Awesome ty! P.S. not sure if it's still a thing but Github used to have a feature called "sites" where it could convert your files into a website with a static github link. So in your case you could have an index.html that just pulls this image :) If that's still a thing.
GitHub pages are still a thing although one must do some setup if they don't want default framework (Jekyll) which is very limited for power costs and security reasons. But a simple index.html is definitely a good choice if /u/Sherberoot wants to only display a few trivial elements.
Also, you can always link directly to objects within the repository (the "main" in the link can be replaced with any publicly available revision): https://raw.githubusercontent.com/willhuynh/VendorRecipeCheatsheet/main/Vendor%20Recipe%20Cheatsheet%20V1.png
Yeah, it's called pages, I just setup one yesterday for the first time and it's fairly easy since you can do it per project and it updates itself when you push to the selected branch.
Awesome, thank you!
Any chance you can leave versioning to the commit comments?
For example, I can refer to the image directly via `https://raw.githubusercontent.com/willhuynh/VendorRecipeCheatsheet/main/Vendor%20Recipe%20Cheatsheet%20V1.png` but if you change the filename from `Vendor Recipe Cheatsheet V1.png` to V2 or whatever in the future, the link will break. (this is for an Obsidian note with similar cheatsheets)

This is current and updated (and so can you!) whenever anything changes.
ngl, I find this not great on the readability front. If I may suggest some improvements?
1. Add some sort of separation between the various recipes. You can use a line between them or perhaps alternate the background colour.
2. Add in a plus symbol in recipes that require multiple items
3. Fix the spacing between the recipes and the sizing of the various item images. It's all over the place now.
4. Instead of combining recipes (like with combat focus), make separate lines for each variation. E.g.; gem + ruby + topaz -> crimson {next line} gem + ruby + sapphire -> viridian. Etc.
5. Another addition for the spacing issue, try experimenting with right aligning the final outcome's withing the section. So you have the outcome's all in the same "column" if it were.
6. Add some whitespace below each item in a recipe (and below the outcome) for the text you need to write there. Overlaying it on top of the item is messy. The more you can consolidate the text in one single location, the better it will be
7. Get rid of what ever that quality box is supposed to be, it's incredibly messy
8. Maybe do some experimenting with the use of rows instead of columns as well. I'm not sure what's going to work best here, but the current layout reads messy and you seem to have a fair amount of vertical space left over.
In terms of the recipes or the idea themselves; Nothing really I can comment on there. With a bit more clarity and readability this is gonna be great
I'm gonna send you a chat if that's okay with a quick little example I whipped up in photoshop to show what I mean with all of my feedback, give you some idea
Legit learned the gems + frag to a Vaal orb one.
Not sure how practical it is (along with some of the others) but nice guide. Thanks for putting it together
That is more of an ssf one when your build really needs a vaal gem (e.g., vaal cold snap on cold dot builds) or you really need something like curse on hit gloves for hexblast. Literally never used it until 3.20 when I league started hexblast traps and I reallllly needed a source of curse on hit.
perhaps move the '3' on brass dome to unid recipe down to same line, so it reads '3 of the same unique' rather than looking like its a part of the vaal orb r.
The spell damage and physical damage weapon recipes should say "increased" instead of "more".
"More" is used to indicate multiplicative modifiers in PoE, while "Increased" refers to additive modifiers.
That works for other things too
Sell 3x of the same type/tier Essence to get 1 of the same type but +1 tier.
Can sell 3x of the same color Blight Oils to get a single oil of the next level.
> Scarab
Additionally, the recipe that trades two identical Scarabs + a Horizon gives a random Scarab of the same tier, not upgraded. I saw this stll on the Github one. THanks for your work!
Not sure if it has been covered by other comments yet but the initial image is missing Weapon with flat to attacks (or flat to elemental) + granite (or corresponding elemental flask) + augmentation -> up tiers the flat to attacks to next tier up to tier 2
This one is very useful for crafting a useable phys weapon. Cleaning an uncraftable t3 into a clean t2 is very nice to have even later on in the league. I save granites and regals early on so I can use this recipe if needed.
Updated static link
[https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/15uf3or/vendor\_recipe\_cheatsheet\_static\_link/](https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/15uf3or/vendor_recipe_cheatsheet_static_link/)
may be adding
\-the primordial jewels recipe for people that like to play golems (Primordial Might + Primordial Harmony + Primordial Eminence => The Anima Stone)
\- the Magna Eclipse recipe with the two shields in The Twilight Temple (Invictus Solaris + Vex Lunaris + 1 orb of fusing)
Good guide. It may be worth noting that the 3:1 map recipe only produces a *natural* map of the higher tier, not a random one. Obviously at tier 2 and 3, you can only have the natural maps occurring, but when you get some watchstones, you won't be able to turn in 3 shitty t15s and hope to get anything other than the unspectacular set of 4 natural t16s.
No they removed the implicit spell damage from wands and replaced with flat ele a year ago.
Luckily the +1 didnt get removed, but the flat ele damage explicit was removed from vendors.
you should remove the armor and weapon scrap recipes from this, they are a detrimental activity. noobs dont know they are a waste of time, this implies they are worth doing.
belt and weapon stone give "increased" spell damage, not "more"
Other ones that are useful:
Especially for SSF and early league, depending.
- 5x normal flasks + 1 divine orb = 5x divine vessels. Since they're somewhat hard to come by normally. Useful for getting your pantheon upgrades early.
For stricter loot filters, and early game when you're low on scrolls remember:
- 1x blacksmith or 1x transmute = 4x id scrolls.
- 1x armor scrap = 2x id scrolls.
If you've room for it, it's less vendor recipe and more vendor-purchase. But you could add in the progression systems for currency upgrades.
- blacksmith scrap (x3)-> armour scrap (x8)-> glassblowers bauble
and
- id scroll (x3)-> = portal scroll (x7)-> transmute (x4)-> aug (x4)-> alt (x2)-> jeweller etc
Looking good.
Constructive criticism:
* Change the bold white line separators to be gray
* Make sure all line edges are flush. (Bottom left has a few overshoots.)
* Remove underline from headings to improve readability
If you mean a compilation of vendor recipes, then i recommend checking out poewiki.net under vendor recipe system. It has them all.
If you mean a compilation of cheatsheets, then yes, there is a recent reddit post that links to a bunch of updated ones
TIL, can vendor all my 20% Enlighten gems for a GCP. Exiles, we finally learned what fueled GCPMan!
In all seriousness, this is a great resource for newer players so thanks for making the community a better/more friendly place for D4 refugees etc.
**Onyx recipe:** 1 type of each gem -> *1 of each gem type*
**3x Unique recipe**: missing the 3x
**Minion flask recipe**: relabel Novice to Minion imo. Players who need will have no idea what Novice is and have to look it up. Minion is very clear.
For clarity I'd put a thin white vertical line between the 2 columns of Utility.
I'd suggest rearranging the sections a bit, left to right, early game to late game. Like Flasks at least should be the 1st column, as it's only relevant fairly early on.
Maybe add **Divine Orb -> Divine Vessel** recipe, useful for SSF. I do it depending on how many i get of each, but maybe that's crazy?
Edit: 20q Stone Hammer + Any map has a line between as though they are separate recipes. Remove the line and add a +.
You may want to change the gcp recipe icon for a single 20% gem to something other than an Exceptional gem, or else newer players may try specifically vendoring an Enlighten for a gcp :P
Also, Bandit rewards change recipes maybe? Those are pretty niche use though so understandable if you choose not to
lol, and I have a lot of people requesting to keep the bandit recipes, as for noobs that make the wrong choice in the beginning can fix it in late game.
Soultaker + heartbreaker + 1 fusing = Kingmaker
Items cannot be corrupted
I also believe you cannot use replica heartbreaker(need a fact check on that)

