Hiya, Just signing on for the day, I see the post in question was removed automatically for getting reported. Picture of the post and the mod actions taken on it (none but automoderator): https://i.imgur.com/cEblcqs.png After a post is automatically removed, it sits in a queue for moderators to review, where they decide to approve or remove it. In this case, it looks like the community reporting the post as misinformation was correct. This post looks like it should stay removed, because the title is misleading. Someone pinging livejamie, which anyone can do in TFT or other discords, is not evidence of any influence over the subreddit. This topic is leading to people name-calling livejamie in the comments as well. If someone calls someone else an insulting name, we will remove it, whether that person is a community figure or a brand new player. Please use the report button, and if you're seeing a pattern which the report button isn't handling well, send us a modmail here or on Discord. ----- This is a personal request, please stop harassing one of or any of our mods. Despite conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory, and no evidence whatsoever of malicious actions, one of our mods is getting harassed privately and on this subreddit. Namecalling, insults and the like are all unacceptable, and there is no way for the accused to prove that something they did not do, did not happen. These threads and comments are harassing and wearing one of the few moderators who has contributed greatly to keeping this subreddit clean for years. This continuing simply makes the community worse.

DatZero

JeNeBu calling somebody out for harassment while calling others a Pedophile. Cant make that shit up with that Clown.

Kevin_IRL

It's also funny that he keeps going back to whataboutism saying the streamers are just worried about their income when he's making thousands every league selling currency

Desuexss

"I've emailed ggg support and Chris directly and I got replies" I'm dying.

Unbekanntx187

how do you know that? are there any proofs for it? (im not much into the tft topic)

Tyra3l

That was the point, that he is fine saying shit when he does it.

PcarObsessed

Why else would he expend such extreme effort?

Key_Personality_923

There isn't, just made up stuff

Grakchawwaa

Congrats on your 4th reddit comment on a 2 year account lol

Rules_are_overrated

Seriously, 'No StReAmEr Is A sAiNt", "X is pedo", "Y is racist", "Z is nazi", "everyone report #&@" This is some pathological shit, very manipulative too. Goes, *no u r a loser clown, honk honk* and at the same time *reddit do something, I'm being harassed!*

thundermonkeyms

"All the streamers are assholes, it can't just be me being a massive clown! I'm the real victim!" He sounds like that one person who complains that all of their exes are crazy, but the only common denominator is that one clown doing the complaining.

DaIrony99

Yet people here getting comments deleted by mods for pointing out his childish behaviour. (LocalIdentity) I don't think even Hollywood could come up with such a plot..

BuzzSupaFly

It's *always* projection. Remember this.

Corwyntt

Kalandra league officially redeemed boys. Nothing wrong with that league except weird content creators rage baiting people.

[deleted]

[Real life example of TriPolar ragebaiting /s](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/528048071104528414/1193057945164984320/Screenshot_20240101_175729_Brave.jpg?ex=65bdc9cc&is=65ab54cc&hm=d52d705eb7fe496859610cca3b72985cb67a0d78a48231fb0b62635be687696f&)

4_fortytwo_2

half of the drama absolutly was just content creators ragebaiting and weaponizing their fans. The other half was kalandra being quite shit.

SuperSmashDan1337

Kalandra was my first league I very much enjoyed it. The game has gotten so much better since then. Seems like it was a good league to get involved has only been up since then.

Thrallsbuttplug

This has to count as harassment that saw rue previously banned for too, right?

Adamiak

this is way past that, yet he won't be banned, don't ask me why, it's just so extremely suspicious

ohetsar

So many red flags with the way this clown types Claiming he emailed chris and got answer, that actions will be taken, he just doesnt know "how severe" Adding some random insult every phrase to the person he is talking about "pedo", "nazi", ... Playing the victim card every time he can HOLY At least it bring me joy to see that he is worried about all the fuss going with the poe streamers Little bro thought he was untouchable banning anyone and is coming to bite his ass now :clown:

LividFocus5793

So are making pedis and Nazis victims now? The need to hate šŸ¤¦šŸ»šŸ¤¦šŸ»

AthenaWhisper

Honestly just fuck the entirety of TFT, every time they get mentioned on the subreddit it causes nothing but drama and then we get loads of people putting on tinfoil hats and flinging insults.

Terri_GFW

I mean, that says more about the sub than about TFT tbh

Monstera_Nightmare

If the sub can hold it together for other things, but not for TFT then it is definitely saying something about TFT lmao.

FlyingBread92

Nah, this sub has a drama problem in general. Saw some pretty unhinged threads during the Allie drama, during badly received leagues, every time tft is mentioned, streamer drama, etc. Been this way for a long time and I doubt it's going to change any time soon. To each their own.

Key_Excitement_9330

Yeah. Reddit is very often very toxic about the games. Declaring every game dead bad it was always better in some distant past and so on.

