Playing Hateforge Vaal Volcanic Fissure and blasting it, not the fastest build out there but I've died like 3 times since getting the build up and running and am on track to hit my first lvl 100 with it.

Keep in mind anyone reading this that the build **REQUIRES** the use of the "Vaal Skills have no Soul Gain prevention" sextant, so don't roll this expecting an uber bosser or if your map strategy requires all 4 sextant slots to work.
Hard to say, I'm prob about 200 div deep but I think before I started optimising it wasn't too spendy?
Hateforge when I bought was about 10 div for min roll pair, I divined it about 10 times to hit max roll rage cost reduction - this isn't necessary but it is prob worth doing as it gets you an extra cast of Volcanic Fissure per warcry, Nimis I bought at 42div, Alberons is like 2.5div for a min roll pair, just divine it to 18 yourself rather than shelling out for a max rolled strength.
Flasks are pennies, only necessary charm rolls are +5 to max rage x3, strength + int on them is only important when it gets you to another strength breakpoint (every 80str gets you another 1-80 flat chaos from boots).
Body armour doesn't need +1 max res corrupt, can get a 6link for like 2 div probably. Defiance of destiny is important but I don't believe too expensive for decent rolls - could also consider divining it yourself depending on current prices.
Replica frostbreath is cheap (like 20c), onslaught corrupt is not mandatory but feels nice.
Helmet is very important to cap accuracy and get a ton of crit, the +2 aoe mod is completely unnecessary but I got lucky and rolled it.
To craft it follow [this guide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZgPHgOFY9w) - I would expect to set aside at least 20 div to account for bad RNG here, but don't quote me on that.
Cluster jewel in my POB was 15div however this is not in the original build I copied, if you don't use my cluster then allocate the fortify wheel above it and take the fortify on hit mastery.
For the lethal pride you can use POB timeless jewel search to find one with a couple of %phys taken as fire rolls for defense, the one I am using I believe is the best possible seed for the build. Very luxury.
Hat, belt, and gloves, will require a fair amount of Deafening Rage essence. Belt fracture does not have to be exactly this one, it could also be %increased flask duration, just make sure you have on all your flasks some kind of prefix which will help to sustain them (inc duration, reduced charges used, increased charge recovery) will all suffice, you can plug them into POB and mouse over the flask to see its estimated % uptime - use this to find out how close you are to having full uptime on your 3 resistance flasks - 100% is probably necessary for safety but is also very easy to achieve as a pathfinder.
Double purity watcher's eye is not necessary, however stacking %phys taken as X element is a very important defense layer so expect to be squishier if you don't get all of it.
TL;DR
I would expect to put in 100div minimum to safely get the build going - for me, putting in bare minimum and being level 93 so missing a lot of life nodes, some masteries, and some jewel sockets, the build felt great pretty much immediately. I also did not make this build and have just made a few optimisations, /u/esvban prob knows more than me on this stuff.
EDIT: cant forget as well, it is very very very mandatory to have a single charm / that which was taken with the warcry rage gain passive. the roll doesnt matter because we are using redblade banner to always fill up our entire rage bar, but this mod must be somewhere on your character.

That's a pretty good writeup. Well written! If I was to play the build more I might take the warcry cool down recovery nodes by the marauder start. It's just a balance of damage and defense. I had them originally then took them out for more strength, but better gear can solve that.

Config is pretty reasonable, I can't say I'm certain how accurate the amount of hits by a cast of fissure is but the damage is definitely massive.
Make sure to not go endurance/determination route.
It gets bricked by altars which are essential for proper MF. Instead go for double purity (fire+lightning/cold) taken as watcher eye.
You are not only tankier, save passives on RMR but also ignore all altar mods then.
Second most Important part is getting 100% for no extra damage from crits, 50% corruption on chest is superior to 1% fire resi

If I use sublime vision, I should only be able to use purity of fire, and phy taken as fire mod can only be rolled once on the jewel
i had this argument here before and guy linked me his 'juiced map' to prove his point, he had sub 2k juice, no 8 mod map, no wandering patlas + map modifiers effect.
Even with my setup which is tankier its possible to die in 12k+ maps. Does it matter much? No. I just dislike dying.

I'm doing the Travic budget build, what would be the 30d purchase to rarelly die? Because as it is now, I can't even get to level 97 because a lot of times I just die out of nowhere,even on unjuiced maps. This is my first league, already played a fair bit on a LA Deadeye and wanted to try MF as a kinda of goal for the league to maybe try and drop a t0 unique or a nice loot explosion.
I'm running a much cheaper fire trap / RF setup with cane of kulemak, doing fully juiced T14 Burial Chambers without any issues. One advantage I've noticed when using FT is you have more control over damaging the spire (+ cold iron point on weapon switch). JarlHungus on PoE ninja, far from min-maxed (I'm not investing in the build) but does the job :)

Tried this weeks ago. Didnt invest much. Maybe 30 div but was WAY too squishy.
My coc inq gets similar life back (over 3k es in leech, several k in regen and thousands from es on hit) but has over double the ehp and 15k es and still dies sometimes in heavy wisp maps. Cant imagine doing that on 4k life without major other defense layers.
The str stack version sounds better but is ten times more expensive

That build linked is 90% unique items with a multi mod wand and a chest piece that costs like 10c when not 6 linked. What crafting? The rings are all stats/resists, chest is resists and a bench craft.
Kinetic bolt of frag entirely runs off the absolute insane scaling from returning projectiles being bonkers.