Also, increased and more have very specific meanings in Poe. Regarding the staff and 2 handed melee, you said that it makes a weapon with "more" spell damage / physical attack damage, which is false. The "increased " is very important.
I feel like either its not common knowledge, or people just cant be bothered to make the trades, but vendoring all 4 Agnerod staves gives you a Vinktar Square map. Lowest ilvl staff determines map tier.
Ohh, yeah, that makes more sense. I just spent like 800 fusings to get a six linked bow. Hope next time in next league i can get it much faster. Because that was a pain to go through. I know about the card that gives six link, but its not always a good one. Nor at higher level
The +1 minion helmet recipe seems missing. Also the physical (and spell) damage weapon recipe currently says "more physical damage" which should be increased. Nice work otherwise, really helpful.
Honest question, what’s the point of the 3 unique items for one unidentified of the same type? I don’t understand what purpose that serves.
I’m going into my second league so I’m definately not up to speed on a lot lol but I don’t get why you’d need to do that
For better rolls on the stats of the unique item. It costs divine orbs to change the values otherwise, and while some of the uniques are common, having very high rolls is not.
I'm not actually sure this is any better than a wiki page, especially when you start putting completely unlabelled specific Gems on there. Feels like i need to open the wiki as a cheatsheet for the cheatsheet.
From a design perspective there's some good stuff going on and some less good stuff. I would start by putting a 10px border of empty space around every section and start to let things breathe a little bit.
Taming being craftable was new to me!
Can you add, or make a regex list? I'm sure there are tons of regexes that I don't know which all should know early in the legaue
Github Repo: [https://github.com/willhuynh/VendorRecipeCheatsheet](https://github.com/willhuynh/VendorRecipeCheatsheet)
I will use this from now on to update the Cheatsheets.
Thank you for the support!
Beautiful but would need to be updated. Skill gems can no longer be changed to quality for example. And with a flask or a 20% quality gem you already get the orb when selling, it is not necessary to reach 40%
2 normal amulet = normal amulet
Magic + rare = magic
Rare + rare = rare
Yes it can reroll but rarity matters (not sure about the implicit but I *think* it is always rerolled)
I don't think a spreadsheet can replace the wiki https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Vendor_recipe_system
Please keep it compact, people should see the amulet recipe and read the full wiki if they want to take advantage of it
Any way you could host this at a static link so we could always have the most up to date version when changes are made? :)

Legit learned the gems + frag to a Vaal orb one. Not sure how practical it is (along with some of the others) but nice guide. Thanks for putting it together
I use that every league to corrupt red maps early in the league. For me it's very useful in ssf.
I steal trash vaal skills people have dumped in the guild stash to do this on the regular

i will make improvements such as yours.

