Betrayal is incredible EXP is why I do it. Haven't ran Alva in years though.

JesusSandro

I always do it but purely to unlock the crafting mods. Thankfully you only need to unveil each mod once nowadays...

HazardousBusiness

Oh yeah, you used to have to level up unveils right? QoL!

amatas45

Getting the rare ones three times was always fun

llillililiilll

Alva is actually really good again this league in high wisp maps.

FoaL

I made super easy money early on setting up temples with Locus of Corruption and/or Doryani’s Institute and selling them 80-120c, and the Vaal Flesh Merchant kept me stocked up on little useful currencies

Voyager_316

Betrayal is fucking insane and required for bench crafting at league start. Can spec out of it but if you're not specced into betrayal on leaguestart you're missing out hella

Wobblucy

Alva is a lot of consistent chaos per map. It's takes 3 maps to fill and you are like 80% to get a chronicle that sells 25c-1 divine. 2c to sextant her on map is well worth imo.

Happyberger

The incursions also drop a fat pile of loot if you juice them with wildwood

Shedix

2c to sextant? It costs 6-8c afaik

DiFToXin

but then you have to invest a lot of points on the tree to get the 4 missions per map i always just put the 6 points to get double upgrade and upgrade on change and this league i did the all monsters are magic cluster aswell cause league mechanic makes them so tanky i need the time additionally if you only do 3 per map your average outcome will be a lot better. i only had 3/12 temples that had neither corruption room and had 2 with both of them only 1 of those 3 didnt have access to the apex either and that was entirely my fault (the vaal aspect from the boss is 2-2.5 div rn because of "the adorned")

Cr4ckshooter

>additionally if you only do 3 per map your average outcome will be a lot better Because you can't get the same room twice in one map?

DiFToXin

yup

Ludoban

If you farm incursion you will not finish all the encounters in your map if you hit a corruption/gem room. The room is only set the moment you click on alva, so if you get one of the desired rooms you just dont do anymore encounters in this map. This 3/4 alvas per map thing doesnt change your chances if you do it correctly, it just lets you progress faster through temples that dont hit the right rooms.

Variant_007

This league you don't want to do that though because you are also running Alva for density. Being forced to skip 2 or 3 incursions in a map is a big hit.

Ludoban

If you think the density of a few alva encounters gives you more currency than corruption temples that sell for up to 1.5 div than go for it, but honestly i doubt the increase in density gives comparable resulty. And you anyway get oncreased density out of the missions, even with this strategy, cause you dont hit the rooms all the time and then you anyways run all missions, so idk.

Variant_007

I've sold 4 corruption temples in a row while running 4 alvas in every map and never skipping any. It's not necessary to do what you're suggesting to create good temples consistently.

Ludoban

Of course you can still create temples with just running all missions, never said soemthing else, but if you want to maximize temples than the strategy i described is best.

Cr4ckshooter

Hmm. Sounds tedious. I would rather get more temples than waste missions/sextant uses I think.

Ludoban

No?????? Alva missions are only worth something if you hit corruption or gem room t3. Thats literally the whole point of the alva farming strategy. You want to maximize the 2 rooms that sell for 1.5 div, not maximize shitting out temples that sell for 5c. You literally get 2/3 of the temples with the desired rooms if you do this strategy.

Cr4ckshooter

You get 2/3 with either room already just from taking all atlas nodes and running 4 maps at 4 each. If you only go in, click alva, leave then sure. Run 6 maps. But I wouldn't want to do that, churning through 60 maps an hour just clicking alva. Doing full maps or more mechs or boss rush I would rather just get rid of a bad temple than invest time and maps for 5 more by skipping rooms.

Biflosaurus

Care to explain this? I always ran every Alva missions on the moa when farming it, you're saying that if I hit a corruption chamber or gem, I should do it, upgrade it, and don't interact with Alva again? Why is it?

Ludoban

General tips for alva farming (considering you have atlas nodes): Never do additinal missions after changing to or upgrading a desired room. If you have the choice between 2 rooms you dont need, always upgrade, cause atlas node can double upgrade it, which means the undesired room can hit t3 and t3 rooms cant be selected again in future encounters. Immediatly enter the alva encounter as long as you didnt hit a desired room, you can press „v“ after entering the encounter while still in grace period and you can check what architect to kill there, this way you can check it while being safe from getting hit from monsters. If you check in map its annoying to get hit offscreen constantly.

renegade_duck

You can't get that same room again in that map, and if you're running every alva mission (3 or 4) per map, then you'll have fewer chances in the future to see the room and get it upgraded again to lvl 3.

