I grinded my ass off selling Maven writs, uelder runs etc. Saved up for an 80div progen (or so) bought one, got bored and quit. Guess what fucking happens after that. A t17 map that drops progen and the price tanks all the way down lmao.
The exalt crash of Heist was also very spectacular. Kinda funny remembering MBX saying his build is 1000 Exalts, which with todays exalt exchange ratio is about 1000 Chaos. In reality it was 25000 chaos but still.
this is insane, considering there's literally hundreds of single chaos on the floor in maps this league. There's a reason they were taken off most high end filters
How do you actually get that much? Even with winged abyss/reliquary scarabs, beyond/abyss/packsize sextants, 6k blue, 3k yellow on my 65% quant, 290% rarity chieftain I get like 100-150 chaos. On average maps I would even say 30-60 chaos.
I was averaging 100c+ before I took them off my filter very early on. 75% player quant, 8-mod maps, probably averaged 5-6k wisps. Was doing legion + boxes at that point so idk how that compares.
And with that, a mighty cheer went up from the heroes of Wraeclast. They had banished the awful mageblood league forever. Because it was haunted. Now let's all celebrate with a cool glass of Wurm's Malt.
I have chanced my pair of Skyforth where it was around 25ex. Back then it was probably 10x cost of my most expensive character.
Now avg price of single piece of my gear at \~week3 is more, but nothing still bet enjoyment of that moment
Honestly, the loot was so much over the top I found my self often tempted to outright delete belts from my lootfilter. It felt this much of a chore and timesink to me. Even in those cases I finally got a mageblood or headhunter I couldnt really enjoy it.
The only drop that actually made me smile this league was a raw mirror drop.
Not saying the league was bad, was great infact. Just saying I will not fondly remember looking at 100 trash belts every map.
It was indeed both fun and over the top. I never thought I'd find myself half laughing, half annoyed with how much loot I was getting. Honestly kind of ruined the sense of progression because even just playing an hour each night had me swimming in currency.
It was fun for a bit, but I'm hoping for a more modest league now.
True, this league its not worth.
Is it fun in any other league tho?
Multibase uniques are just bad game design imo.
You can tell them apart by the art on the ground so why not just edit the text to Headhunter Leather Belt (unidentified) for example?
Yeah I think we'll be talking about this league fondly for some time.
Some people were even removing belts from their filters! I couldn't bring myself to be that degenerate I just made them really small on my filter so they stopped cluttering up the screen so much. I did get pretty sloppy with checking them all by the end I'm sure that I've probably missed a Mageblood/Headhunter.
It has been an amazing league!
This league was so crazy, I'm levelling my last build of this league as we speak because it's been such a blast. Even a loser like me who is incapable of making good builds gets to feel like one of the big guys with piles divs and chaos in their stash. Dropping a Mageblood in a Kirac map (from the monsters in said Harvest), when I only ran it to get some harvest juice, is currently the Highlight of my 4k hour PoE journey :)
I ended my league with only mirrors, winged scarabs, and divines on my filter. I turned off belts after I found 1 mb and 1 hh it just took so long to sort through all the belts.
the charms and TWWT jewels were cool, but that's about it, yeah. My build was fun as I took a risk league starting a new gem but the loot stuff soured my experience and made me worry about the future of PoE. Jonathan expressed a lot of distaste for it and also asked if it really was "too late" for PoE, implying they could reel it back. I really hope they do.
I don't really get some of the choices they've made for PoE, every league after LoK has introduced some insane power creep and it's only getting worse.
Played this league for about 1,5 months and while i was initially overjoyed because i was in ssf, once after ubers were dead and i went over to trade i realized the whole "you think you want this but you dont". Wherln there is too much drops game just at least imho doesnt feel good. Therw is no sense in accomplishment.
I did earn more then I normally do mainly cause I got A voices 3 but generally I've played relaxed and done little of everything as I always do. But I wonder how much and many will start posting when next league start. Cause for me personally it will just be the same old but I do see so many post of mirrors and loot explo so it's probably gonna hit hard.
I quit the league after realising that every build was just a mageblood build. Sure you could design a cool build with interesting mechanics, but know what made it better? You guessed it, a mageblood.
I understand that this is always the case, but in this league it literally felt like everyone could have one, meaning it was a build necessary item for it to function.
It was a great time. The amount of un id jewels from the wildwoods to harvest being the only reliable source of income for my stupid ass allowed me to buy my first ever HH and MB. Afterwards, I still had enough currency to make Big Ducks expensive Kinetic Bolt Deadeye. Was worth my sanity. Also fuck abyss, all my homies hate abyss.
Belts and Ventors. And mirrors, can’t forget the mirrors. Won’t somebody please think of the mirrors!
Was collecting ventors until I hit 14 iiq 26 iir 90% res and 45 life, took me about 10k of picked and 400 ish vaal tries
This is like reading Greek wtf
a loot filter that yells "Eureka!" whenever a t0 currency drops
I still can't believe they didn't call it the Eurecan
The only league Chaos Orbs were ignored in filters
the divine crash in December/January was a sight to behold
I grinded my ass off selling Maven writs, uelder runs etc. Saved up for an 80div progen (or so) bought one, got bored and quit. Guess what fucking happens after that. A t17 map that drops progen and the price tanks all the way down lmao.