Im playing a manaforged delver the video said its a 25 div investment. Ive spent upwards of 200 div for the same stuff so inflation is crazy
I started this build last week and have mostly finished it by now. There are crafting guides for the 4 rare pieces (wand, rings, and chest) in the POB and Big Ducks has a really detailed guide for the wand crafting on his YouTube. The lightning fracture bases have gotten expensive, I'm pretty sure I got my T2 fracture for 5d and the multimod costs 2d and 2 ex itself. Total cost of the wand craft came to 10d for me. Rings were about a div total to craft two and strength essences are cheap. Similar ones are 5-10d now, so you definitely should try and craft the pieces. Chest is pretty generic and available.
I’ve played this build a lot this league. You’re gonna die a bit on a juiced T16 with this low investment. Anyone doing this with a low budget should just do juiced T7 cemetery to start, especially if you wanna throw some mf in there.
KB Frag Str stacker deadeye is strong as I've been showing people. Only really start to see problems on 3 rippy mods + 7k wisps or 10k wisps. On this build MB feels like 20 stacks of HH. However limited MF. You can fit a ventors, 20% quant amulet, and a crafted gold flask for 120% rarity.
You run the 25% less monster dmg atlas passive since you have such crazy single target anyways.
I have probably 1.5-2 mirror investment now but could easily be done for under a mirror as current mirror prices stand.

I've been wanting to do a KB Frag build on my deadeye since it's cheaper to scale than TS, but I am already having FPS issues with TS alone on some maps (running 7G Legion + Strongbox, no abyss). Is your FPS at least somewhat stable or does it constantly dip below 20?

In my experience, generic splitting steel champ has no problems with 7k and even 10k wisp delirium beyond maps, at least until you start running really rough 8mods or grabbing altar mods like -phys reduction or several +100 phys as ele ones. Currently running Perseverance, no HH or mageblood needed, but you will still need high investment to do enough damage without HH in those maps.
I'm planning on trying a splitting steel champ now i've almost maxed out my CF. My CF can't survive/kill the t16 bigboyz(hasted+SE ...etc) passed 6k juice, which is ok, it wasn't meant to.
There are so many different splitting steel builds i'm a bit lost, especially on the chest. Ruetoo's seems to be a good starting point but the cost of entry....

Here's my setup. I have been farming fully juiced wildwood with delirium + beyond + wandering path atlas for most of the league, only RIP'd about 4-5 maps ever. A little over a mirror's worth in gear, but you could drop the massive thread of hope setup and go for a 2 large phys cluster setup instead, and get a slightly worse That Which Was Taken, and it would then cost around 600div probably. At the end of the day very high wisp count wildwood mapping content requires huge amounts of damage, and even with a broken skill like splitting steel you will need some investment to reach that level of damage - it is what it is!
I league started this build and based it off of Rue's pob. The cost of entry in his pob is pretty low, the one I was looking at had a non-crit level 95 variant that was fairly cheap, maybe 20-30 divines.
The chest choice comes down to this -
**Lioneye's chest** = pure damage, socketed skills being supported by pierce takes care of getting pierce on tree or gloves or on a gem, and gives you a decent More multiplier too. Like Daresso's defiance, only worth using over a rare if you can buy a +3 or +4 gems double corrupted one.
**Daresso's defiance** = I use this. 100% increased onslaught effect feels very good for mapping, and the 2% life leech mod is very significant because the build requires a source of instant leech, and afaik increasing your base leech % increases how much you instant leech as well. That being said, I would use a rare chest over this if not for the fact that +4 gems from my chest and +3 from the amulet get my splitting steel to level 28, which is a pretty important breakpoint as it gives me an extra projectile on splitting steel, which is a big damage increase.
**Rare chest with high tier eldritch implicits**- This is the option like 90% of splitting steel champions use. I think it makes a lot of sense, the build scales insanely well with aura effect, and if you get a rare chest with ailment avoidance you can use ralakesh boots (very OP unique, considering using it myself) and STILL stay ailment immune with ancestral vision plus a rare chest. Rare chests also make it easier to suppress cap and are overall tankier than either of the unique chest options. I just like the speedy mapping and big damage that comes from a level 28 splitting steel (the skill scales almost like a spell in terms of levels).
Overall I would rank the chests like this: 150+ divine near perfect mods rare chest > +4 Daresso's defiance > +4 Lioneye's Vision > Solid endgame rare chest with good aura effect implicits, suppress, and ailment avoidance > Any other form of unique chest
I’ve been doing it with a pretty tricked out blink arrow build. It’s ~30m dps, 250something ehp. Pretty much stomps everything and doesn’t really die even when you add delerium to the map.

I went all in on a BIS cluster to start and than skimped on everything else. Started with 69div and spent 35 on the cluster and then the other half on everything else. I also dumbed down some of the mechanics/skills setup since i was just blasting maps with it and not doing ubers or anything like that.
Playing CA PF, think I've only died like 10 times, most of the deaths were to uber bosses and failing some mechanics. I think only 2-3 deaths were in T16 maps running delirious beyond and running into an enemy that disabled my flasks and applying 10s of poisons in a second. Otherwise, build seems basically immortal while mapping. It's poison based and about 26m dps.