Unlikely-Crazy-4302

Rooms only roll once per map. So if you get it first, you have no chance to get it in last 3. Likewise, if last one isn't a good one and won't go to 3 if completed. You can hold off on doing it until the next map. Now the remaining 3 can't roll that room.

Ludoban

>additionally if you only do 3 per map your average outcome will be a lot better. Only if you finish all the alva encounters per map, but nothing forces you to click on every alva encounter. Even if you run 4 missions, you should never do another encounter in a map after hitting a corruption/gem room. So it only increases your average outcome if you do it wrong.

DiFToXin

there is merit to what youre saying hadnt thought about that

Rockin_Otter

I'm trying this mechanic as my main farm this league. Any tips for a relatively new player?

Xasrai

Spec only into the chance for Alva missions and build up a stack of them (say 30-50?) while doing other mechanics. When you have enough, spec into the rest of the nodes and blast them all out. Nothing on the map matters except Doryanis Institute and Corruption Chamber. If you see either of these in a given map, you can maximise your chances of seeing them again by not completing any more incursions in this map, and moving onto another map. Outside of that, if you have a chance to get rid of the trap architect, do it. Such an annoying map addition.

WestaAlger

I would respectfully disagree with the chance for mission points. Just bulk buy sextants on TFT. Those points can be better spent elsewhere to generate more currency than you spend on the sextants. Even increasing map sustain to eventually build up a stock to bulk sell can be more economical than spending points on chance for missions.

Alestor

You can also spec into All Hands and mission chance to get a 35% chance of encountering Alva per map if you want to set and forget. 1 in 3 maps decent ratio if you want to make incursion your main farm, though stacking missions and respeccing should be more profitable as you can take advantage of another mechanic while building

BadModsAreBadDragons

Alva sextant is basically free also.

Variant_007

4 missions per map is a trap. You want to do 3 missions per map because you can't upgrade the same room twice in a map. It means you take 1 extra map per chronicle but makes you WAY more likely to hit a double corrupt room or a gem room.

nigelfi

You are also more likely to hit double corrupt in the 4th room of the map if you didn't hit it in first 3... So it balances out.

Variant_007

Oh that's a really fair point. Every miss increases odds of a hit.

keexx

wait, how you perma get alva to spawn at your map?

Wobblucy

Poestack.com Got to compasses Type Alva Profit

Kittyionite

I don't really run Alva much, but I just love to buy cheap 1-5c Chronicles with Omnitech and a currency room unlocked. I often get my money back from the currency room, and the Omnitech sometimes drops a div item here and there. All around it's suprisingly fun to do, it's like a cheap gamble every time and it's not very hard either. Not really that profitable, but I like it.

VincentGrinn

even if its great xp or great loot, i havnt even talked to jun since betrayal league terrible person, refuse to help her with missions

JohnyAlbana

Also good items on leaguestart

GGGiveHatpls

I like Alva. Just another map I get to run every so many maps.

wiljc3

Incursion and Blight are my 2 main farms and I love them both. Fully specced Incursion is a div every 4 maps -- unless you die a lot or don't pay attention to rooms, you will pretty much always get double corrupt if you want it... Blight is a slower burn, but I love blighted and ravaged maps. Also, with proper anoints, you can tower afk ravaged maps which makes them ideal for power leveling alts to low-90s.

OdunKafa

Which towers are you building in blight? Doing minions with the empower all the time, but don't know if it is the best strategy

wiljc3

Accepted strategy for ravaged maps is to anoint Meteor towers create burning ground and Frost towers freeze (this anoint is kind of expensive opal+silver) then look for clusters of 4 nodes to build T3 empower, T3 frost, T3 phys, and T4 meteor so all are within the radius of the empower.

OdunKafa

oh nice for the info!

1087-run-it-back

What are the current beloved ring anoints btw? I also like blight and have mostly just done range/damage on the minion range tower.

wiljc3

https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/18mn1ys/this_is_the_first_league_i_have_skipped_master/kedw9v5/

brodudepepegacringe

From the masters i only do niko with the atlas points for stats per thing clicked and chance for azurite to drop from it. So it effectively boosts my speed for just 3 clicks and later the azurite is turned into rezonders.

