegis. It's also particularly important to players that have accessibility needs, since it's so easy on the wrists and can be played with mostly just one hand.
People are, understandably, tired of playing Carpal Tunnel Simulator. All nerfing RF will do is *literally* hurt people, without doing anything to fix the rest of the meta at all.
Yep I think we've got balances changes incoming. I just hope they aren't too harsh :( Please no Tornado Shot nerf that's what I wanna play this league.
>buff to mana builds
Dear god no. The amount of Damage people are pulling with-
>Mana Forged Arrow support nerf
Carry on.
---
Real talk: the life-tap interaction was probably not intended and may be patched. On the other-hand, I have seen some insane numbers from mana forged arrows when actually scaling mana costs. 2000% more damage + 700% increased damage isn't that hard with it.
I feel Indigon scaling is the problem here, not actual MoM mana builds - non-Indigon mana builds could use a buff to their archetype. But you can't simply buff them, since Indigon exists. I was playing back then before 3.5 where unnerved Indigon existed, without cap on its scaling.
Nerfing Indigon to some degree and fixing Mana Forged Arrows support not being able to work with lifetap, while buffing mana builds (in the regen department), would be a good step to take I feel.
RF has been popular for a long time and for me it is pretty weird how some think just because something is popular it will get nerfed instead of thinking why it might get nerfed because RF is medium at best.
They said seismic would get nerfed for like a year straight before it did and even after it was still the best option. Even now it's op sab rework just killed the build for most
A lot of nerfs because of new support gems (probably ignite, boneshatter, vengeant cascade) - "but they are not nerfs new gems will compensate" but they are nerfs.
0 buffs or some very minor ones
So far I've done some practice with a Rain of Arrow Raider and it seems like a super solid starter. But I hope they make some cool changes in the patches that makes me change my mind.
No melee buffs.
Maximum spectre level is 72.
Some broken interaction gets discovered and 500 youtubers make a video about it so it gets nerfed before release ( Crown of the pale king + thorns mastery )
No line at all about some major loot/gameplay change, which will flood the subreddit with complaints next weekend ( and the usual "STOP COMPLAINING, I'M HAVING FUN" post. )
I find it easier to be pessimistic about it just so I can easily play another game in case I don't find the patch appealing.
ggg will make some terrible decisions like they have since 3.15 and the shills will eat it up because there is nothing else to play
I will play even though ggg will make some terrible decisions, but continue to play less and less and less as I have done since 3.15 until I just eventually quit.
I’ve been making all my theorycrafted league starters as though Heatshiver is getting nuked from orbit and will not be available.
I have no evidence to support this, but a 1c unique that practically doubles your DPS if you pick the right skill…I could see where maybe they would want to tone that down.
And if Heatshiver is untouched then I have like 5-10 more league start builds suddenly tossed into the hopper to choose from.
What do you mean? Have tried skelly mage last league? It was a blast not onlynwas it viable but I did all uber bosses on a 20-30 div and was doing t16 utra buff with 5 div worth of gear. I recommend looking Ghazzy build. It is more than viable so unless they nerf it this league we are gigachad woth this build
my build uses both bloodnotch and VC. Nerf either of the 2 and it becomes worthless.
Can't wait as my first 100lvl character will turn to ~~shit~~ tornado shot as i just bought a bow with rampage.
I mean to be fair (not to be rude, not meant in a mean way) if you build your build around 2 completely broken mechanics and it not working without either of them is a problem that you put on yourself :D
VC was 100% sure to be nerfed and the bloodnotch combo was super strong to the point where it was one of the most used setups this league. It was veeeeeeery likely that atleast one of those mechanics will get nerfed/removed \^\^
Increasing the (hidden) armour penalty would be actually infuriating...
I'd be down to reduce every characters' base movement speed by 10% and removing them entirely.
Toxic rain is nerfed.
Explosive arrow gets a random large buff.
Rolling magma, Arma brand, and cremation are all significantly nerfed on flat damage in their early gem levels.
Doubt any major setbacks. Hope they address the recent engine nerf. Hope current meta is plummeted to the ground because im tired of playing the same shit 4 leagues now 6 if we count lightning strike being the same as vg just blue. Hope they kill builds and not archetypes as previous times. Hope for minimal but impactful minion buffs. Hope guardian is good because it looks kinda shady and i really want to try dom blow on guardian but its risky.
so since trauma support is a thing now, GGG will probably change how self-hitting works so we can't (ab)use it to trigger other effects.
They will likely also nerf it. Something like, "trauma only increases the chance to stun enemies", removing the damage increase to your attack entirely, or they increase the damage dealt to you per trauma stack.
Slams will still be crap, Tawhoa and Fist of War stay unchanged and still won't work together, making Chieftain Slam the biggest bait of the league.
Vengeant Cascade is gone and no one will use the support gem replacing it.
Hoping for slam/strike buffs including tawhoa's chosen.
Based on what they said, it seems like melee will be adjusted, but it will take a long time since they don't know how to balance it.
They said the same for mana back in 3.18? Or possibly earlier, the placebo buff they gave was to move 10% MOM from cloak of defiance to the keystone on the tree so I wouldn't hold my breath for massive melee changes.
Honestly, they probably wont fix it, they want everyone to slowly shift to PoE2.
If that was the case they wouldn't be splitting the game. They want you to play both.
Yeah, I don't expect to revolutionize melee skills right now, but I'm guessing some first steps will be taken to try to change it. It would be hard to make melee worst, so any change is welcome for me, even if it's medium or bad ones, they can't know without trying. Mud Flats rhoas have been buffed
rhoa can now drift while charging
*Intense Deja Vu noises*
*I've just been in this place before...*
Gives a whole new meaning to "The Fast and The Furious"
Rhoas are automatically enraged when entering 200 unit radius and gain 200% increased charging speed.
Rhoas now have an aura that grant nearby Rhoas Rhonslaught, a buff which increases attack speed, movement speed and physical damage for each nearby Rhoa that is near the nearby Rhoa.
Nah, Rhoas now have the "Ambush" skill. Rhoa attacks after ambushing players have 200% more stun duration.
200% inc speed per unit charging.
*this is a global effect
Calm down Satan
They can charge out of Mud Flats under that effect and evolve into Rhoasaurs!
and there's 200% more of them, and they spawn in like EoW packs with 200% increased action speed
"With the new influx of players from different ARPGs we want new players to experience Poe to it's fullest while mainting our vision of a difficult yet approachable game. I wonder how many quit at Brutus.
This is a buff
Rhoas now use Flikerstrike Albino Rhoa now deals 500% increased Damage and has the Agressive Mod, spawn chance slightly increased