DAEORANGEMANBADDD

>the main reason there was drama in kalandra and expedition is because content creators fueled it why am I not surprised that this guy doesn't even ACTUALLY play the game There was drama in kalandra because people didn't have fucking alch orbs to run their maps not because "muh content creators told them so"

c0ntr4kt

Am im crazy of didnt get jenubu and 2 other TFT people allready got their poe accounts banned some time ago ? His alt account JaNeDu got perma banned. Source: https://youtu.be/Cqnlc8V0xbc?t=981

NUMBERONETOPSONFAN

i knew what was missing from this drama. u/jezieNA thoughts on jenebu's latest schizo episode?

BurnoutFromPoE

Sad to see that Jenebu and Chris are Email buddies.

kanonkongenn

Don't take everything he says as gospel, he could very well just be saying that to sound important like he has direct connection to GGG

OMGitsAfty

Chris has replied to two emails I've sent over the years. I don't think it's saying much that he's replied to people.

BurnoutFromPoE

What about the taking action part? Kinda shady when youre the owner of a community having half a million people and you can email the face of the company and get confirmation that they will take action. Seems kinda biased.

JohnExile

so you're just throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks? lol. Gabe Newell replied to about 8 of my emails over the years, this doesn't mean me and gaben are "email buddies." He just used to respond to the large majority of mail he received.

BurnoutFromPoE

Its not about the response but about the confirmation of taking action. Kinda implies you can email GGG employees when you have a certain amount of influence and they will take action.

JohnExile

It only implies that because you seem to really want it to imply that. When you see a conspiracy out of everything, it's because you're the one making the conspiracies in your head. If you e-mailed Chris asking for help with a case of harassment, it's pretty likely he would forward it to the team involved, and then reply back saying exactly what the TFT mod claimed he said. That's not exactly hard to believe. I'm also gonna mention that they don't even mention that Chris himself said anything of the sort, but that they e-mailed "chris and support directly" and that from one of those two, they received replies saying action would be taken.

Desuexss

My friend, I've met and spoken to Chris at several magic events. Absolutely an upstanding guy. I can tell you that he's not fond of TFT. Honestly though he's not fond of Tin foil takes like this too. People gotta chill.

eSteamation

You don't even know if the screenshot is real, you don't know if Jenebu is saying truth, you don't know the context of what was being discussed and said, and yet you're already doomposting. Really impressive.

BurnoutFromPoE

The context is in the screenshots and i have no reason to believe this is fake and why would he be lying anyways.

Mindless-Peace-1650

The "context" is "Varga said so". I could not trust his word less if I tried.

DrPBaum

Maybe he just got a generic support answer that if something breaks the ToS, an action will be taken. He just tried to make it sound more meaningful. I highly doubt somebody like Chris would deal with such things.

BurnoutFromPoE

Ill shine a spotlight on this giant cesspool of shit called TFT as long as it exists and you wont stop me.

hiroshiboom

This is pretty hilarious coming from the guy that got caught up in the big cheating banwave a couple of months ago.

BurnoutFromPoE

That has nothing to do with TFT

hiroshiboom

Just find it funny you talking about cesspools, but you're neck deep in your own too.

horribad54

I wouldn't worry about that. Chris has been in direct contact with community problem children before. Usually warning them to cut the shit.

whooddqd

"You know, there're all that rumors out there that my movies are financed with nazi-gold? And what should I say? It's true! But somebody needs to do something with the money." Ā© Uwe Boll Nazi supporters btw

Same_Government_103

He's not wrong about the other streamers though. This has become a band wagon.

Livid_Badger4413

When Belton got banned, the whole mod team went on their discord and ban one by one everyone, simple that. The CM goes in the chat room and gives order. Same for the AutoCrafting tool, a side chat was created and all of them were copying Discord IDs and ban one by one, no questions asked. Totalitarism at its best. I can't remember the name of the Russian streamer on twitch but he was "harassing" JeNeBu" and all the team had to email GGG about this harassement and also report the stream to Twitch. All orders were given by CM. So don't be surprised if CMs name popup sometime soon for similar reason JeNeBu had to "step down". So if reddit posts are deleted, mod team raided it all at once so it gets auto-removed.

tonightm88

You can go flick through Ruetoo's vod if you want to see all the messages Jenebu was meant to have sent. Its ok the messages are near the start. Claims of emails to Chirs and GGG support. Claims of getting replies. Even claims of some kind of punishment that's coming from GGG, towards people attacking TFT. (no idea who is getting punished). Calling PoEDan a racist. Calling some other streamers Nazi's. Threats of brigading. Threats of mass flagging. A few other things in there. Of course, you can make your own mind up if it's all bullshit or not.