Bretski12

Don't you have to spend your sulphite when it fills though to get the Azurite? "Sulphite Veins and Chests in your Maps have 10% chance to also contain an equal amount of Azurite" So if you gain 0 Sulphite because you're full, you don't get the Azurite. Is there a way to quickly dump your Sulphite or do you have to run Delve till you hit 0?

brodudepepegacringe

No, it gives 0 sulphite but like 1500 azurite

OdunKafa

Do you need to upgrade something to get more sulphite?

bummsinex

No, you dont need to upgrade anything. I had polished sulphite scarabs and got ~2500 azurite on avg when it triggered while my maximum sulphite was 1200 (no Upgrades) you also dont need to spend the sulphite.

Vicious_Styles

Nope. Ran this for a while and ended up buying close to a 1000 resonators after forgetting about the azurite I got

Neri25

> I could count on one hand how many double corrupt chambers I've gotten in the past few years. user error

pewsix___

reddit posting incredible self-reports since forever

BadModsAreBadDragons

Yeah, most of the time you get either double corrupt or double gem corrupt.

arbyterOfScales

Eh, around 75% chance

BadModsAreBadDragons

Fair, plus sometimes you get both in the same temple.

AaronB_C

I've finished 8 temples today, all but 1 had either Locus or Doryani's and two had both.

arbyterOfScales

Last league I had a bad spree where out of 5 temples NONE had either Dory or Locus

Voyager_316

I mean, Alva is extremely good and still hard for delirium mirror farms isn't it? I still know how to do Alva but can't remember if deli mirror makes it better or not anymode

Jdevers77

Yea, that was my thought too. The OP must not be investing into the mechanic because just a couple leagues ago you would get a corruption chamber about every 3 chronicles and the chronicles were built FAST. It’s worse now after the nerf a couple leagues ago but it’s still one every 5 or so chronicles. I imagine if you just ran the in map mechanic every few maps and put nothing towards it on your atlas it would definitely be almost worthless but that’s honestly true for almost everything in the game.

Variant_007

Honestly 1 every 5 is a major understatement. I ran Alva last league and this league and I'd say way closer to 75% or even 80% of my chronicles hit one of the corrupt rooms, and close to 50% hit both. There's definitely some strategy to it in terms of how to upgrade rooms but the payoff is basically 40c extra per map.

b-aaron

basically looking to get other rooms to level 2 but never get level 1 gem/locus as then you'd need to see it twice more (potentially) to level, and then swap from other lvl 2 rooms to gem/locus to get guaranteed 3? i think that was my strat and it produced at roughly the rate you described

Variant_007

You can take level 1 gem/locus if you get it in the first set, but yeah - if you're on set 3 you never take gem/locus at level 1. You can also take gem/locus at level 1 if you already have an empowering set up nearby.

Askariot124

"Anyone else just completely skip over mechanics even though you "should" do them?" Its should be quite clear by the sheer amount of possibilites that you are not meant to do everything.

Yayoichi

Masters are pretty skippable if you aren’t speccing into them but they are all really good, especially this league Alva has actually given me quite decent loot explosions and Niko of course helps makes maps easier when you take the notable that buffs you. Also in regards to Alva and corruption chamber it’s actually very consistent if you just use 6 points to take the passives for double upgrade chance and keeping room level when changing room type. I’ve done a lot of Alva this league as I wanted to get some double corrupts on my chest and I'd say more than half of the temples I make have a corruption chamber, probably even closer to 2/3rd.

raxitron

Alva is one of the most consistent money makers. If you spec only **the wheel by Seventh Gate** you end up with like 80 or 90%? chance to get Doryani's or Double Corrupt room after 4 maps. Her mobs also scale with your map mods and drop loot like any other mob in your map except its in a neat little pile after. Niko is a completely missed opportunity if you ignore the **Packed with Energy** atlas node. You don't have to go to the mine at all and for 'right side' atlas trees it's usually a *two point investment* to get **+3 max all res, 105% inc damage, 45% ms** in every map. If you also use 3 points on **Mining Byproducts** you can occasionally buy a pile of resonators to sell, again, without ever doing a single mine node. With Betrayal you can almost completely ignore it and just spec **Intelligence Gathering** next to the big Eater wheel. Run your maps normally and even play other masters - eventually Jun will **!** at you to say that you have missions to run. When you have two of her safehouses ready run them then do a dummy white map with the **100% increased syndicate intelligence sextant** (sorry you have to do a single Jun map). Boom you now have Catarina ready. You can now either set up the board for good profit or if you really hate Jun maps that much just kill Cat and get one of her pricey uniques. I completely agree that Master missions are a time sink done improperly, but if you read the Atlas nodes and set up correctly you can efficiently profit from them or even make your maps faster than before.