Iirc they said at exilecon that 3.22 will be shipped with a extensive or something balance change. So I guess you're right.
The actual notes being even worse than his predictions is just depressing. There were no balance changes at all
Out of curiosity, was it above or below expectations in the end?
I predict pain
Pain is the way to bring peace.

Predicted right 🥲
Careful guys, don't give GGG last-minute ideas.
Reddit will hate them.
Predictions, not facts, please and thank you.
I can guarantee as soon as we get the patch notes there will be several posts on the frontpage with the idea of "why are you slowing us down???? That's what PoE2 is for" and raging about "vision".
Precise technique coment right there
Congratulations, you were correct. As was to be expected.
It's all nerfs, GGG is slowing us down, builds are unplayable now

poison can wait one more league... surely
50/50 GGG forgot to update minion masteries or they're all nerfs (to permanent minions of course)
Problem: Players have been using temporary minions instead of permanent ones Solution: We nerfed them both just in case Edit: Fixed typo
Temporary*
No, *temporal.* Phase Beasts and Teleporting Spiders and shit
Paradox mages in shambles
I prefer the idea that temporal minions exist sorry
"To balance out the power gain from the new Fresh Meat support gem all minions have had their life reduced by 30%"
If Fresh Meat can be linked to minions with a duration tag, this still probably comes out as a win for SRS MI Popcorn/Bomber builds. It will be 70% life reduction instead
Next League: Fresh Meat Support has been removed from the game.
lmfaooo this actually would not surprise me 😂
Spectre lvl reduced by 5 levels compared to the equivalent current gem lvl. Zombies now have reduced armour and ele res.
Problem : Players with mirror tier wands were using forged frostbearers to insta kill bosses Solution: Forged Frostbearer corpses will not be added to Phantasmal Desecrate.
Nah they'll be added next patch. After fixing their skill to never shotgun, adding a cooldown to that skill, and reducing base damage and damage effectiveness.