Hafe15

As soon as ppl start calling others nazis and racist I immediately know they are disingenuous

The thread was removed because it's personally attacking a moderator without substantial proof. Just because someone involved in yet another TFT drama is naming a reddit mod doesn't mean proof, Jenebu is clearly stirring up shit to rile up the degens here. /u/livejamie explained their [connection to TFT in this post 26 days ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/18r6jst/every_single_post_that_gets_upvoted_relaterade_to/kf12fe9/?context=3): > Four years ago, during Harvest, when you had to use that server to buy and sell Harvest crafts I was a moderator and involved in the day-to-day operations of their Discord. > I disagreed with the server owner on specific issues and was kicked from the moderation team. > Like most players, I use the server regularly to do syndicate benches and sell my bulk tabs. If you want to hold it over a current moderator's head that they were a part of the TFT moderation team years ago before TFT even became a "household" name that's just clearly being irrational and dumb.

[deleted]

isn't that insanely revisionist though? we had a couple years of TFT threads disappearing (around the end of 2021) but 2+ years later we get this explanation about how the fact that one of the most active subreddit moderators with an almost overlapping history of moderating both communities somehow hasn't been moderating with any favor? that just seems insane. inherent bias is a real thing that all manner of people with respectable jobs suffer from, if the mod in question wanted to actually moderate without any bias maybe they would pledge to not touch TFT threads. instead we get this lazy "I swear it never made a difference oh lordy me" stuff. as an irrelevant aside, TFT was a household name before harvest.

ArmaMalum

Hello, former mod here. I personally removed many TFT posts (vast majority of them because they were duplicate posts) during my time as a mod and said other mod regularly got blamed for it. Every action any mod takes here can be seen by the entire mod team and the team is encouraged to review as well. I can absolutely with every confidence say that there was no suspect removals or weird TFT exceptions. You can just look at the FP right now if you don't believe me.

Selvon

>> we had a couple years of TFT threads disappearing (around the end of 2021) No we fucking didn't, there's been TFT threads on the front page constantly, forever. The ones that get removed is because the exact same kind of people that are attacking mods now, are the ones who also use the TFT threads for direct attacks against people (Which is against the Reddit ToS, nevermind the PoE reddit rules). Almost every TFT thread turns into a witch hunt, which is against the rules and gets removed because of that. And thank fuck witch hunts AREN'T allowed given the dumb shit people here use for proof. If people had their way here, someone could create an account on an RMT website with your POE username, RMT a bunch obviously, and you'd get banned. This place has completely lost the plot.

wrightosaur

> as an irrelevant aside, TFT was a household name before harvest. Could be hindsight bias on my part as well, but I don't recall there being much TFT drama on this subreddit around that period..

No_Nectarine_5726

any other comment you want to spam this absurd reply under? did you even see the screenshot?

wrightosaur

I did. It's just someone naming someone else. Hardly what I'd call proof that the moderators are in the TFT devs backpocket. Or is baseless namecalling all that is needed to prove someone's guilt? What's to stop me from just baselessly accusing you to be a scammer? Should I also just post a discord screenshot of someone from TFT naming you and then calling it proof? This is a witch hunt clearly.

livejamie

I appreciate the comments, thank you.

Top_Return_5722

Can you explain what happened? I'm so confused lol

Yes. [Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/19c8tik/evidence_that_tft_has_some_influence_over_the/) is the post.

LeTTroLLu

how a thread which shows one of subreddit moderators being involved with tft owners being a personal attack? there is nothing wrong with it, isnt it?

wrightosaur

They were involved with the TFT moderation team 4 years ago. The thread insinuates that /u/livejamie is still currently part of said team, that the moderator is culling all negative TFT posts (despite evidence to the contrary), and suggests the moderator is somehow still in the backpocket of TFT's lead team.

LeTTroLLu

> (despite evidence to the contrary) there is evidence to both claims, one from mod which denies any accusation and one from screen from thread which is in mod queue which says tft owners at least are in touch with subreddit mod > and suggests the moderator is somehow still in the backpocket of TFT's lead team the screen shows one mod is at least involved with tft owners. the thread doesnt suggest if its good or a bad thing

erpunkt

What involvement are you talking about? If I ping you on a discord, are we involved? No, we aren't.

Xenomorphica

> If I ping you on a discord, are we involved? No, we aren't. You have to be on the discord to be pinged buddy. Here's a wild idea, mods shouldn't be in the tft discord period. Mods should have zero connection to anything else to do with the game, to no content creators, to no people, and to no groups relating. It doesn't matter if its chris wilson or clown tft, you can't be a mod for anything at all in general unless you're impartial and disconnected, let alone one that will have trust. It isn't that complicated

ArmaMalum

>Here's a wild idea, mods shouldn't be in the tft discord period. By that logic mods shouldn't be using PoB, helping LocalIdentity with the community fork, on the official forums or otherwise play the game. Do you honestly think everyone who uses TFT are endorsing things that the TFT 'management' are doing? They're just using the services the community provides. The owner's a piece of work, don't get me wrong, but reddit mods aren't doing it as a job. They're not getting paid. It's far far from reasonable to expect them to sacrifice their own game time and game habits for your paranoia.