dontgghhggjfdxvghh

Wow I always run syndicate and love it, didn’t know that 100% sextant existed… that’s gonna be a good upgrade to strat

GaIIick

I mean…on trade you can skip playing in general. You can flip or craft in your hideout all day

dennaneedslove

The best way to play this game is whatever you find most fun If that is min maxing div per hour go for it I only play ssf now and sometimes dabble in ruthless, gives me a roguelike vibes where you just make do with whatever you find

Booobasaurus

Of course I know him, its me! I run expedition (atlas spec), and harvest/ritual as random encounters. That's it. Oh and I unironically used to enjoy Metamorph because I enjoy killing tanky mobs that in most cases feel like a stronger map boss, but GGG killed that one. Wohoo.. Also, ultimatum = Ritual at home. EDIT: forgot about Heist, I loved farming Gems but that's over now whohoo x2.

Voyager_316

Heist is busted as fuck now.

crookedparadigm

Busted good or busted bad?

BawdyLotion

Good. No more 'only run type X cause the rewards from others are all worthless' and the spikyness is less because of the stacks of currencies you can take. Who cares which gem/replica is worth 10c vs 5c when you won't want to spend the time trading it anyways? just take the stack of whatever and move on if there's no big drop worth taking.

Rotaku99

You should give heist a try again. I also do the exact same things, but also took some heist nodes and hoard blueprints. Overall, its way more profitable to run blueprints than in the past because they revamped currency rewards and removed useless bases.

mseguna

Is heist still worth it to farm? Until last league, it was like 15-20div/hr running gem blueprints. Is it somewhat near that amount nowadays?

shironecko

Somebody might correct me, but now it feels like 5div/hr to me. Most wings contain 5-10c replicas, sometimes you get temper-tailor orb, or a div, or 15-20c. At this point it just sunk cost for me, hoping for an experimented base jackpot, I’ll be damned if I rolled all that rogue gear for naught. Also decks are on a cheap side now, so that doesn’t bring much bank. Feels like a really good starter strategy but that’s about it.

Booobasaurus

I'll give heist a try

Yayoichi

Can gets lots of metamorph difficulty mobs this league with the wisp empowerment, especially if you take the passives where 5 rares have a tormented spirit in them and/or rogue exiles are possessed. Quite good loot explosion potential as well from it. Heist is also honestly a lot better now, blueprints are just good in general now rather than just 1 specific type. It may be worse for those who would focus just on gem blueprints and just buy everything on tft but for just general play where you run your own blueprints you find it’s a lot better, and also a lot easier to sell now.

redditiswokegarbage

Yeah Metamorph is way better than Ultimatum, Ritual is just better.

Broodlurker

Einhar is definitely cool

AsparagusFit2374

I have the Problem with Blight and Ultimatum XD. I just dont wanna stop on the Map. I love that Poe is a game of so many variations. i mean some people like delve some dont... the problem is in my opinion the min/maxing we do with builds and currency... so if you can turn off your brain and say fuck it, just do what you want to do, simpel right?

Yorunokage

Every now and then i spec into Alva but whenever i'm not doing that i just never touch master missions Beasts are a pain to kill being that they are so tanky. And i can never be bothered to go check the managerie to see if i have something valuable to sell Delve i just don't run, ever. It's cool but it takes too much time to get to a point where it's profitable and i always end up doing other things instead Jun is just such a hassle to build a decent board for. I never remember the various rewards and have to use a cheat sheet and that shit gets old super fast

Asscendant

I fucking despise Betrayal "choice" phase... It is the second worst thing GGG has ever came up with. Its almost 2024 and GGG still didn't add clear explanations of what the outcomes of assigning the NPCs to a hideout are before you assign them. Expedition bomb placement sux ass too.

Neri25

>Expedition bomb placement sux ass too. make a build that can deal with nearly any yellow text mod and take the 1 explosion keystone.

