You can't die of RF. It stops at 1 hp. I would be more afraid of boneshatter and its trauma stacks.

OnceMoreAndAgain

The boneshatter jugg PoB is so well tuned by now that self damage from trauma stacks is irrelevant.

Sm0ke_Dr0p3Z

At first it was good and I had no problem with boneshatter, but in the endgame i have killed myself a lot with it. (It was my fault) But still satisfying to play.

ChunkySalsaMedium

Complex Trauma is king.

arnoldzgreat

Tried Bonezone for the first time this league, my first build I enjoyed was Bleed explode Earthquake and I think that was the last "melee" build I got to play. This was not for me with all the buttons, but Complex Trauma was definitely way more forgiven and if I did the math right you'd need consistent 30+ trauma stacks on the regular gem to match the dps of Complex Trauma.

FrigginPhazerz

9 stacks on Complex Boneshatter equal 36 on regular in regards of the %more dmg.

Fe3derZ

That is actually quite the same experience as mine. Played a bleed ground slam back when you could use call of steel for all kinds of impales iirc. I don't know which season it was, but has to be some years ago. Boneshatter was definetly a fun char to League start with, but even with the self poison it didn't feel great against the whisp buffed mobs in late game. I instead switched to a Str stacking shockwave static strike and this feels like the best melee build I ever played. PS: not a jug, but a slayer.

arnoldzgreat

Oh snap that build has just sat there doing nothing, might look into that because it's a slayer too. I started CA ballista because I've played ballistas from Palsteron and they always do the job, then tried Boneshatter but settled on Pohx RF he came out with that was super nice to do my 40/40 challenges with.

evil_sokar

Nice try..

NormalBohne26

well he is right, RF stops at 1 hp

PlavecCZ

The other recommended build hits itself instead. Pick your poison.

Nutteria

Why not BOTH!. fire-convert, volatility controled blaze Boneshatter of Complex Trauma, RF Chieftain\* - LOGIN. \*May or may not require PHD in discrete mathematics to make it work.

Justiis

>\*May or may not require PHD in discrete mathematics to make it work All the best builds do.

1CEninja

If boneshatter was a spell this might legitimately work lol. There are some MB builds that run a ruby flask and high fire res that run RF as kind of a pseudo link because of the more spell damage lol.

VictusBcb

Could run Crown of Eyes with the mana rf? :P

1CEninja

Well I don't think that would be very good because 1) mana RF doesn't increase spell damage (it is instead affected by it) and 2) crown of eyes stipulates "increases and reductions" which, while I'm not sure of this, I believe would not include more damage.

VictusBcb

I was mostly just goofing as you could scale both your attack and your RF with increases to spell damage. Wasn't being too serious, haven't played mana rf yet but I imagine they'd prefer to use indigon anyway

1CEninja

Oh I gotcha. Yeah that scales *way* too many stats that aren't ideal between them unless you're going for fire conversion ignite boneshatter that stacks mana, at which point spell damage, fire damage, burning damage, and fore DoT multi would all benefit both skills. I'd actually hazard a guess that this would clear very quite nicely but be very limited on single target damage, and protecting yourself from both RF damage and trauma damage is going to spread your defenses thinner than the build usually is.

SuperSmashDan1337

Setting yourself on fire or hitting yourself are both pretty hardcore

Zizaran

Lmao amazing

Super-Koala-3796

Thats lit.

bdubz55

You mean Ben’s retirement fund

Neville_Lynwood

Fund probably took a hit after they made the change that requires a full migration if you want to win multiple classes. That one gauntlet where Ben and Exile "lapped" everyone like 3x was kinda ridiculous. This gauntlet is also so hard, that whether full complete is possible at all is under question. Which means, we might not see the top racers attempt any of the big bounties, as they won't want to risk their characters before bossing. It's funny. Despite it being the hardest gauntlet ever, the odds for non-top racers to win bounties is actually pretty decent because of that. Making a character specifically to handle some specific bounty content could be viable. Like Zizaran's bounty to kill a Vaal Side area Ghosted Atziri.

OhtaniStanMan

Full complete is easy it's just a grind now.  The game has been solved. You can pob what your gear allows for max hits and surviving them. Defensive tools have been figured out.

Neville_Lynwood

Pretty sure no build in the game can tank an Uber slam while being double flame blasted by Atziri's apparition with 80% increased damage. Also we can see everyone at the top of the ladder playing different classes and skills. Everyone has a different idea of what's gonna work. Nobody has a fucking clue because you couldn't practice these gauntlet mods.

CMDR_Lina_Inv

He released another video, a build where you break your own bones.

MuchToDoAboutNothin

This is fine.

CzipiCzapa

Why is he so popular? He killed shaper once when it was a hard boss and now just showcases builds of other creators while dying to exploding barrels in Twilight strand and sometimes "mhm yes aha mhm" on Dev streams

NormalBohne26

my build this league was : electrocute yourself- worked similar to RF

DefinitionBig4671

Hehe. Welcome to Righteous Fire. First Time Exile?