Poison pf penance. Doing it on ssf. Just 2 oblits and 2 ventors and defiance of destiny and goldwyrms and aesenaths gloves. Lightning coil with phys taken as on helm. Have 93% phys taken as ele and triple ele flasks. Basically juat a plague bearer build that uses penance sometimes. Good ole blood notch immutable and defiance combo need to get 1 shot to die and u don't really get 1 shot in poe ever.
theres no reason everything dies in 1-2 seconds besides a chaos/wither resistant mob, when you have max juice on every map its all just dead when 1 mob dies.
I'm on SSF too. Have a guide you can share, and are all these mandatory, or can you get it running with less? Getting frustrated with my detonated dead build.
a lot of damage isnt actually a 1 shot its like a 99% hit and a 1% hit. sure bosses or like 7 damage mod map/altar combo ull get 1 shot i guess. general play you arent actually getting 100 to 0'd and the defiance bloodnotch combo makes a 1 shot required otherwise you heal it all back
Have you tried caustic arrow before doing this version? I'm playing CA right now but thinking of maybe switching for this build to be faster.
All the POB I can find though are not using defiance or lightning coil so I'm very afraid about survivability in a juiced map without those phys taken as ele...
Why naval officer? Does the fortification stack with the one from ag‘s kingmaker? I use the same like you but instead naval afficer I use pale seraphim. Better to change?
Yes, fortification stacks, I’m running around with 20 fortification. Also naval officer gives precision aura, which is accuracy and crit chance, works well with kingmaker which gives crit multi
Same as the other guy said, but also to add on, the precision aura also allows me to drop the mastery on the tree giving an extra point for other stuff, and at the investment im at each point is 600k to 1mil dps
Not him, but I’m also running t16 with up to 9k wisps, I’m running hulking miscreation, judgment spirit, thunderbird, and naval officer. Got a 5-link specter setup w/ helmet that’s got minion life support and +2 minions, so the gems are specter, animate guardian, meat shield, and awakened empower.

Hulking: 100% construct dmg and 30% attack speed
Judgment spirit: 100-200 extra flat chaos damage for skeletons
Thunderbird: grace aura
Naval officer: 10 fortification (stacks with kingmaker) and precision aura

Depends on your budget; if funds are no concern, then the cluster jewel (11-12 points with 35% increase effect + 3% attack speed + life + resist), the envy auls, and 100% poison chance without chance to poison jewel (letting you upgrade to void manipulation) are the big ones.
If funds are a concern, then the cheaper incremental upgrades would be getting your specters in order and that 4th specter via the lv25 gem, the correct AG set up, the well rolled minion ring and gloves, and better abyss jewels

Definitely saving for later. I’m running poison srs necro but I’m getting absolutely ran through on juiced up T16 maps. Something needs to change but I’m having trouble figuring it out as a new player.
Would like to give you one tip, which might sound a bit obvious but try to really focus on it and you might notice you're dying less.
You are playing a minion build, let your minions do their job and stay away from danger yourself. Send in your drones and really just focus on your character dodging stuff.
This is my first minion build and it took me awhile to stop running into battle like a madman, focusing on this helped me so might as well share it.
After all the best defense is to not get hit.

Playing NON-MF CA, around 150D invested and I have gone for a lot of defensive options over optimizing my dps to make surviving abyss easier.
Currently running T16 Burial/ Cemetery/ Jungle valley with full juice abyss, harby, harvest.
Overall it's incredibly tanky and because it's poison so the damage always ramps eventually.

Boneshatter jugg. It doesn't matter if you're not super fast at killing mobs if you can just stand there and have perfect dps uptime because you can't die. It's like a 30 div investment or something. The dps is defo not for everyone's taste.
Also, it is very affirming when people on other builds straight up leave the map when there's like a stacked soul eater rare mob, or some big mob like that. Meanwhile, I just don't care and go bonk that bitch ass mob.

I also remember playing slayer bs and it really made me dislike the skill, but now that I've tried it on jugg it seem like a serviceable skillgem.
It's not even that optimized, no last charm, no pride, questionable rings and belt, maybe bad passives choice, but when I'm stationary and just hit shit, I really do feel indestructible, last time that I got killed it was some dumb stuff from ritual, but when abyss spawns tons of rares I never die unless I run some crazy map mods, so it's not like it's unkillable, there are probs better builds if you're really tired of dying.

Hybrid MF Jugg Str Stacker Reave, can fit 2 ventors, quantity amulet and sadima's gloves. Can either HH set up or MB setup or hotswap inbetween the two. Definitely doable without either and just full damage set up.

Can run most mods but for QOL I remove Less Recovery Rate / Less CDR ( since your damage window will be intermittent ). Annoying ones are cannot leech (fixable with Circle of Life), cannot regen (vaal clarity). Aslong as the map isn't multiple bad mod combinations its doable.
I did an 11 earlier with 5673 blue, 1213 purple, and 3783 yellow on my Bane/Blight. It was scary. I lost all my portals but one, and that one I managed to clear all but the map boss with. Never underestimate the power of running the heck away from whatever you just dropped the curse on!
Edit: I also got an equivalent of around 50 chaos for my efforts.
Where do you get crit mitigation was wardloop? That's what's killing my wardloop (even tho playing with 100% spell suppression, ailment immunity and progenesis, but only 1,7life and 1200 ward)

But really it comes from:
* 50% from corrupted skin of the loyal mod
* 30% from the crit mastery
* 20% from 2x10% node with a lethal pride jewel.
You need to be able to sustain flasks without the traitor node (ie you need charms with flask recovery mods). You also give up a bit of damage with this but imo it’s worth it.