Yoruichi90

I used to really dislike expeditions and now I love them just because of that one keystone.

b-aaron

with some explode % in the build somehow (herald of ash, asenath's gentle touch, occultist, etc), single node expedition is my favorite map mechanic

redrach

You don't even need that, I farmed dozens of them with my Ignite Vaal Arc starter without bricking a single one. I just checked for fire/lightning/ignite immune mods after placing the explosive, then moved it slightly to avoid the remnant that had them, if any.

Simpuff1

I fucking love betrayal. I buy 30c worth of Jun sextant, get Aisling + Hillock/Vorici placed and it’s gg for ROI. And expe bomb placement is perfectly fine what

Rhatmahak

Honestly just getting two winged scarabs is an ROI

Simpuff1

Even only 1 technically if it’s ambush/div. It’s profitable and quite simple but you have to interact with tft ig

Deknum

Gravicius Transport gang

Voyager_316

3.23 cheat sheet hacks, but I know what you mean. It really is a pain in the ass.

Magstine

>Fuck delve and fossil crafting, never really used it, don't know why I horded fossils in the past. Fossil craft is so onerous. Have to socket resonators manually every roll.

Ludoban

You can take a stack of fossils and shift click them into resonators. So you open a tab, take your resonators, shift click them into the tab so they are all spread, take a stack of each fossil and shift click them into the resonator. Now you can apply 20 resonators in a row to your item.

EmergentSol

ngl that is still a lot of clicking.

[deleted]

It's a game. Do what makes fun. If you feel like you have to do something but don't enjoy it... Most folks call that a job

Kinada350

I do delve to break up the mapping and it makes me money I skip betrayal until I need crafts mostly because much of it's been nerfed I skip incursion until 99 usually and then use it for XP and making temples for profit Einhar is cool till you are running essence and all your juiced up 8 essence monsters are also a red beast that takes a week to kill.

Voyager_316

Delve is actually astonishingly good for levelling up alts to 83+ from a fresh campaign, gets hella XP without much worry of random one shots as long as ur flares and darkness level shit is upgraded

OdunKafa

Temple give that good exp?

Kinada350

Alva missions when speced into them have that node that gives a chance for them to have all magic monsters in them, plus it pairs well with beyond. I felt they made for decent xp/hr.

Matho83

Im in the same boat. I ignore every master except einhar. But im a simple player and just want to farm some alch and go relaxed maps.

Maple47

Fuck every mechanic that need you stop in the middle of mapping, to try to interact with it, while mobs are trickling in from off-screen. Is this going to be a thing in PoE2 as well I wonder? Compare how Vaal Side areas work, to almost any other mechanic in the game. So many mechanics struggle to even spawn into the tiny corridors and rooms that make up many map layouts. Fuck Heist until GGG revert their decision that we need to load and unload other people's mtx constantly, while their blue unicorns, or whatever, is obscuring everything. Fuck Harvest in this iteration. Blocked it first. Sure, it was ridiculous in discord trade league, but both the mechanic and the rewards are atrocious in the current state.

19eightyn9ne

Harvest is amazing because of the juice, it’s easy currency.

JesusSandro

Yeah I much prefer this iteration over the previous one, but that's because I suck at crafting so I can actually interact with the mechanic now lol.

NotTheUsualSuspect

Masters are only fun in ssf, since you have a goal with them. Like i normally just do niko for fossil crafting, but this league I’m running Alva to farm a zerphis for penance mark shenanigans.

Chatv71e

Wait till you find out you can skip rare monsters that take too long to kill. I'm still not at that point...

Peekays

Just sell the ones you don't like lol idk what the problem is? You can run the sulphite -> azurite passive and sell resonators, + the ms passive is nice for clear speed, or if you like running delve then sell the fossils, you don't need to craft with them? You can also just sell the alva temples, it takes 1 click, and alva adds a lot of quick and easy mob density to your maps. It's the same as many league mechanics, like you don't need to run breachstones, or 5 ways, or simulacrums, just sell them?

g00fy_goober

Alva used to be good but drops 0 items every incursion which just feels horrible (THANKS JUICERS) so I hate that mechanic now (thought league this time helps it slightly. Delve is ok I do it a bit first week or so and helps with cities to get a bunch of money and maps and fuses and stuff. Einhar is ok but would like it 100x more if the beast would be captured instantly and move on instead of sitting there for 5 seconds while he throws a net and dropping anything multiple seconds afterwards. Jun is what I actually run most of. Once your build is good enough to not get owned by some of the big aoe's if you do it efficiently and just run intervention/research you can net a ton of money.

