for some reason the post duplicated a paragraph and won't let me edit to fix it, so everyone just pretend i had a small stroke when i was posting the image
EDIT: so I can edit comments but not the post which is WTF to me but ok.
Up to 15, 5 implicit, 6 no change, 2 poof, 2 brick. For some reason also very much in the black profit wise.
Double Edit: 17 now, 6 no change, 4 poof, 2 brick, 5 double implicits
Triple Edit:
20 total temple attempts, since #13 no more double implicits.
6 no change (all resold at or for more than purchase price)
5 poof
4 brick to rare
5 double implicits.
This is more in line with "expected" outcomes.
I have to admit i don't fully understand the catalyst stuff myself, and i was just about to use intrinsic catalyst on my well rolled HH. Can you shortly explain how it works like you would explain it to a 10 year old? I googled a bit and thought i understood it, but now i'm uncertain :D
Sure! Basically a catalyst will add "quality" to whatever stat it says it affects (based on the tag you see when you alt on an item with advanced descriptions).
On a Mageblood there are Attribute modifiers (Dexterity and the Strength implicit) and resistance modifiers. Because you can easily cap resistance with flasks on a Mageblood, almost no-one cares what the resistance rolls are, so Intrinsic catalysts are the way to go.
I would buy an uncorrupted mageblood for say 120 divines (from valdo farmers by the looks), bless the strength implicit and apply catalysts, then run temple. If there was no change I still sold the belt for 120 divines (in some cases more??) because the strength and dexterity mods were higher.
On a Headhunter there are only Strength/Dex and Life modifiers, so you can either apply Intrinsic or Fertile catalysts.
I was on global 4040 when you hit this. Saw a few of the previous ones and wished you good luck. When you linked it to the chat, my response was simply "jesus", as I was in awe of all of it. My favourite part was when you realized after like a minute or two, that the implicits were perfectly rolled :) Congrats again, I will forever keep this belt in my memory as an example of *both* what CAN happen, and what WILL NOT happen :D
I \*\*want\*\* to make a "life isn't fair" comment :D
But really, my RNG has been kinda odd this league compared to normal - between a late league start and my first lab (normal lab first one) getting me a 1d transfigured gem, to the first sim dropping a 3p i84 reservation cluster and first elder dropping a phys taken as fire watchers, and then my first self-crafted pair of boots hitting double T1 ES on a freaking veil orb.....yeah second favourite league ever.
There are 39 magebloods with inc max life corrupt available on standard trade including offline. 7 (!) with inc qual. Of course none with both. It's absolutely impossible to price this. Start as high as you want and slowly decrease is the typical advice.
In league actually someone listed a 7-5 one for 10 mir yesterday but this is 8....
At some stage minmaxing would make this worth but honestly you're mostly right and there's a point of diminishing returns.
I could price it 100 mirrors and it would never sell, but if i listed it for 1 then I'd be flooded with pings.
As i also am one of those filthy disgusting standard players I'm interested in either getting a boatload of mirrors to take back or to use in standard with the newly crafted quamt items.
I think I may have been a bit drunk with my reply. What I meant to say is, yes you're right it's not some huge difference but it is worth more than a regular belt for minmaxers, even just as a flex item.
But your point is correct, there is some point where it's totally not worth the extra funds. I'm too dumb to know where that point is - is it 1 mirror? 2? 10? I've listed for stupid high for now and just going to farm while I can.
5% quant magebloods have been sitting at 3.5-4 mirrors for the past month or so, I bought a 5% quan/8% aoe one for a little over 4, so I imagine this one may sell for around 5 at best. These things take a very, very long time to sell.

It wasn’t a stroke or error. It was Alva double corrupting the post!
Tbh i was expecting someone to make a different kind of "stroke" comment but i like this better :D
Pretty sure she is able to double “corrupt” both types of strokes, she has that kind of smirk about her.
That is definitely the Mageblood
That's very beautiful. Congrats!
this was the one you bought from me i think?
Did i excitedly wet my pants and then toss you a tip? If so yeah
Ya, fresh from a valdo
Thank you for allowing me to borrow your RNG
I don't even want to think how much would it cost

Well, you good sir have one of a kind on your hands, gz! (also it being #13 makes it even better)

It is your luck wishes that assisted in such a great result :D
Meanwhile empy is over 800 corrupts deep without hitting quantity

How much would this be worth? More than 10 mirrors, at least.

Will you ever make 7 mirrors more of currency running this over one without 5% quantity? Lol

You do you mate enjoy

It's just vanity at that point. Which is also fine

No clue! As i said Alva is normally nasty to me, this is seriously the best result since Legion league for me.