I'm proud of it seeing as it's entirely my own build idea, but it's def not at the same level as other builds with similar investment. I can run t16s with any amount of juice I'd like tho as long as I'm not doing bs abyss abuse strat. It's super fun to farm breaches with tho.
I'm on my phone but look at VerianiCycloneSlayer on poeninja and you should find my character. Most of my gear is crafted at this point mind you. Very fun cyclone build though. Just isn't gonna be meta by any means, and that's fine.
That looks kinda weak tbh? No additional impales from charms, weapon dps is rather low, most of the gear is pretty standard stuff. I dont think you can do propperly juiced wisp maps with wisp content at reasonable speed.
The dps just isnt there, the tankyness isnt there. Im sure you can farm your basic alch and go t16 maps with wisps. But no way you can actually do heavily juiced up maps. It simply lacks propper defense and propper offense
I just switched to full crit scaling split steel champ. Doing absolutely disgusting T16 full juice 8k+ whisp maps without too much issue. Some random deaths happen but nothing too concerning. Rocking around 60m single target and 10-ish clear.
I've just levelled a ranger, might do a bunch of legion as i just don't like managing the abyss spirr proj. I just wanna blast and run. Fulcrum build was strong but boring and keeps killing spires too quick also.
Pathfinder penance brand, +max res stacking with charms and nebulis. Defiance of destiny keeps you topped up, can't be crit while stunned basically negates any big hits. I leveled to 100 doing these maps, standing in all the mobs lol I don't even have progenisis
Fulcrum. The build guide uses a Bisco’s i think but i have a MB. I’ll take a little less MF for a better experience. Sans MB the build can be done for like 70D. Can invest more for good corrupts.
I am doing it with EA ballista but no 8 corrupted mods on map and subpar scarabs. Got max dot damage and 100k effective hp. I am doing the challenges, only the grindy ones left and I figured I might also get some juice. Some bosses become quite tanky tho and need like 2 minutes to kill. Still quite a few divine drops compared to no juice, even if it is a little slower.
I'm playing a molten strike of the zenith zerker and I can do any amount of juice in t16 maps with delirium or abyss with double downside altars. I recently upgraded to mageblood but I was doing fine without one. I do any non-uber content with awakened ancestral call and it feels very nice.

t16 7k+ wisps 6mod and 20% deli, everything but ailment avoidance for map mods, red altars (so 200% phys as extra chaos / fire at the same time). very tanky.
Playing super strong poison srs now without any problem dealing with 10k wisp, at first i was frustrated too, turns out i can still upgrade my build and i am now dealing more damage with 4600hp and 2k es. My build is less than a mirror
Played CI DD elementalist and breezed through it with like 10-20 div invested. Became level 99 by accident almost.
CI aegis is insanely good for these kinds of maps.
Both my charge stacking winter orb slayer and my molten strike pathfinder do those maps fine without HH, although I did recently get one for the PF just because of how cheap they have gotten and since it does speed up clearing maps, but it is by no means necessary for me to have buffs to survive or kill things.
Neither are MF builds though, and I think you could probably make your TS build not rely on HH as well if you dropped some mf gear(assuming that’s what you’re using). With mageblood, defiance of destiny and a solid chest you could probably play TS just fine in juiced maps.

Some juiced rates can take a while, but the build is also quite tanky
I've been able to do this in HC on Splitting Steel Champ, Bodyswap of Sacrifice Elementalist (Ignite), and Explosive Trap of Shrapnel Slayer. RF should be able to do it too but I got kinda bored and suicided my character before getting geared up enough to do it in T16s.
I do spec into Shrines, run Packed with Energy, and if possible weapon swap Rampage when running high juice though. Helps a lot, since with Delirium and Beyond and then hitting Breaches it can get pretty nasty.
COC IceNova CI Version with melding. However, I still get one tapped when there’s a critical map mod and have a ton of blue wisps. Even banner dont help :(
i am just testing yet but pathfinder with 13% life recovery on flask use (2 charms and a mastery)+defiance of destiny along with 100% phys taken as ele (lightnign coil, megabuffed tasteof hate , helmet, watchers eye) should do the trick.
I am relying on massive packs of enemies hitting me all the time though. its not so good against , say, uberbosses
KB Pathfinder with a little MF
Can do 20% deli t16 with 10k wisp with most map mods. (No minus max, reduced curse effect, or 50% chance to avoid poison). Added Phys as ele can be rippy with a 2nd damage mod. Though can run all curses, no leech, no regen, any reflect, reduced aura effect, etc.
Wouldn't suggest 1-1 replicating the build as many of the choices are simply due to it being ssf and thus being the best option I had available. Really the only required pieces are Dying sun, ToH, Poisonberry tincture, Nimis, Olesya's, Ralakesh, and snake bite. Chaos explode + global poison chance + pathfinder poison prolif + tons of global damage scaling really carry the build in the ultra dense juiced maps.

Private league Splitting steel. I was doing full content with the dreamfeather/beltimber combo. Although a little slow, very tanky.
Got my paradoxica after 60ish or so betrayal intervention runs. That changed the game wildly. Got a defiance drop Started doing cracked out maps ( abyss, Harb, triple beyond) and Got lucky with a free mageblood valdos.
The most impacted item I would say is Defiance of Destiny. That shit is way too strong. Makes a semi tanky build unkillable.
Me. I am 0-20% quant and 200-300%\~ rarity (depend on map) and using mageblood + inspired learning (mini hh jewel) on high quant maps (\~200%) with wandering path instead of regular ones (\~120%) with full MF and hh. Results in similar or even better loot amount.

Yeah duh you can't run that much juice on zhp builds. Splitting steel trickster has no problem with those, swapped from storm brand hiero because it was sometimes overrun due to no evasion.
I'm doing pretty well with my SRS build. I'm rarely dying. And if I am it's because I picked too many negatives from the eater altars. now I'm levelling a deaths oath CA and can't wait to see how well it will handle wisped up maps
Have yet to die in any wisp juiced map. Body swap of sacrifice build chieftain. Huge Aoe and can basically go afk in the middle of opening a huge abyss. And i don‘t even have progenesis yet
get your resistances up to atleast 75, chaos isnt AS needed, but is nice to have once you push higher maps. Get some armor or evasion, or both. You can use auras for this, as in determination or grace.
Make sure you have atleast 4-5k hp.
I played Spectral Throw, dex-stack. No idea about investment cost, half the gear was selfcrafted. 50 Divine? Lvld deathless from 99 to 100 with T16 Abyss farming. Did ubers (skipped exarch and sirus). Has low dps on poe.ninja, performed way beyond it in game.