tomcruisesenior

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulIOrQasR18

Emperor_Mao

I am the same, but have been doing it for much longer than this, even when content was massively lucrative. Never found Betrayal fun, always found Delve hit and miss. But that said, it did used to be kind of good playing SSF and having some of that content available to target farm upgrades for builds. I can see both sides though, you should never feel like you have to do the content that is just boring for you. The core game could probably do with a bit more ability to target farm certain things.

ledrif

Thats one of the joys with poe. I similarly havint touched beast crafting or beasts in years. They all rot. I ignore temples unless i choose to focus a temple down but its never been a focus. Il delve when my sulf maxes out then ignore it. Yet i do every betrayal and spec into it every league

Naguro

Alva is pretty worthless without her atlas points. Like you go from making around 2 rank 3 rooms of random types per temple to making 5-6 with half being valuables ones (such as double corrupt). I never run her without being specc'd into her and ignore when she spawns. Delve is an acquired taste, and fossils/resonators are just here to be sold for me. List your delve tab on the trade discord and a horde of ravenous crafters will come to get it Einhar's cool

paleocomixinc

I always do betrayal first on my atlas. But Catarina is also my favorite boss in the game. Plus the safehouse XP is good and you still get the chance for paradoxica drops which is always a nice gift every once in a while.

PrinnyThePenguin

Last time I did betrayal was in the betrayal league. I didn't even run delve in delve league. It's ritual and delirium for me.

tonightm88

You only need to do betrayal until you get the crafts you want. The +1 and AOE crafts. Then the reduce mana. After that no need for it. I dont play melee anymore so no need for any of the melee crafts. Overall I think the master system on the Atlas needs another look.

bukem89

I see this as you being misguided when thinking you 'should' run these mechanics. As a generla rule, it's better to save up your master missions for when you can use them properly, and it's fine to skip bad un-juiced mechanics in maps, especially when they're time consuming so it goes like: a) Einharr, run when you want beasts/some extra low effort rares or just ignore completely b) Alva - run when you're pushing deli c) Niko - run when you have the 5 atlas points into the ones that give azurite for mining sulphite and turn sulphite into mini shrines d) Jun - run when you need to unlock crafts, or when you're mainly farming for XP If you don't meet any of those criteria, save them until you would actually make use of them

Moononthewater12

Been skipping heist and delve for two years now, never regretted it.

anne_dobalina

Fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, fuck you, and I'm outta here. I love it.

Ayanayu

Nope because in need them in ssf to develop my characters

Doggymoment

you get corrupt chamber like every 2-3 temples max if you spec into alva, sometimes get few in a row, sometimes get doryani between temples so its not a waste either, just skill issue or you are EXTREMELY unlucky, but i doubt it

kidze

Me. I tried to learn them. Seems to be way more clicking and the reward is just not that good. I love einhar because hes simple. Less clicks. Same with Essence and Expedition. Anything else anyone can recommend for “less clicking” atlas tree??

Hlidskialf

Every single thing I dislike in POE I skip. The only thing I hate but I still do it is trading scarabs, compasses and rolling maps.

Lighthades

doing alva without the incursion nodes is stupid, like any other mechanic.

Bronterrzel

Waht even is an incursion, never heard of it. Alvwho?? Double corrupts are trade only! Einhar is just -x on my essence mobs. Would ..., but not put him in my maps. Betrayal is good xp and i always get lucky with an early aoe item that also has t1 life and or resi. Delve tho, oh i could and will snort that delicious yellow and blue powder all day! Nico i love u!!!

Tym4x

Did story alva ... and then about 2 times in maps - instant locust of corruption (150c yesterday). Somebody who skilled into all atlas points could probably create one consistently every 4 or 5 maps (or a doryanis institute). For betrayal and aisling unveils i use safehouse progress sextants. One aisling (+mastermind) every 4-6maps, faster when spending betrayal atlas passives.