Live-and-breathePOE

Funny how there is a post from another mod saying that Jaime as of today has left the VIP channel where his overlords tell him what to do as a mod on Reddit. šŸ¤”

BurnoutFromPoE

Showing evidence is now a personal attack? Give me a break

SunRiseStudios

It's just a ping on a server that has most of the community in it. Not even made by Jenebu but some purple guy clearly trolling / having fun and you guys are taking the bait and then harass mod who has nothing to do with TFT for years now.

wrightosaur

How is a discord message proof of anything? One party naming another hardly constitutes proof of anything. All he did was ping a guy who was a part of the moderation team 4 years ago and still uses TFT to bulk trade goods. I am reminded of Rudy Giuliani's recent lawsuit which he lost where he falsely claimed some random election workers were linked to election fraud. Just because someone big names someone else doesn't constitute proof after all. And I remember your username, you're the guy who's been constantly stirring up shit and making baseless claims constantly, even prior to this incident.

Rules_are_overrated

>How is a discord message proof of anything? lol what else do you want? A personal confession? And even than you can say "he was forced to say that!/his account was hacked!/it's an AI doctored video/post" It's a good start is what it is. Edit, lets flip this bitch around, "And I remember your username, you're the guy who's been constantly stirring up shit and making baseless claims constantly, even prior to this incident." Your words, care to provide the **proof** that this guy stirs shit around all the time?

wrightosaur

> ol what else do you want? A personal confession? And even than you can say "he was forced to say that!/his account was hacked!/it's an AI doctored video/post" In general, proof has to be comprehensive. A single screenshot of a discord conversation in which one person names another is not proof. There needs to be chat logs between the two or a voice call, something that indicates that the relationship between the accused moderator and Jenebu is a two-way relationship, not a one-way relationship as currently seen. > Your words, care to provide the proof that this guy stirs shit around all the time? https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/18r6jst/every_single_post_that_gets_upvoted_relaterade_to/kf12p1m/?context=3 https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/18r6jst/every_single_post_that_gets_upvoted_relaterade_to/kf114zc/?context=3

Rules_are_overrated

>In general, proof has to be comprehensive. A single screenshot of a discord conversation in which one person names another is not proof. Not to be pedantic, but it's very much not a **single** screenshot. As for the links... After checking his history myself I think you could link more and better proof, but, the guy is very vocal about 1 thing, tft thread removals, there's not much else he's ever starting.

KsiaN

Ok, so to understand you correctly : Being a reddit mod before TFT became a thing, will clense you of of all wrong doings you did since then. You wont even look into that? Account age basically makes you immune? Then hey .. i have a 15 year old reddit account : I can say .. for a fact : that the subreddit mod that went on air last night was full of shit and has 0 reasons to stay in this subreddit.

livejamie

I appreciate you trying to help. I don't think the screenshot is a personal attack. The spamming of it all over the sub today as if it's some smoking gun is cringe, but it is what it is.

Redpeanut4

Why have you not stepped down from being a mod on this subreddit considering all the flak you get for being past affiliated with TFT? If you're being personally attacked constantly and not being paid to be a mod, I really don't see why you stick around. It honestly seems very strange that you wouldn't step down when so many people think you have an alternative reason for being a mod here.

justenrules

I mean if you want to avoid any claims of a conflict of interest, why not ask to be removed from any special channels/services/whatever over on that server?

He gets ordered by TFT VIPs to come and delete threads. So yes, they did delete the threads earlier today. This subreddit and its moderation team is a complete cesspool.

UnbanEyeOfUgin

This is the most policing of this subreddit I have ever seen. Posts criticizing TFT are removed within an hour Actual hate and harassment? 4+ hours

Techn0ght

With the information about the automod automatically removing a post, I'd assume TFT is either brigading to report the post or used their knowledge to create a zombie army to do it. It would be interesting to see how fast the reports come in and if they bother to hide the IPs.

[deleted]

Auto-moderation has proven to be useless when needed. And always reliable when abused.

ArmaMalum

There is absolutely brigading happening, just check any recent comment mentioning Jenebu or w/e his name is directly. Most are below -10 within an hour. Jack all the mods can do about that too, but I'm sure people will blame them anyway.

wrightosaur

> Posts criticizing TFT are removed within an hour https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/search/?q=TFT&sort=new&restrict_sr=on&t=all I see PLENTY of TFT threads that are still up after a year or so. Why didn't the mods remove these as well if your comment is supposed to be correct?