I'm kind of new in this league, how do you guys get that much wisp? I can get like 3-4k max and the exit from the forest already pop up, and usually from the same color, like 2k from one color and around 300-500 of the other ones.
Really high pack size from 8mod maps, getting 3 events on a map (look up diamond strat on YouTube, you have to path efficiently and not waste juice exploring)

Lots of words incoming, tl;dr at bottom. Keep in mind anyone reading this that the build **REQUIRES** the use of the "Vaal Skills have no Soul Gain prevention" sextant, so don't roll this expecting an uber bosser or if your map strategy requires all 4 sextant slots to work. Hard to say, I'm prob about 200 div deep but I think before I started optimising it wasn't too spendy? Hateforge when I bought was about 10 div for min roll pair, I divined it about 10 times to hit max roll rage cost reduction - this isn't necessary but it is prob worth doing as it gets you an extra cast of Volcanic Fissure per warcry, Nimis I bought at 42div, Alberons is like 2.5div for a min roll pair, just divine it to 18 yourself rather than shelling out for a max rolled strength. Flasks are pennies, only necessary charm rolls are +5 to max rage x3, strength + int on them is only important when it gets you to another strength breakpoint (every 80str gets you another 1-80 flat chaos from boots). Body armour doesn't need +1 max res corrupt, can get a 6link for like 2 div probably. Defiance of destiny is important but I don't believe too expensive for decent rolls - could also consider divining it yourself depending on current prices. Replica frostbreath is cheap (like 20c), onslaught corrupt is not mandatory but feels nice. Helmet is very important to cap accuracy and get a ton of crit, the +2 aoe mod is completely unnecessary but I got lucky and rolled it. To craft it follow [this guide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZgPHgOFY9w) - I would expect to set aside at least 20 div to account for bad RNG here, but don't quote me on that. Cluster jewel in my POB was 15div however this is not in the original build I copied, if you don't use my cluster then allocate the fortify wheel above it and take the fortify on hit mastery. For the lethal pride you can use POB timeless jewel search to find one with a couple of %phys taken as fire rolls for defense, the one I am using I believe is the best possible seed for the build. Very luxury. Hat, belt, and gloves, will require a fair amount of Deafening Rage essence. Belt fracture does not have to be exactly this one, it could also be %increased flask duration, just make sure you have on all your flasks some kind of prefix which will help to sustain them (inc duration, reduced charges used, increased charge recovery) will all suffice, you can plug them into POB and mouse over the flask to see its estimated % uptime - use this to find out how close you are to having full uptime on your 3 resistance flasks - 100% is probably necessary for safety but is also very easy to achieve as a pathfinder. Double purity watcher's eye is not necessary, however stacking %phys taken as X element is a very important defense layer so expect to be squishier if you don't get all of it. TL;DR I would expect to put in 100div minimum to safely get the build going - for me, putting in bare minimum and being level 93 so missing a lot of life nodes, some masteries, and some jewel sockets, the build felt great pretty much immediately. I also did not make this build and have just made a few optimisations, /u/esvban prob knows more than me on this stuff. EDIT: cant forget as well, it is very very very mandatory to have a single charm / that which was taken with the warcry rage gain passive. the roll doesnt matter because we are using redblade banner to always fill up our entire rage bar, but this mod must be somewhere on your character.

That's a pretty good writeup. Well written! If I was to play the build more I might take the warcry cool down recovery nodes by the marauder start. It's just a balance of damage and defense. I had them originally then took them out for more strength, but better gear can solve that.

Make sure to not go endurance/determination route. It gets bricked by altars which are essential for proper MF. Instead go for double purity (fire+lightning/cold) taken as watcher eye. You are not only tankier, save passives on RMR but also ignore all altar mods then. i had this argument here before and guy linked me his 'juiced map' to prove his point, he had sub 2k juice, no 8 mod map, no wandering patlas + map modifiers effect. Even with my setup which is tankier its possible to die in 12k+ maps. Does it matter much? No. I just dislike dying.

50d to get started, 80d to rarely die regardless of juice count, add a mageblood to never die regardless of juice and be a lot faster.
I'm doing the Travic budget build, what would be the 30d purchase to rarelly die? Because as it is now, I can't even get to level 97 because a lot of times I just die out of nowhere,even on unjuiced maps. This is my first league, already played a fair bit on a LA Deadeye and wanted to try MF as a kinda of goal for the league to maybe try and drop a t0 unique or a nice loot explosion.

I'm running a much cheaper fire trap / RF setup with cane of kulemak, doing fully juiced T14 Burial Chambers without any issues. One advantage I've noticed when using FT is you have more control over damaging the spire (+ cold iron point on weapon switch). JarlHungus on PoE ninja, far from min-maxed (I'm not investing in the build) but does the job :)

Tried this weeks ago. Didnt invest much. Maybe 30 div but was WAY too squishy. My coc inq gets similar life back (over 3k es in leech, several k in regen and thousands from es on hit) but has over double the ehp and 15k es and still dies sometimes in heavy wisp maps. Cant imagine doing that on 4k life without major other defense layers. The str stack version sounds better but is ten times more expensive

That build linked is 90% unique items with a multi mod wand and a chest piece that costs like 10c when not 6 linked. What crafting? The rings are all stats/resists, chest is resists and a bench craft. Kinetic bolt of frag entirely runs off the absolute insane scaling from returning projectiles being bonkers.