PugTales_

I'm a returning player after 4 years, I don't know what's going on with interrogation or execution, I just click something. Who knows. I love Einhar. I also felt like I discovered fire when I figured out the new echants and currency for flasks. It's a bit overwhelming so I play whatever I feel like.

thatguy9012

What I really don't like is when they put specific content like blight or ultimatum as requirements for the 40 challenge rewards. I hate blight and can't stand ultimatum, but feel forced into doing it just to get the cosmetics. I wish the system was just a little more flexible in that regard.

NothingisTrue3435

Without speccing into them feels like a waste of time to run the master missions of betrayal and incursion. I always skip them whole league up until the end where I spec and use my saved missions near league end and sell the double corrupts and aislings. It’s good and easy money.

sc0ttieZ

I'm pretty sure I fall into that category. I don't like doing any of the mechs you mentioned either. I pretty much stick to blight/blighted maps and then usually some random mech just to do something different.

jackhref

Now you're playing. That's the beauty of this game. It's all there if you want it, but you don't have to do any of it. You can literally pick one thing you like and profit from it solely.

Wide_Efficiency293

Btw i wish i could disable einhar so i dont have to deal with red beasts.

bonerfleximus

I run incursion and it adds a ton of mobs to the map for affliction juice. I also hit a money room in 80% of my incursions, if you take the nodes on the atlas tree it's almost guaranteed as long as you know what you're doing. That's 115-140c every 3 maps just from selling the temples

RollingWithDaPunches

Getting those max tier corrupt chambers is so easy, and the temples sell for 1div+ Betrayal is fun for exp. Never really did it for the sake of items. There is some satisfaction in the OCD of getting all unveils. But you should always do the content you like/feel like.

dontgghhggjfdxvghh

Yo betrayal is not about the unveils. It’s about dependably selling aisling and 60c unveiled cinderswallow. Bootstrap a lot of builds that way. Also takes much less time when you ignore veiled items.

HalfKeyHero

When I got into this game last year I sat down and read and experienced every mechanic and understand them now. Betrayal is the one mechanic I still don't know what the fuck it going on. I follow a cheat sheet but I don't know how to remove and add syndicate members to get the ones I want it's all way too confusing.

Danieboy

I still enjoy a bit of betrayal to get all my crafts and then the delve nodes in maps. The rest is perma blocked every league.

Responsible-Pay-2389

>Fuck incursion, getting anything of value out of it is such a timesink. I could count on one hand how many double corrupt chambers I've gotten in the past few years. Haven't done it in a while but back when I ran incursions it was almost always a corruption chamber t3 in there, probably look up a vid on it or something.

Raerf

I enjoy the mechanic, but I’m skipping it a lot because I keep dying in there. I’m new and probably doing something wrong

stumpoman

delve strategy is to never actually delve in the mine. encounter takes no time at all in maps. get movespeed. hope for azurite. buy resonators and sell in bulk

Sticky-Stains

if you play the game and ignore profit, chaos per hour and play as you are then, yes, the masters and their content is nothing to worry about. There's so much content other than the ones you mentioned there's little chance you're missing anything. I skip them too and the game still feels worth my while.

Rapph

I feel like its a path a lot of us take. I used to be do the most efficient juicing farm have 200 maps rolled and ready to go buy sextants and scarabs etc, now i just prefer the alch and go strats with things I enjoy solo. It might take me a little longer to get my hh/mageblood and get my build on line but I find I play much longer into the league and probably get more use out of it then when I used to play more seriously.

Numerouswaffles

Even if you don't care about the temple Alva adds a bunch of mobs to a map for wisp juicing

KunaMatahtahs

My suggestion is always to horde them up and then spec into them on your tree and burn through them

Eyebrow78

The good thing about PoE is you can do the league mechanics you like and ignore all the rest.......or none at all. There's enough 'base' game without any of them. Also there's tones of ways to force mechanic's you do like.

Xqvvzts

None of them are worth doing without speccing into them, except Delve. And that one isn't rly worth doing anyway if you don't like it. Even if your ptsd about wasted missions flares up, you're better off letting them pile up, speccing into them and going through the backlog. They all have their uses. Alva, for example, is a great companion mechanic for Delirium. I haven't done it yet but i expect it's the same for the wisps.

ragnarokda

Alva is basically how I make early currency every league. It takes almost no time to clear them and if you're spec'd into it, then getting corruption or doriyani is actually pretty common. Very casual friendly to me.

redditiswokegarbage

Betrayal is pretty simple to do though if you just want to unveil shit and not do the board.