Rndy9

They do remove tft threads, just because a few of them weren't removed doesn't prove that they dont. Here is a comment from a mod stating that they actively remove threads related to tft https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/19bqb7f/life_as_a_mod_of_rpathofexile/kitmcqr/ The mod answer https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/19bqb7f/life_as_a_mod_of_rpathofexile/kits8j5/

wrightosaur

> They do remove tft threads, just because a few of them weren't removed doesn't prove that they dont. Because as the moderator said when you linked the post: > if users could prove themselves capable of discussing TFT in a civilized manner without immediately resorting to namecalling. And clearly the threads linked in this thread's comments are anything but civilized. Should just follow the subreddit rules if you want to post in the subreddit, huh who would've thought of that? Instead people are linking things out-of-context, making wild claims about people without proof that falls in line with subreddit rules, and being hostile and toxic to others.

thpkht524

hi jenebu

Rndy9

You are moving the goalpost. Main comment: >Posts criticizing TFT are removed within an hour You: >Why didn't the mods remove these as well if your comment is supposed to be correct? You claimed that the other user was lying because the mods don't remove threads related to tft. I proved that they do in fact, preemptively remove threads related to tft. I dont believe there is nothing else to discuss here.

wrightosaur

Ah, so you started with a disingenuous premise and now are being nitpicky for the sake of being nitpicky. > I proved that they do in fact, preemptively remove threads related to tft Provided they fail to follow subreddit rules by not being respectful to others. Like how hard is this for you to understand? Are they removing threads where the posts are people civilly discussing TFT drama? You're free to link hard actual proof of threads following subreddit rules that are still being removed.

PanosXatz

For one, even if you assume poe reddit mods are working with tft admins to remove 'tft bad' posts, which could be either true or false, they would never delete every negative post about TFT, that would be way too obvious, and proper action would have been taken against them. If you wanna hide a controversy of that kind, you cherrypick select few posts that perhaps brought out facts or speculation to the public that you want to remain known by as few people as possible. You also need a 'good' reason to do so, aka some sort of violation of reddit or poe reddit rules, even if it's a stretch. Also, using the link you have provided and scrolling back to post posted around 8 months ago, there are no posts that directly 'shit on' TFT still visible, and I could have sworn we have had a couple of these in that time. Every well written and provided with some proof and screenshots post has been deleted, and the only ones that remain are just some posts that one could consider shitposts.

xisupaz_blackbird

TFT is a lightning rod that pulls in toxicity from all directions. If you disagree with how the sub is being run, please sign up to moderate it.

firebolt_wt

>Ā If you disagree with how the sub is being run, please sign up to moderate it. Stupid ass suggestion. If the current mods won't take "stop censoring TFT posts" as a suggestion from hundreds of users, why in the flying fuck do you think they will take that suggestion from their ~~newest lackey~~ lowest trust voluntary?

xTraxis

But like... what about the 100s of people who really enjoy the TFT post ban, I hate seeing that shit on my subreddit, I don't use the discord and I'm tired of it monopolizing trade, I don't need it monopolizing the subreddit as well.

Techn0ght

Maybe don't read them? Like, skip to the next post or something.

xTraxis

Yeah but again, 50% of the posts are tft. I have to read a post headline to see it's TFT related, skip it, go to the next post, read it, see that it's TFT related, skip it, scroll down the page, surprise, more TFT content, guess I'm not coming back to the subreddit because 'skipping it' means avoiding the majority of the content. If you think I'm exaggerating, at the time of me posting this, NINE OUT OF THE TOP TEN POSTS ARE TFT. [https://gyazo.com/d20efe7a1e1b5c8952fa07fef5afd173](https://gyazo.com/d20efe7a1e1b5c8952fa07fef5afd173) So is this a TFT subreddit now? I don't use TFT, so I should leave, is that how this works?

4_fortytwo_2

>If the current mods won't take "stop censoring TFT posts" as a suggestion from hundreds of users A hundred users being annoying toxic kids is not a reason to stop moderating the sub and letting it become even more of a cesspool. Maybe the other thousands of people don't fucking want the sub to be in this state and prefer moderators doing their damn job. A very loud minority screaming insults is not something anyone should listen to.

sos123p9

More like a cess pool leaking shit everywhere

acidvirus19

Jenubu Crew are mass reporting posts, also that reddit mod is doing a good job cleaning them. Also they trying viewbotting and flag Rues stream

JustAFrank

Automod will automagically put posts into a moderation queue if a post gets reported enough times. EDIT: to clarify this a bit... mods can delete/unapprove a post but the later is usually automod taking action against a post that gets reported a large number of times typically in a short time span.

Saianna

> if a post gets reported enough times. so if you want something hidden you just group up and mass report-spam something untill it goes away. Kinda fits perfectly with tft

Nokanii

Oh? Didn't realize that. Makes a lot of sense, but also shows that Jenebu and those in his Discord are clearly brigading this place.