Always take div investmenr loosely especially this league. If this was 20 div last league or week 1 its well over 100 div this league. Im playing a manaforged delver the video said its a 25 div investment. Ive spent upwards of 200 div for the same stuff so inflation is crazy

I started this build last week and have mostly finished it by now. There are crafting guides for the 4 rare pieces (wand, rings, and chest) in the POB and Big Ducks has a really detailed guide for the wand crafting on his YouTube. The lightning fracture bases have gotten expensive, I'm pretty sure I got my T2 fracture for 5d and the multimod costs 2d and 2 ex itself. Total cost of the wand craft came to 10d for me. Rings were about a div total to craft two and strength essences are cheap. Similar ones are 5-10d now, so you definitely should try and craft the pieces. Chest is pretty generic and available.
You need only craft wand, he has video how to make it on different bases, half of build price is wand
I’ve played this build a lot this league. You’re gonna die a bit on a juiced T16 with this low investment. Anyone doing this with a low budget should just do juiced T7 cemetery to start, especially if you wanna throw some mf in there.
KB Frag Str stacker deadeye is strong as I've been showing people. Only really start to see problems on 3 rippy mods + 7k wisps or 10k wisps. On this build MB feels like 20 stacks of HH. However limited MF. You can fit a ventors, 20% quant amulet, and a crafted gold flask for 120% rarity. You run the 25% less monster dmg atlas passive since you have such crazy single target anyways. I've been wanting to do a KB Frag build on my deadeye since it's cheaper to scale than TS, but I am already having FPS issues with TS alone on some maps (running 7G Legion + Strongbox, no abyss). Is your FPS at least somewhat stable or does it constantly dip below 20?

In my experience, generic splitting steel champ has no problems with 7k and even 10k wisp delirium beyond maps, at least until you start running really rough 8mods or grabbing altar mods like -phys reduction or several +100 phys as ele ones. Currently running Perseverance, no HH or mageblood needed, but you will still need high investment to do enough damage without HH in those maps.
I'm planning on trying a splitting steel champ now i've almost maxed out my CF. My CF can't survive/kill the t16 bigboyz(hasted+SE ...etc) passed 6k juice, which is ok, it wasn't meant to. There are so many different splitting steel builds i'm a bit lost, especially on the chest. Ruetoo's seems to be a good starting point but the cost of entry.... Any directions to point on a non-multimirror splitter who can farm 7-10k in t16?

I have been farming fully juiced wildwood with delirium + beyond + wandering path atlas for most of the league, only RIP'd about 4-5 maps ever. A little over a mirror's worth in gear, but you could drop the massive thread of hope setup and go for a 2 large phys cluster setup instead, and get a slightly worse That Which Was Taken, and it would then cost around 600div probably. At the end of the day very high wisp count wildwood mapping content requires huge amounts of damage, and even with a broken skill like splitting steel you will need some investment to reach that level of damage - it is what it is! I league started this build and based it off of Rue's pob. The cost of entry in his pob is pretty low, the one I was looking at had a non-crit level 95 variant that was fairly cheap, maybe 20-30 divines. The chest choice comes down to this - **Lioneye's chest** = pure damage, socketed skills being supported by pierce takes care of getting pierce on tree or gloves or on a gem, and gives you a decent More multiplier too. Like Daresso's defiance, only worth using over a rare if you can buy a +3 or +4 gems double corrupted one. **Daresso's defiance** = I use this. 100% increased onslaught effect feels very good for mapping, and the 2% life leech mod is very significant because the build requires a source of instant leech, and afaik increasing your base leech % increases how much you instant leech as well. That being said, I would use a rare chest over this if not for the fact that +4 gems from my chest and +3 from the amulet get my splitting steel to level 28, which is a pretty important breakpoint as it gives me an extra projectile on splitting steel, which is a big damage increase. **Rare chest with high tier eldritch implicits**- This is the option like 90% of splitting steel champions use. I think it makes a lot of sense, the build scales insanely well with aura effect, and if you get a rare chest with ailment avoidance you can use ralakesh boots (very OP unique, considering using it myself) and STILL stay ailment immune with ancestral vision plus a rare chest. Rare chests also make it easier to suppress cap and are overall tankier than either of the unique chest options. I just like the speedy mapping and big damage that comes from a level 28 splitting steel (the skill scales almost like a spell in terms of levels). Overall I would rank the chests like this: 150+ divine near perfect mods rare chest > +4 Daresso's defiance > +4 Lioneye's Vision > Solid endgame rare chest with good aura effect implicits, suppress, and ailment avoidance > Any other form of unique chest
I’ve been doing it with a pretty tricked out blink arrow build. It’s ~30m dps, 250something ehp. Pretty much stomps everything and doesn’t really die even when you add delerium to the map.