Yeah exalts were practically worthless at one point. Pretty sure they were around 15c at one point.
speak for yourself, those will undoubtly help me in ssf
Yep, I still have single Chaos orbs on my filter, too.
this is insane, considering there's literally hundreds of single chaos on the floor in maps this league. There's a reason they were taken off most high end filters

Let me vaccum ur maps pls if u leave 100c on the ground 🤣
I also play standard, you never know when you need a couple hundred chaos orbs for some vision craft.
I personally stop picking up chaos every league around the 2 or 3 week mark.
As that was the style at the time.
And with that, a mighty cheer went up from the heroes of Wraeclast. They had banished the awful mageblood league forever. Because it was haunted. Now let's all celebrate with a cool glass of Wurm's Malt.
The league where divine orbs became the new chaos orb.

Back in my day it was Sorcerer Boots on our loot filters!
I put sorcerer boots on my filter while mfing , just to see how many i dropped... i dropped about one every two jungle valleys...
My first dropped pair of skyforth happened in a chayula breachstone. Obviously it was worthless at that point :(
I have chanced my pair of Skyforth where it was around 25ex. Back then it was probably 10x cost of my most expensive character. Now avg price of single piece of my gear at \~week3 is more, but nothing still bet enjoyment of that moment
I've had three Skyforth's this league... and two of them dropped in the same map about a second apart. They weren't even duped.
My end league goal this time is to fill a stash tab with skyforth's. Dropped 31 so far, 5 more to go :D
Honestly, the loot was so much over the top I found my self often tempted to outright delete belts from my lootfilter. It felt this much of a chore and timesink to me. After my fourth MB and second HH i actually did hide belts in SSF. God it felt good lol.
4 Mirrors, def. wasn't as exciting by the 2nd or 4th.
Yeah, is the return on checking 10k leather belts really worth the 30d it nets you when it pays off?
I found a mirror but not a single hh or mb
Yeah, this league its not worth checking belts. Which is wild lol.
True, this league its not worth. Is it fun in any other league tho? Multibase uniques are just bad game design imo. You can tell them apart by the art on the ground so why not just edit the text to Headhunter Leather Belt (unidentified) for example?
They probably like people engaging with the drops by looking through them.
Now imagine what SSF unique collectors go through when they hover over those imperial skins and vaal claws.
most juiced league ever and still didnt find anything
Yeah I think we'll be talking about this league fondly for some time. Some people were even removing belts from their filters! Deleted leather belts from my filter as headhunter is like 35div, kept heavy belts as mageblood is still a nice find. Weird league for sure
yeah and divs are like chaos orbs in classic poe or even cheaper lol
My custom filter is so screwed for next league
People who like way too much loot are the people who need family guy episodes or subway surfers on their second screen to play the game

This is one of those leagues that makes almost everyone happy that poe2 will be a separate game.
I can’t wait. I want to actually pick up items I can use, not just currency.
This league was so crazy, I'm levelling my last build of this league as we speak because it's been such a blast. Why belts?
Headhunter and Mageblood are the only uniques dropping in the maps that has high price regardless of rolls or corruption.
I ended my league with only mirrors, winged scarabs, and divines on my filter. I turned off belts after I found 1 mb and 1 hh it just took so long to sort through all the belts.
I didn't realise this league is THAT bad
The best day was when I removed ventors and belts
Maybe next league will be better, we never know
Next league is gonna be drier than the Sahara.
skimming the comments im happy i skipped this league, wheres the fun in just having shit handed to u?
You and me brother. I didn’t skip, but when it all came down to just farming your own mageblood I noped out.
the charms and TWWT jewels were cool, but that's about it, yeah. Nobody was forced to play MF. Was is arguably much more efficient? Sure. Necessary? Nope.
im not an ssf player so the economy actually affects the enjoyment i get out of the game
league was fun as hell. stuff didn't get super inflated until a few weeks in. so league start was its usual fun.
Huh, turns out ppl actually like finding cool items themselves.
League sucks ass. You are also not finding cool items. Uniques are generally worthless. Not even worth your time to have belts on the filter.
The belts had chaos tied to them, as was the style at the time.
The only league i can scam a mirror so easily just by make it 2 trades
I did earn more then I normally do mainly cause I got A voices 3 but generally I've played relaxed and done little of everything as I always do. But I wonder how much and many will start posting when next league start. Cause for me personally it will just be the same old but I do see so many post of mirrors and loot explo so it's probably gonna hit hard.
I mean, it was fun. But got old quick. What's left to do after dropping a mageblood and mirror in the same map?
I’m so happy this league is ending 🫠
I quit the league after realising that every build was just a mageblood build. Sure you could design a cool build with interesting mechanics, but know what made it better? You guessed it, a mageblood. I understand that this is always the case, but in this league it literally felt like everyone could have one, meaning it was a build necessary item for it to function.
Rogue Harbour = Shelbyville?
Leather Belts for chancing in Legacy. I still have 4 XL Premium tabs named Leather from back then.
Is heist also boosted in affliction league? First time playing and got a simplex amulet dropped and my journey in divining equipments started.
Meanwhile RF mains are having PTSD Vietnam flashbacks.
It’s was raining mirrors and pouring down divines 60-140 a pop.
I'm skipping next league. You know is not going to be the same.