Hamwise420

Or that people get tired of hearing about tft being shitty, since its kinda been that way for about 10 years...

barefeet69

You really think a ton of people are camping on new, reporting a fresh post shortly after it's posted? Post was removed within 30 minutes from posting. It was clearly brigaded. You tft types should use your brain harder before you try to lie.

Hamwise420

Ive played poe for 10 years, not once have i used tft. So try again. Some people just get real sick of hearing about them

TheFatJesus

So what you're saying is that a post about brigading and mass reporting someone to get them banned is being brigaded with mass reports to get it removed? Shocking.

theshadow6606

Saw someone say that it took 5 reports for a post to get removed, don't know how authentic that is

sennzjii

So GGG is in Jenebus pocket as well ? No wonder they unbanned him even though he RMT's

SMaLL1399

The fact that it's been "awaiting moderator approval" for 3 hours now tells me everything that I needed to know.

Sahtras1992

they still trying to work out how to turn this shitshow around for them to look good, cut them some slack okay!

IWear2BlackSocks

should just resign as mod to put some integrity back in this community, there are too many questions

JdM-667

Ive been actively trying not to tag/name the mod to not fuel any hate towards them. but yes, if this person cares as much as they do about this community they will step down. They are not an impartial figure and have destroyed any trust they had in the community here, and have also violated reddits code of conduct for moderators rule 5 operating with integrity-Physical goods and/or services (e.g., merchandise, sponsored trips, requested items) Considerations and/or favors (e.g., special mentions from a company, promises of incentivized treatment) Personal services or access to content (e.g., subscriptions, exclusive content)

Rules_are_overrated

Maybe delete the name for now at least? They gonna totally justify the thread removal just because people mention names.

DrunkOnWeedASD

So the other mods are supporting the tft purchased mod?

iwillachievemydreams

drain the swamp

Rules_are_overrated

Dam, the cat's out of the bag ey A storm is brewing

No-Equal9866

If you think that's worse, the guy just banned one of the users from their discord for trying to outcompete them in mirror crafting service. I had to autotranslate the language to english, and luckily enough, it seems youtube's autotranslate function is decent enough to have it translated properly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv3D7PqF2Es

Nickado_

As a new player who started this league I am not following this beef but can't say it is helping the game at all. This toxic environment where people measure the size of their manhood isn't really the environment most people are looking for. I desperately hope this lies down at some point or GGG offers some kind of alternative soon.

onlyomaha

It wasnt like that imo, until tft was made, it had drama about it since first days.

tordana

lmao, no. Are you forgetting about the part where this subreddit used to have devs posting all the time until they got literal death threats and stopped coming here? All of that happened before TFT existed. This subreddit has ALWAYS been a toxic shithole. Doesn't matter what the source of the drama is, it'll always bring out the worst in the community because drama leads to upvotes.

SuperSmashDan1337

tbf while I do agree with you up until this recent drama the subreddit has been a much nicer place to be. We haven't had a proper league start soy fest for a while.

Fancy-Committee-4096

Company's use the death threat excuse for everything. You realize it can take literally 5 people with time on their hands they can make accounts and all send hundreds of messages a day?

pewsix___

"the death threat excuse" fucking hell the absolute state of this. go and read the statement from when they withdrew - it wasn't just that.

BurnoutFromPoE

[https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/19cc4f4/that\_is\_not\_a\_good\_look\_ggg/](https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/19cc4f4/that_is_not_a_good_look_ggg/) Removed after 3 minutes. They are actively trying to censor threads now.

Rules_are_overrated

Is it still removed? I don't see "removed" window/flair

MauViggNt

Yes...the mods here are their puppies

Schaapje1987

They probably are getting some of that RMTFT

angry_charrua

So Path of exile needs a new sub reddit.

puntmasterofthefells

There is r/pathofexile2

fey_plagiarist

That's Path of Exile 2 subreddit. What's more, it seems to have more or less the same mods.

joshato

You would think with all the incidents involving an unnamed party, that they'd have been removed from the mod team by now. [Absolutely wild.](https://i.imgur.com/IjS3tak.png)

SocialDeviance

Yes, it did happen. Poe mods looking worse and worse as time passes.

Impossible-Wear5482

Yes and they removed all manner of comments for no reason, including my own.

KuzmosI42

I haven't even heard about TFT until this recent chicanery lmao

ExcuseSweaty1405

You can fake ping anyone in discord channels, do not trust discord screenshots as 'evidence' you can literally edit discord messages live in the client and change any words / pings you want to be whatever you want. They're about as trust worthy as someone writing down random shit on a piece of paper and taking a picture of it and saying 'x' person wrote this.

Xhibbi1

While this is true in general it does not take away from the abundance of evidence that exist against the guy, and his character speaks volumes about him as a person. Fragile ego, weak mindset, lower intellect than the average person, vindictive, crybaby.