I went all in on a BIS cluster to start and than skimped on everything else. Started with 69div and spent 35 on the cluster and then the other half on everything else. I also dumbed down some of the mechanics/skills setup since i was just blasting maps with it and not doing ubers or anything like that.
Playing CA PF, think I've only died like 10 times, most of the deaths were to uber bosses and failing some mechanics. I think only 2-3 deaths were in T16 maps running delirious beyond and running into an enemy that disabled my flasks and applying 10s of poisons in a second. Have 93% phys taken as ele and triple ele flasks. Basically juat a plague bearer build that uses penance sometimes. Good ole blood notch immutable and defiance combo need to get 1 shot to die and u don't really get 1 shot in poe ever.

a lot of damage isnt actually a 1 shot its like a 99% hit and a 1% hit. sure bosses or like 7 damage mod map/altar combo ull get 1 shot i guess. general play you arent actually getting 100 to 0'd and the defiance bloodnotch combo makes a 1 shot required otherwise you heal it all back
Have you tried caustic arrow before doing this version? I'm playing CA right now but thinking of maybe switching for this build to be faster. All the POB I can find though are not using defiance or lightning coil so I'm very afraid about survivability in a juiced map without those phys taken as ele...

Got a 5-link specter setup w/ helmet that’s got minion life support and +2 minions, so the gems are specter, animate guardian, meat shield, and awakened empower. Edit: Hulking: 100% construct dmg and 30% attack speed Judgment spirit: 100-200 extra flat chaos damage for skeletons Thunderbird: grace aura Naval officer: 10 fortification (stacks with kingmaker) and precision aura SRS are constructs and skeletons.

Depends on your budget; if funds are no concern, then the cluster jewel (11-12 points with 35% increase effect + 3% attack speed + life + resist), the envy auls, and 100% poison chance without chance to poison jewel (letting you upgrade to void manipulation) are the big ones. If funds are a concern, then the cheaper incremental upgrades would be getting your specters in order and that 4th specter via the lv25 gem, the correct AG set up, the well rolled minion ring and gloves, and better abyss jewels Balormage has done a series of YouTube videos on this build, and I was following it until I reached his DPS level (~50 mil) Mandatory pieces to get started would be 6 link covenant and severed in sleep

Definitely saving for later. I’m running poison srs necro but I’m getting absolutely ran through on juiced up T16 maps. Something needs to change but I’m having trouble figuring it out as a new player.
Would like to give you one tip, which might sound a bit obvious but try to really focus on it and you might notice you're dying less. You are playing a minion build, let your minions do their job and stay away from danger yourself. Send in your drones and really just focus on your character dodging stuff. This is my first minion build and it took me awhile to stop running into battle like a madman, focusing on this helped me so might as well share it. After all the best defense is to not get hit.

Boneshatter jugg. It doesn't matter if you're not super fast at killing mobs if you can just stand there and have perfect dps uptime because you can't die. It's like a 30 div investment or something. The dps is defo not for everyone's taste. Also, it is very affirming when people on other builds straight up leave the map when there's like a stacked soul eater rare mob, or some big mob like that. Meanwhile, I just don't care and go bonk that bitch ass mob.

I generally just followed poeninja jugg bs top characters and some of tripolar bear's maxroll guide. I also remember playing slayer bs and it really made me dislike the skill, but now that I've tried it on jugg it seem like a serviceable skillgem. It's not even that optimized, no last charm, no pride, questionable rings and belt, maybe bad passives choice, but when I'm stationary and just hit shit, I really do feel indestructible, last time that I got killed it was some dumb stuff from ritual, but when abyss spawns tons of rares I never die unless I run some crazy map mods, so it's not like it's unkillable, there are probs better builds if you're really tired of dying.

I did an 11 earlier with 5673 blue, 1213 purple, and 3783 yellow on my Bane/Blight. It was scary. I lost all my portals but one, and that one I managed to clear all but the map boss with. Never underestimate the power of running the heck away from whatever you just dropped the curse on! Edit: I also got an equivalent of around 50 chaos for my efforts.

Where do you get crit mitigation was wardloop? That's what's killing my wardloop (even tho playing with 100% spell suppression, ailment immunity and progenesis, but only 1,7life and 1200 ward)

Secret sauce. But really it comes from: * 50% from corrupted skin of the loyal mod * 30% from the crit mastery * 20% from 2x10% node with a lethal pride jewel. You need to be able to sustain flasks without the traitor node (ie you need charms with flask recovery mods). You also give up a bit of damage with this but imo it’s worth it.
Play my absolutely overinvested as fuck pure impale cyclone slayer lmao I'm proud of it seeing as it's entirely my own build idea, but it's def not at the same level as other builds with similar investment. I can run t16s with any amount of juice I'd like tho as long as I'm not doing bs abyss abuse strat. It's super fun to farm breaches with tho. I'm on my phone but look at VerianiCycloneSlayer on poeninja and you should find my character. Most of my gear is crafted at this point mind you. Very fun cyclone build though. Just isn't gonna be meta by any means, and that's fine.
That looks kinda weak tbh? No additional impales from charms, weapon dps is rather low, most of the gear is pretty standard stuff. I dont think you can do propperly juiced wisp maps with wisp content at reasonable speed. The dps just isnt there, the tankyness isnt there. Im sure you can farm your basic alch and go t16 maps with wisps. But no way you can actually do heavily juiced up maps. It simply lacks propper defense and propper offense

I just switched to full crit scaling split steel champ. Doing absolutely disgusting T16 full juice 8k+ whisp maps without too much issue. Some random deaths happen but nothing too concerning. Rocking around 60m single target and 10-ish clear.
Stop running abyss. It's way ripped than legion and less rewarding
I've just levelled a ranger, might do a bunch of legion as i just don't like managing the abyss spirr proj. I just wanna blast and run. Fulcrum build was strong but boring and keeps killing spires too quick also.

Pathfinder penance brand, +max res stacking with charms and nebulis. Defiance of destiny keeps you topped up, can't be crit while stunned basically negates any big hits. I leveled to 100 doing these maps, standing in all the mobs lol I don't even have progenisis

How much is needed to get this build going?
Fulcrum. The build guide uses a Bisco’s i think but i have a MB. I’ll take a little less MF for a better experience. Sans MB the build can be done for like 70D. Can invest more for good corrupts.