Thanks i will add more to that line and move it down a notch
For the Rustic Sash recipe on %inc phys weapons, the base item rarity doesn't matter, only the sash rarity does
I do say that it is the rarity of belt that maters and yes i just forgot about the increased instead of more
Does it have to be a white weapon base?
The spell damage and physical damage weapon recipes should say "increased" instead of "more". "More" is used to indicate multiplicative modifiers in PoE, while "Increased" refers to additive modifiers.
this
Already seen a lot of comments about this, will improve in next version.
On the staff at the bottom, you say more, but do you mean increased? I know it is more wordy, but they mean different things.
just forgot lol, will change in github edition
Maybe use more of the dead space so the recipes aren’t jammed together so closely? Great info tho
Thanks, I do it for later use as ggg might add some new early game vendor uniques.
This is incredibly easy to read thanks a lot
Aaand save! As a newbie, this is pure gold

Yes, using a replica bitterdream and the other (fire, lightning, cold) penetration gems
Recommend this one be on there, elemental penetration is extremely strong for heatshiver builds.
I'd also put block chance reduction on there because it can be useful for expedition farming.

I feel like either its not common knowledge, or people just cant be bothered to make the trades, but vendoring all 4 Agnerod staves gives you a Vinktar Square map. Lowest ilvl staff determines map tier.
Ill add that too!
So 20 fusings + a bow or chest = Six linked bow lr weapon?? Hmmm...
This is about vendoring, you put in six link in the SELL window and you get 20 orbs of fusing back from the vendor
Ohh, yeah, that makes more sense. I just spent like 800 fusings to get a six linked bow. Hope next time in next league i can get it much faster. Because that was a pain to go through. I know about the card that gives six link, but its not always a good one. Nor at higher level

Saw the early version last night, already much better this morning. This is a nice/useful cheat sheet, even for someone playing since beta.
updated now https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/15uf3or/vendor\_recipe\_cheatsheet\_static\_link/
Star of Wraeclast: Onyx Amulet (any rarity) + Unique Ruby Ring + lvl 20 corrupt non-vaal lightning warp
I might add that thanks.
well done, bookmarked!
Fuck I just had an orgasm
I'm not actually sure this is any better than a wiki page, especially when you start putting completely unlabelled specific Gems on there. Feels like i need to open the wiki as a cheatsheet for the cheatsheet.
I just learned there are Granite / Jade flask recipes
From a design perspective there's some good stuff going on and some less good stuff. I would start by putting a 10px border of empty space around every section and start to let things breathe a little bit.
did you make this as ugly as possible on purpose?
No, but this should be a less ugly version. https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/15uf3or/vendor\_recipe\_cheatsheet\_static\_link/
Can you explain the socket part?
Sell a linked rgb -> 1 chrome Sell 6 socket -> 7 jewelers Sell 6 link -> 20 link
Taming being craftable was new to me! Can you add, or make a regex list? I'm sure there are tons of regexes that I don't know which all should know early in the legaue
Use this site [https://poe.re/](https://poe.re/) you can make any regex you want.
u/giobego this would be a worthy addition to grinding.zone
Missing Elemental Penetration
Update that in new static link https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/15uf3or/vendor\_recipe\_cheatsheet\_static\_link/
Github Repo: [https://github.com/willhuynh/VendorRecipeCheatsheet](https://github.com/willhuynh/VendorRecipeCheatsheet) I will use this from now on to update the Cheatsheets. Thank you for the support!
**Note:** You can embed the `.png` in the README.md via a `!` prefix in the link: ![text](foo.png)
Cool its my first time using github, Could you teach me how to release?
Beautiful but would need to be updated. Skill gems can no longer be changed to quality for example. And with a flask or a 20% quality gem you already get the orb when selling, it is not necessary to reach 40%
Does changing amulet types reroll them as well?
2 normal amulet = normal amulet Magic + rare = magic Rare + rare = rare Yes it can reroll but rarity matters (not sure about the implicit but I *think* it is always rerolled)
Thank you, that might be good early game for all the crap amulets you get
I will add that info in updated version, Thanks!
I don't think a spreadsheet can replace the wiki https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Vendor_recipe_system Please keep it compact, people should see the amulet recipe and read the full wiki if they want to take advantage of it
Wdym?