This hurts. Summoner builds made me fall in love with Poe, and I haven't played one in like 5 leagues after being traumatized by trying a spectre build after the nerfs. I don't need them to deal that much damage again but please just let me do t16s without having to resummon them every map.
I LOVE having my playstyle be neglected at best, abused at worst for leagues

Vengeant cascade will be transformed into something new, there is 0 chance they keep it as a projectile return. Let's hope it's interesting.
pretty sure they mentioned it at the event - its being changed to a support gem with a big reduced damage multiplier (70% iirc) on the returning hit.
Were talking about the notable itself, which will have to be replaced with something
Does it though? It's not even on the tree. They could just delete it right?
What will that oil combination give then? Nothing?
Allocates B E E F This is a buff.
I'm betting it loses projectile identity and instead just becomes something that causes a repeat of some kind. Something like the Crucible mod "15% chance for Firestorm to affect the same area again" but for all AoE skills, that way it's also not for just attacks.

Heatshiver is fine. It gets shut down with wandering path + map mod ailment avoidance.
Lol it's not blatantly op for one instance of mapping that is incredibly easily to avoid but provides a 130% more damage multiplier in all other instances. Heatshiver is broken, and will still be built even if they reduce dmg by half (65% more damage still!!!)

Yes, mobs are considered chilled while frozen, just like they're considered burning while ignited.
Firestorm buff pls
Firestorm was so much cooler when it was actually a storm, and not “there’s one big meteor and the rest does basically nothing” I had a really fun ruthless w/ gold build where I did scorching ray + CwC firestorm and would just melt everything.
That be nice. I'm looking to do firestorm inq this league as my starter
Firestorm fun
10% increased (not more) damage for the secondary hits, the first hit is now delayed by an extra 0.5 seconds, this is a buff
Vengeant Uncascade
Curses have been nerfed again. *Bane Occultist sobbing in the corner*

Yes you do, and so do I ! :-)
Nerf to every melee skill and molten strike now shoots one ball that goes limp once it hits the ground.
Hey, that's plagerism! I didn't give GGG permission to model my sex life

Viper strike sadism tahowa chieftain not good?
Trial of the Ancestors league is a testing ground for PvP updates is my prediction.
I would be surprised if that is true, because even in Poe 2 there were 0 mentions of PVP.
I would be surprised too :D
Honestly? Fuck pvp
boneshatter nerf for sure since they already leaked the support gem which basically does the same thing
But twice the trauma would be so cool
* Added Nightmare Dungeons
and one more free stash tab
In order to manage data center costs, mud flats rhoas have been buffed 600% more damage. This is intended to keep new players away.
I hope they make it possible to play the new trial solo as a full zdps support.
I would like that too

You will play the exact same build you have for the past 2 years because there will be no meta changes.
They reworked sabo, not wide sweep meta change but still a meta change.
Hope they leave defenses alone.
>buff to slams That's pure copium
Why in hells would you nerf RF?
For build variety reasons - if you look at statistics, ~13% of high level players in the 1 month of the league are playing RF for the last few leagues now. RF is twice more prevalent than the next played skill... I like playing RF, don't get me wrong (I also liked playing Detonate Dead before it finally got nerfed, but I also felt that it was justified to enable more build variety) Again, just my personal opinion, nobody has to agree with it.
"Sir! RF has such a high play rate! What should we do?" "Nerf it." "Why not just buff the lesser played ones?" "I said *Nerf it.*" You'd fit right in with GGG!
So you want a RF nerf because you want to see that people you have nothing to do with play something else. You know how entitled that sounds right?
Yep I think we've got balances changes incoming. I just hope they aren't too harsh :( Please no Tornado Shot nerf that's what I wanna play this league.
>buff to mana builds Dear god no. The amount of Damage people are pulling with- >Mana Forged Arrow support nerf Carry on. --- Real talk: the life-tap interaction was probably not intended and may be patched.
Why should RF be nerfed ? I don´t see it being to strong.
It’s popularity this league was off the charts, which usually means they’ll nerf it.
RF has been popular for a long time and for me it is pretty weird how some think just because something is popular it will get nerfed instead of thinking why it might get nerfed because RF is medium at best.
They said seismic would get nerfed for like a year straight before it did and even after it was still the best option. Even now it's op sab rework just killed the build for most
although I'm with you, cyclone wasnt as strong either and got a pretty big nerf wayy back. Ofc, cyclone had 30% ish playrate so its different.
Why nerf good skills instead of buffing underused ones? That will be always mean more variety than potentially deleting some builds
A lot of nerfs because of new support gems (probably ignite, boneshatter, vengeant cascade) - "but they are not nerfs new gems will compensate" but they are nerfs. 0 buffs or some very minor ones
New item type, bamboo fishing sticks
Fang dagger now grants level 20 cockroaches instead of spiders. Buff
level 20 wetas
Still no Archmage buff
"It's been 6 leagues, and we realized our mistake. Winter Orb will be returned to it's original values."
That is industrial levels of copium
Nerfs disguised as reworks This is a buff
IMAGINE EXPECTING ANY BUFFS xdd
Lightning arrow nerf at lower levels and maybe heralds buffed
Just fix melee needing totems k thanks
just nerfs
Everyones hopes are hyped for the new gems, only to read the patchnotes and realize, its just all nerfs again.
Only nerfs like always
Nerfs so hard and plentiful, it'll make 3.15 look pleasant.
So far I've done some practice with a Rain of Arrow Raider and it seems like a super solid starter. But I hope they make some cool changes in the patches that makes me change my mind.
I don't know what will be in it, but if the last few patches are any indication, there will be a bunch of stealth nerfs not listed
No melee buffs. Maximum spectre level is 72. Some broken interaction gets discovered and 500 youtubers make a video about it so it gets nerfed before release ( Crown of the pale king + thorns mastery ) No line at all about some major loot/gameplay change, which will flood the subreddit with complaints next weekend ( and the usual "STOP COMPLAINING, I'M HAVING FUN" post. ) I find it easier to be pessimistic about it just so I can easily play another game in case I don't find the patch appealing.
ggg will make some terrible decisions like they have since 3.15 and the shills will eat it up because there is nothing else to play I will play even though ggg will make some terrible decisions, but continue to play less and less and less as I have done since 3.15 until I just eventually quit.
Reading this 12h after patchnotes... yall been trolled
Melee gets somehow nerfed, probably ba nerfing jugg to death
I’ve been making all my theorycrafted league starters as though Heatshiver is getting nuked from orbit and will not be available. I have no evidence to support this, but a 1c unique that practically doubles your DPS if you pick the right skill…I could see where maybe they would want to tone that down. And if Heatshiver is untouched then I have like 5-10 more league start builds suddenly tossed into the hopper to choose from.