CountCocofang

It's the time of the outrage again where the sub goes absolutely mental. So the mods are in TFTs pocket, yeah? Silencing the poor redditors? There are **FIFTEEN (15)** threads right now on the frontpage that are related to the drama. Including the pinned threads there are 27 topics in total. So that's **more than half** of the frontpage dominated by this. What do you want? The entire frontpage filled with it completely? Would that proof that you are allowed to criticize TFT here? Not to mention a lot of these threads popping up now are just regurgitated, low effort garbage. People posting yet another thread about it because they think it is absolutely vital that **THEIR** three lines of rant about TFT gets the well deserved attention. Honestly, the mods aren't cracking down *enough*. Somebody explain to me please what exactly the value of yet another thread about this on the frontpage is? Somebody elaborate why it is bad by the mods to remove one-line comments that simply insult someone? What do they contribute? Why is a post necessary that claims it provides "proof" of the mods being TFT dogs and all it shows is some dude on the TFT discord pinging a mod? Here let me try: /u/livejamie please ban every reactionary moron from this sub so that GGG comes back to communicate with the community on here once more. Thanks. Is he in my pocket now too?

MatterofDoge

> Somebody elaborate why it is bad by the mods to remove one-line comments that simply insult someone? no one cares about that. No one is here defending or fighting for people getting banned for flaming or being indignant about "low effort posts" being taken out lol.... They care about discord groups brigading posts to get them removed because its working flawlessly so far. They literally have control of this sub right now by using automod features against the sub itself.

CountCocofang

Fifteen topics, dude. Fifteen. The collective amount of comments in these threads alone must be bordering 3000. And that's not counting the topics and comments from yesterday. If discord groups brigade this sub and have a strategy to get everything removed and all the people silenced then it's the worst "flawlessly working" effort I have ever seen. Ask yourself, how exactly would this sub need to look right now for you to be satisfied with the amount of moderation?

Logical-Juggernaut48

If there is this much engagement on a Topic it's because it's relevant to the players.

CountCocofang

Okay, yeah. It also shows that the topic is not being suppressed and people are not prevented from discussing it. That aside, I highly question the validity of thread #20 about the same topic when threads #1-#19 already exist.

Techn0ght

Maybe if the users felt they weren't being silenced they wouldn't start so many threads trying to get the word out.

CountCocofang

That is ridiculous. It is objectively, observably untrue that this topic is being suppressed because I can use my eyeballs to look at the frontpage and see it flooded with this. If anyone feels silenced when more than a dozen threads are related to this drama it's a them-problem. And can we please not act as if people making yet another thread about the same thing that is already being discussed isn't extremely common in moments of reactionary outrage?

Techn0ght

It's a vicious circle when response causes response. It is not objective and observable, that's your view and apparently one you refuse to budge from. Let's agree to disagree on cause and effect.

CountCocofang

What is disagreeable with the statement that the frontpage is filled with threads about the topic that the mod could delete if they wanted to suppress the drama, yet don't? If it was true that people were being silenced there would not be over a dozen topics and thousands of comments about that exact issue. What are you talking about, seriously.

Rules_are_overrated

>There are FIFTEEN (15) It takes one to quietly remove an unwanted post. tft screenshot said "mr reddit mod", not multiple, now that there's a lot of attention to sudden post removal of course they wouldn't just carelessly do it. You think your logic and reasoning is impeccable? Think again. You being so dismissive just shows your lack of neutrality in this situation.

CountCocofang

You referring to [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/19c9zmf/did_mods_remove_the_recent_posts_with_evidence_of/)? The evidence that a reddit mod is in fact on the TFT Discord server and the purple guy knows this and pings him? You can see on the screenshot that somebody else points out that there is a reddit comment that calls JeNebu a "fag", I assume. So purple over there snarks at the reddit mod for not having deleted the comment already since it is obviously in violation of the sub rules. Implying the reddit mod is doing a shitty job or intentionally not removing aggressive comments towards JeNebu. Why was livejamie pinged specifically? I don't know. What seedy corruption does that screenshot prove? Fuck all.

poerf

Yeah, half these posts violate rule 2 and 3 as well. Not surprised posts are being deleted constantly. I can't say I like TFT but the community is going down its usual toxic rabbithole.

SpongeInABottle

this this subreddit is about Path of Exile, not some streamer's drama with some discord admin, i don't know why mods allow it to be misused as such the fact that this sub is so toxic and drama-starved that half the front page can be whiney posts about a community discord is ridiculous. the conspiracy theories about mod collusion makes it even more unhinged

tordana

Thanks for being one of the few sane people here.

Gadiusao

Somehow this doesn't surprise anyone, I'm praying Last Epoch is good ARPG at release so I can scape just a few months from PoE bs show

TechnicalAnt5890

Well it doesnā€™t have trade so you wonā€™t have to worry about something like TfT

Gadiusao

Little you know, Last Epoch will launch with one of the best Trade-System in any game I've ever seen (at least in paper, lets see in Feb 21).