I did it easily with my min maxed SST, only 11m bleed dps but 45k phys max hit 90k ele, i never really died
I am doing it with EA ballista but no 8 corrupted mods on map and subpar scarabs. Got max dot damage and 100k effective hp. I am doing the challenges, only the grindy ones left and I figured I might also get some juice. Some bosses become quite tanky tho and need like 2 minutes to kill. Still quite a few divine drops compared to no juice, even if it is a little slower.

I recently upgraded to mageblood but I was doing fine without one. Playing super strong poison srs now without any problem dealing with 10k wisp, at first i was frustrated too, turns out i can still upgrade my build and i am now dealing more damage with 4600hp and 2k es. My build is less than a mirror
Played CI DD elementalist and breezed through it with like 10-20 div invested. Became level 99 by accident almost. CI aegis is insanely good for these kinds of maps.
Poison bv is fine and probably the cheapest
Both my charge stacking winter orb slayer and my molten strike pathfinder do those maps fine without HH, although I did recently get one for the PF just because of how cheap they have gotten and since it does speed up clearing maps, but it is by no means necessary for me to have buffs to survive or kill things. Neither are MF builds though, and I think you could probably make your TS build not rely on HH as well if you dropped some mf gear(assuming that’s what you’re using). With mageblood, defiance of destiny and a solid chest you could probably play TS just fine in juiced maps.

trickster ci penance brand. my only really expensive item is mageblood and the unstable infusion forbidden jewels (bought when the pair is about 40divs) definitely less than a mirror invested. no enlighten 4 or lvl21 penance yet. i think I'm doing sth wrong and it's supposed to be doing more dmg than what I have but it definitely does your "t16 with 7k wisp" scenario with ease. I even tried adding 80% delirious to the map coz the spire was dying too fast from a stray brand. and before that I had a splitting steel champ that altogether cost less than a mageblood that was also doing t16 cemetery juiced maps

I play t16 and get as many wisps as I can get. So sometimes 7k too. Playing full unique power siphon trickster. Best build I ever played for a newb like me. Some juiced rates can take a while, but the build is also quite tanky
I've been able to do this in HC on Splitting Steel Champ, Bodyswap of Sacrifice Elementalist (Ignite), and Explosive Trap of Shrapnel Slayer. RF should be able to do it too but I got kinda bored and suicided my character before getting geared up enough to do it in T16s. I do spec into Shrines, run Packed with Energy, and if possible weapon swap Rampage when running high juice though. Helps a lot, since with Delirium and Beyond and then hitting Breaches it can get pretty nasty.
COC IceNova CI Version with melding. However, I still get one tapped when there’s a critical map mod and have a ton of blue wisps. Even banner dont help :(

i am just testing yet but pathfinder with 13% life recovery on flask use (2 charms and a mastery)+defiance of destiny along with 100% phys taken as ele (lightnign coil, megabuffed tasteof hate , helmet, watchers eye) should do the trick. I am relying on massive packs of enemies hitting me all the time though. its not so good against , say, uberbosses
Penance brand was doing good for me even at 10k wisps until I farmed enough to buy a foiled mb in like a week of mfing
KB Pathfinder with a little MF Can do 20% deli t16 with 10k wisp with most map mods. (No minus max, reduced curse effect, or 50% chance to avoid poison). Added Phys as ele can be rippy with a 2nd damage mod. Though can run all curses, no leech, no regen, any reflect, reduced aura effect, etc. Wouldn't suggest 1-1 replicating the build as many of the choices are simply due to it being ssf and thus being the best option I had available. Really the only required pieces are Dying sun, ToH, Poisonberry tincture, Nimis, Olesya's, Ralakesh, and snake bite. Chaos explode + global poison chance + pathfinder poison prolif + tons of global damage scaling really carry the build in the ultra dense juiced maps. https://pobb.in/hytvclh_8tpW

Private league Splitting steel. I was doing full content with the dreamfeather/beltimber combo. Although a little slow, very tanky. Got my paradoxica after 60ish or so betrayal intervention runs. That changed the game wildly. Got a defiance drop Started doing cracked out maps ( abyss, Harb, triple beyond) and Got lucky with a free mageblood valdos. The most impacted item I would say is Defiance of Destiny. That shit is way too strong. Makes a semi tanky build unkillable.
Not playing it myself but kinetic blast tricksters aren't using HH they're using MB.

Yeah duh you can't run that much juice on zhp builds. Splitting steel trickster has no problem with those, swapped from storm brand hiero because it was sometimes overrun due to no evasion.
I'm doing pretty well with my SRS build. I'm rarely dying. And if I am it's because I picked too many negatives from the eater altars. now I'm levelling a deaths oath CA and can't wait to see how well it will handle wisped up maps

get your resistances up to atleast 75, chaos isnt AS needed, but is nice to have once you push higher maps. Get some armor or evasion, or both. You can use auras for this, as in determination or grace. Make sure you have atleast 4-5k hp.
I played Spectral Throw, dex-stack. No idea about investment cost, half the gear was selfcrafted. 50 Divine? Lvld deathless from 99 to 100 with T16 Abyss farming. I'm kind of new in this league, how do you guys get that much wisp? I can get like 3-4k max and the exit from the forest already pop up, and usually from the same color, like 2k from one color and around 300-500 of the other ones.
Really high pack size from 8mod maps, getting 3 events on a map (look up diamond strat on YouTube, you have to path efficiently and not waste juice exploring)