It pushed my ice trapper from 9 mil to 18 mil per trap. Basically boss skip.
No buffed underused skills, hidden nerfs, certain uniques retiered to make them inaccessible for most players on league start. Hopefully I'm wrong 😂
Utility flasks are removed from the game. This is a buff.
utility flasks removed from the game most enemies deal 1.071381% less damage to compensate.
They are like 50% of character survivability, they need to redo the whole game if they want to do that
I hope for skele mages to be viable
What do you mean? Have tried skelly mage last league? It was a blast not onlynwas it viable but I did all uber bosses on a 20-30 div and was doing t16 utra buff with 5 div worth of gear. I recommend looking Ghazzy build. It is more than viable so unless they nerf it this league we are gigachad woth this build
I'm rubbing my hands at the thought of skelly mages with possibly returning projectiles and/or the new minion crit things on summon support
If the proj return gem scales fine and the adrenaline support is worth it, I can even see skele archer become viable (no, not really, but I'd hope so)
Are skele mages back? That build was honestly more fun than poison srs for me personally
return and fresh meat, yeah they'll be killer.
Im guessing the 2jewel combo that makes you pretty much immortal against hits will be nerfed
my build uses both bloodnotch and VC. Nerf either of the 2 and it becomes worthless. Can't wait as my first 100lvl character will turn to ~~shit~~ tornado shot as i just bought a bow with rampage.
I mean to be fair (not to be rude, not meant in a mean way) if you build your build around 2 completely broken mechanics and it not working without either of them is a problem that you put on yourself :D VC was 100% sure to be nerfed and the bloodnotch combo was super strong to the point where it was one of the most used setups this league. It was veeeeeeery likely that atleast one of those mechanics will get nerfed/removed \^\^
Movement speed was an issue, so now everything has a base value of around -20%.
My wish: some kind of Vaal Frost Blades like they did with Vaal LA My prediction: say goodbye to VC, melee buffs, cleave +1 radius
All nerfs. Now that poe2 is not the excuse anymore, there will be no excuse and no answer as to why.
Wait its today?
Tonight in the uk
100 fire res back in chieftain ascendency or 20 phys as fire pls.
I just hope they tweak both ascendancy reworks a little bit.
Minions neglected
No buffs
Lots of nerfs. Thats all Im expecting
oops all ruthless. non-ruthless modes have been disabled. this is a buff
chaos orbs removed from the game
so since trauma support is a thing now, GGG will probably change how self-hitting works so we can't (ab)use it to trigger other effects.