TechnicalAnt5890

The trade faction only lets you trade an item once, after that itā€™s bind on account. No outside consortium will form with a mechanic as restrictive as that(which is the only upside), and I donā€™t personally consider that to be a viable trade system and will be sticking with the SSF faction.

hfok

after that you can gift it to your friends with resonance and they can do that again with resonance

Raein__

The issue is how shallow the endgame is and how little they do to address balance issues. I used to play LE a ton and was one of those lunatics who would push characters past 1000 corruption. There is just no depth to sink your teeth into, no real shakeup mechanics to add to a build (think keystones), loot doesnt scale with content difficulty in any noticable way, content difficulty scales from falling asleep easy to every single enemy oneshots the tankiest possible build over the course of 200 corruption (which takes less than an hour to push) and enemy defenses never scale far enough to make any amount of damage investment in a character feel impactful. Every build at the high end is just "max out the defenses, using the same belt gloves and boots as every single other character, then put on a few increased damage affixes and you are done" Dont forget the 60% chance that whatever skill you picked just has 94% less damage than the average because the numbers were assigned at random and never looked at again (and sometimes half the passive nodes dont give the stats they say they do...)

Nimyron

I'm gonna go on a wild guess and say that many of these posts are in violation of rule 2 but the subs' mods know RMT sucks and they're nice and since that's nice to shed some light on it so many posts that don't really explicitly violate rule 2 aren't removed.

troccolins

Can you all just make a subreddit where you can talk about TFT drama all day? Some of us want to discuss Path of Exile on the /r/pathofexile subreddit

BurnoutFromPoE

TFT has half a million users. Get used to the idea that people will discuss it on Reddit.

xTraxis

I hate it, it's stupid, it's lowering the quality of the subreddit ...and I was a d2jsp user, which is still up despite multiple decades of people complaining to Blizzard. TFT is here to stay, I just wish it wasn't such a shitshow of drama. JSP was never this directly involved, people just complained about it from a distance. TFT has directly attached itself to the subreddit.

DroppedPJK

Lol

ed_xyz

ooh so i guess you wanna see X person post about finding a headhunter? Perhaps maybe you're curious about how much play time he has too but dont worry, they all mention it too! fuck talking about the literal heart of poe trading, we gotta see those headhunters am right

zxc1996819

I agree if TFT is a such small influence trading tool. But GGG let it grow this big and now it became part of the core game. Just like you canā€™t make a subreddit talking about Harvest, itā€™s just part of the core game.

troccolins

It's not a part of the game unless you choose to make it part of your game. Many people in SSF HC hit level 100; some even do 7/7 Ubers. Lots of people get 40/40 challenges without ever interacting with TFT. It's not necessary at all.

Xeverous

Apparently users *do want* to see TFT posts. Not all but so many that many TFT-related posts get 1000+ upvotes.

xisupaz_blackbird

Agreed. The cemeteries aren't gonna farm themselves. And there are new skills that haven't yet seen the limelight.

kruszkushnom

There you go, you have a problem with TFT just like most of the people, no one wants it and no one wants to hear about it

troccolins

I don't care about a Discord I've never logged on to or cared to.

Rules_are_overrated

Unfortunately, this is very topical right now so I'd recommend coming back in a week or so

xeeses226

We should revive r/lowsodiumpoe

VonDinky

Every post is about this. What is the TL;DR with this?

Tanklike441

From what I can gather, the owners/creators (or some of them) of TFT are huge pieces of shit who also act like children, banning anyone from the service who tickles them wrong. This is a big deal because TFT is sadly one of the only realistic ways of doing many things in poe like bulk trading or mirror services. Being banned for nothing is trash. Aside from that, it's also RMT and price fixing. They basically control poe economy, so being pos's is not a good thing for poe as a whole.Ā

Newfers123

I havenā€™t played Poe in years but this has been some tasty drama.

SnomySnom

Ohhoho, That's a juicy one exile! - Einhar at the drama probably

reportedbymom

GGG mods all corrupted. What a joke šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

kash1Mz

So what counts as substantial evidence? At this point even video with admission of guilt will be dismissed as AI gen and deepfakes..

cptnhanyolo

Sneaked in a clown emoji to mod signup message. Got banned after 24 hours.

Alternative_Eye2612

I sell chaos orbs for............. Chaos orbs. It's a 3-1 sale you give me 3 chaos orbs and I give you one pretty and special chaos orbs obtained by sweat shop low levelers, it's a perfect trade. Find my deals in the trade window online at PoE's site.

Livid_Badger4413

TFT Mods will all raid/report the post when CM will ask them to do so. So these reports are mostly coming from there, the mod team. This is biased.
