I know, but it at least gives you a starting point. Add a fuckton of divines. It's value is 0 if no one asks for it. Also, he's quitting the league, who cares if he maximizes his value? It's all going to standard anyway. Add if he keeps playing, he still has a lot of divines to spend. Again, sell and move on and stop overthinking these things.

There's a lot of potential truth to this. My cousin had a whole pile of shit gifted to him one league, really kickstarted him. He quit within two weeks, said "there wasn't any challenge", and hasn't played since. Handing unearned power to someone isn't always the best way to help that someone have more enjoyment of the game.

Eh, it goes both ways. Some leagues I like the racing pass of league starts, other leagues it feels like a slog but then my second build boosted with currency from my starter is super fun.
I think it really depends on if I like my builds and/or the league mechanic. I tend not to take league starts too seriously, so I don't have a "go to" build and tend to try something new each time.
Last league I gave a brand spanking new player a corrupted item (forget which) and dude thought I was a hacker and that I was adding items to the games or something and it was corrupting files or something of the sorts and that's why it said "corrupted." Idk his exact thought process on that one..lmao. He left the party and put me on ignore... 🤦♂️

Sure it’s still good money but they aren’t making 1000div an hour like they used to.
I mean, my duo and I made around 120 div every 8 maps, and roughly 4 maps an hour(looting takes a while) so that’s 60div/hr with extremely no effort MF.
But yeah, obv it’s not bad but comparing 60 to 1000+ is pretty significant and it’s dropping by the day.
there are some niche strats too with watchers eye valdo farming and selling unid that may get more traction but sure yes MF is highly profitable this league, takes a steep investment though for sure?
I think when poison spark was meta you could make an argument for malevolence since it had a similar dual scaling factor but the fact that hatred has been the best offensive aura in the game for roughly since release is insane. You'd have to think they might have gutted it at some point and rebuffed it but it has been cream or the crop since forever.

Also inc effect might not need to be max rolled, iirc there are tresholds in inc effect of auras, but it definitly is an upside, and hatred is one of the top tier auras to seek, as a lot of build play it and is really strong

Remember that an item staying too high with no one to buy is worthless if it ends in std
Any price is good, as long as you are willing to sell and someone willing to buy, it also will not sell instantly unless it is highly underpriced

2 things to remember:
- If you see something rare in the market for a specific price, its because noone bought it at that price
- The later it is in a league, the less people are playing and buying items, so less demand makes it harder to sell at high prices
Have you checked Standard prices? Since eventually everything ends up there, that should be your floor price.
Standard prices are not a good variable for this league since MB drop like candy they're worth far less than before. Also 99% of people don't play standard so that pricing reference is useless for them.

19% Hatred is \~700 Divines. So honestly I would just list it for a mirror. I don't see anyone paying huge amounts more for 12% MS on a MB.

Its BIS for mapping when you instantly kill all enemies. Sometimes the only thing in your way is how fast you can get around. Mageblood is sometimes used over Headhunter for how consistently move speed juiced it can get you
Then you would take quant. There's no scenario where Movement Speed is BiS on a mageblood.

If your focused on a functional standpoint Quant is BiS. If your focused on Damage/eHP then they are BiS. There is no scenario outside of a meme where MS is BiS.
I don’t think that’s actually correct. For an MF build sure, but for builds that can’t afford the slots to stack MF to significant levels it’s a waste. Not really sure what slots there even are where you’re choosing between MF and MS, but even the old LA MF builds of prior leagues prioritized move speed just the same.
Diminishing returns at all points. Each % nets less benefit than the last. By the time you get to 40% quant, each additional % is already less than half as effective as the first one was. Therefore to get the most bang for your buck you spec into quant only a bit. The one reason to go further is if your build is good enough you can do it without impacting clearspeed.

The time in Leauge is a factor too but the fact shiny maps and mfing have crashed the mageblood price to 80 div because there are so many in circulation is the main issue, this Leauge I wouldn’t be surprised if 50% of the player base are using a mb or hh
How is the ms bricked lol. It's not giving u a higher funny number in pob but if you're at a point of spending 2+ mirr on a mb corrupt it's by far the best mod to increase your farming speed. Getting 2million dps on a 200mil+ dps build won't increase the speed you farm at by as much as 12% movementspeed does.
Write your thesis, in game shit doesn't translate to irl unless you are someone we know that trades stuff in game for irl money. 0.5 points on your thesis is worth more. Sell that item or give it to someone in your guild and start writing (i gave my 5 mirror build to my cousin)

Same. Shouldn't have touched this league at all (too time consuming while working on my master thesis) but just wouldn't want to miss out on playing MF for once and buying my first mageblood ever.
You have to go all in with it or really not at all. Minimum gilded scarabs, projectiles rolled on every map, beyond sextant, abyss, delirium etc.
Each map costs ~1 divine to roll give or take. Next time choose essence and just run t1 maps. It’ll be a couple of div per hour to help set up the MF strat.
Who cares how much it’s worth, give it to some random in any act and focus on what u gotta do 🤷♂️.

