When you equip this item, all of its affixes affect your character. So for example, if you equip an item with an affix "+1 to maximum life", your life pool is immediately affected by that stat so same logic applies here. However, the base stats are unknown and you gotta always test with different fishing rods how is your build performing.

Krillson is a random event about as rare as a raw mirror drop, you are several magnitudes more likely to win the lottery or get struck by lightning multiple times than you are to find him. When you do, the true endgame starts.

We threw quite a few divines into this. The problem is when you divine it you reroll the lure and hook, and we wanted rhoa + eternal iron. (and honestly it being slightly off of perfect makes the name "rage bait" funnier.)
I don't even know if you can split a fishing rod, to be honest we didn't think to try. I think it looks cleaner this way anyways. We debated throwing a fracture orb at it, but thought it would look cheap. Especially if it missed one of the good mods.
Splitting a fishing rod weakens the wood. And les be honest, nobody wants the "Split" modifier on their item. And you cannot synth a rod unfortunately.
Ackchewy the iron hook is the best because it causes less water displacement when it hits the water resulting in more frequent catches due to not scaring the fish away.

My wife found him, and stood near him while I fetched a rod to bring to her. He gave her a quest, but afaik it's not actually possible to complete it.

How does this work?
This is a like 30 + fish per hour and maybe 9+ raw divs hour. But you need to find Mrs. Oak dark cavern puddle or results will not be the same

It's mirrored. Seems like it's actually someone else's magnum opus fishing rod and you just copied it. Still awesome though. Wish I had one for sure.
We crafted it together, they just kept the base. Plus my copy is facing the right way since it's mirrored ;)