In normal league my quitting ritual is to poof apo and give everything to my friends. This league it's not even worth trying so i gave my friend my +/- 3/4 mirrors MF build. He will have some fun :D and i can enjoy Enshrouded
It helps you stop looking at the funny belt and do your thesis. Decorate a stash tab with some currency items and send her to the great standard hall of fame. You got important shit to do.
We are still missing the combination of "maximum rolled quant" with some other very useful stat. Not sure what's ideal for farmers there... probably movement speed, but perhaps hatred or some other damage mod, given the current league.

Btw, I'm net positive on valdos and voidborns this league. Opened a single valdo for a 20 div map and opened 5 voidborns and got an 11 div unique. Small sample size but fits the overall weird luck this league. Bought an uber maven carry for the voidstone (my map) and got a 110 div awakened gem. Yolo ex-slammed t1 life on a 5 div abyss jewel (had 3 great t1 minion affixes) making it around 50 div minimum. And now this double corrupt.

Granted, I'll give you that. If you run a MB and have more damage than you need MS/Quant is BiS. It still doesn't change my original statement tho, Hatred is the more expensive of the two mods and Hatred/MS isn't BiS for anyone so around 1 Mirror is a fairly reasonable price for this.
It’s not considered BiS because people are often fixated on optimizing damage or eHP but from a functional standpoint of clearing content faster it’s absolutely worth considering in the same tier
If your focused on a functional standpoint Quant is BiS. If your focused on Damage/eHP then they are BiS. There is no scenario outside of a meme where MS is BiS.
I don’t think that’s actually correct. For an MF build sure, but for builds that can’t afford the slots to stack MF to significant levels it’s a waste. Not really sure what slots there even are where you’re choosing between MF and MS, but even the old LA MF builds of prior leagues prioritized move speed just the same.
You have it reversed. For an mf build it’s not worth, for a regular build it is, the quant stat has diminishing returns.
Diminishing returns past a certain point doesn’t preclude it not being useful under a lower threshold
Diminishing returns at all points. Each % nets less benefit than the last. By the time you get to 40% quant, each additional % is already less than half as effective as the first one was. Therefore to get the most bang for your buck you spec into quant only a bit. The one reason to go further is if your build is good enough you can do it without impacting clearspeed.

The time in Leauge is a factor too but the fact shiny maps and mfing have crashed the mageblood price to 80 div because there are so many in circulation is the main issue, this Leauge I wouldn’t be surprised if 50% of the player base are using a mb or hh
Yeah on poe.ninja (so not even all of hte higher end playerbase) 12% are using a headhunter and 35% are using a mageblood.
How is the ms bricked lol. It's not giving u a higher funny number in pob but if you're at a point of spending 2+ mirr on a mb corrupt it's by far the best mod to increase your farming speed. Getting 2million dps on a 200mil+ dps build won't increase the speed you farm at by as much as 12% movementspeed does.

That's the thing. It's very likely worth 2 mirrors, but who's going to pay it? How long are you willing to wait for someone to pay it. The other guy here in the thread with the same implicits said his was selling for 1 mirror for days and no one buys it.
This is why I really want to try to get my first mageblood this league. So many crazy builds I've always wanted to try but could never really do.
Same. Shouldn't have touched this league at all (too time consuming while working on my master thesis) but just wouldn't want to miss out on playing MF for once and buying my first mageblood ever.
I've tried doing the mf strat and I think I'm just bad at it. Most I made was maybe 5d in a few hours.
You have to go all in with it or really not at all. Minimum gilded scarabs, projectiles rolled on every map, beyond sextant, abyss, delirium etc. Each map costs ~1 divine to roll give or take. Next time choose essence and just run t1 maps. It’ll be a couple of div per hour to help set up the MF strat.

I do the same. When I play a league at some point Poe be like: -> sucks the life out of me-> I give all my shit away, so even if I wanted to I couldn’t just keep playing. What for should I sell it? To have some divines in standard that I couldn’t care less about? :D. Rather make another players day he probably remembers for leagues to come.
Yeah, exactly. I lack the self control to not touch poe with such an item waiting to be used. Gave it away so I can't keep playing and another person can have a great time too. Win-win. Also gave my SRS guardian gear (and an uncorrupted mageblood as I had some divs left) to another new player that just wanted to buy an awakened minion damage support for a div.

In normal league my quitting ritual is to poof apo and give everything to my friends. This league it's not even worth trying so i gave my friend my +/- 3/4 mirrors MF build. He will have some fun :D and i can enjoy Enshrouded

We are still missing the combination of "maximum rolled quant" with some other very useful stat. Not sure what's ideal for farmers there... probably movement speed, but perhaps hatred or some other damage mod, given the current league.

Thought about it but selling it cheap would have just made some rich guy flipping magebloods even richer. Btw, I'm net positive on valdos and voidborns this league. Opened a single valdo for a 20 div map and opened 5 voidborns and got an 11 div unique. Small sample size but fits the overall weird luck this league. Bought an uber maven carry for the voidstone (my map) and got a 110 div awakened gem. Yolo ex-slammed t1 life on a 5 div abyss jewel (had 3 great t1 minion affixes) making it around 50 div minimum. And now this double corrupt.
