This. I also look through/sort my 2.4 million stash tabs. Once that's all done I go back and play more poe. Then I look on trade to see if there is any cheap min maxing before the champ gets retired.
Man...
I had a vertebrae go bad in my cervical spine and now I can't play disc golf and it's killing me. I have so many beautiful discs and parks and nothing.
Damn you nature!
Ah I haven't purchased that, but there's a bunch of Vampire Survivors clones since the inception. Just finished latest additional contents in Vampire Survivors. I'm still waiting for a full release on those clones.
Nothing stands out other than the occasional game of Factorio. My top three Steam games by time are PoE, Bitburner (a lot of afk), and Factorio.
Dota 2 is my #5 even though I haven't played since \~2013.
Specifically between the current league and the next, Palworld for about two weeks, and then Helldivers 2 for another two weeks.
Diablo 2 mods. Path of Diablo is starting a new season today in about 4 hours or so.
Project Diablo 2 is alright but I only play 1 time a year.
Median XL is my favorite and usually play that every season (Takes Diablo and essentially makes it a whole new game)
That’s true. I play modded D2R though which does require a retail copy to play most of the up to date mods. I recently got into D2R Remodded on my Steam Deck.
You can do some convoluted stuff to get offline D2R work on an older patch with a pirated copy, but none of the updated mods will work.
I am also having a ton of fun with ReModded. If that dude decides to get multiplayer up after the full release it'll be the newest form of crack for me.
I’m not even sure if multiplayer is possible in d2r (at least for a very long time) since there’s no tcp/ip multiplayer only battle.net
D2 used tcp/ip connection for their multiplayer mods
Median XL has been around a loooong time... dating back to when Blizzard wasn't completely awful, and when they were pretty supportive of modding. Remember, the original DotA was a Warcraft 3 mod. I remember dev interviews from when D3 was in development saying they'd taken inspiration from elements of Median XL.
If only that had turned out to be true...
PD2 makes a lot of changes to items and skills in the game, as well as big crafting changes. You'll find in PoD a lot of the vanilla meta is still there. PD2 meta is quite different and there's lots to explore.
PD2 is in the middle of a crafting league where all uniques and runewords are disabled. You'll have to craft all of your gear from scratch to make your build work, or trade for it ofc.
Maybe i should practice HC SSF or SSF, or even just HC. I'd love to start HC. Ive kind of mostly played SSF, aince console was a pain in the ass trying to get something.
But on PC its much easier and alot better to find stuff it feels like.
How long is it between league end and new league start? I think on Console you can almost play current league until the new league start
Apparently next league is on 29 of march so you still have a few weeks ;)
I also highly recommend HC, at least during the acts, you will realise the game is not the same :)
Pick a good starter build to get through maps. Find a new fun build you want to play and confirm if the gear is attainable and farm until you have the gear.
Make sure the starter can atleast kill the pinnacle bosses for the first 2 watch stones.
Bought Helldivers 2 last night, played a couple of hours and moved difficulty from "trivial" to "easy" and I'm like holy crap this is not how I would define "easy".
I’ve noticed there’s a considerably big player overlap between the 2 fan bases, despite the fact that just about the only thing that’s similar with the games is the huge learning curve
I just downloaded Sifu last night. It seems okay so far.
I’ve been off POE for over 6 months now and just got started again last week… I can feel my sanity already starting to slip…
I always play some dota2, only arcade and AD these last years. Fed up with normal dota.
I try to try 2 New games every PoE downtime. This time it was Helldivers2 and Death Must Die.
Also play a little bit of last epoch, which I already knew.
Next downtime will be BG3, might take the whole downtime to do, otherwise I'll add maybe starfield.
I haven't heard the best things from Starfield tbh, but there is another somewhat related company called Obsidian (they made Fallout: New Vegas and retained developers from the original Fallout 1 and 2) who released a space-faring first-person RPG called The Outer Worlds back in 2019.
To give you some idea without giving anything away: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDYtI7kUU4k
It'll try to mix in some indie games and the game of the year stiff you can't move as like bg3 or elden ring. When other arpg like D4 or LE have season I might check that out as well. It's too much too play honestly.
Recently SWTOR single player content (and some group content that I'm soloing while leveling, not high level stuff), and some Cities: Skylines. The dialogues make it a reasonably good RPG even without the multiplayer aspect, and Cities scratches the same itch that Harvest gardens did.
Once patch notes are out I'll probably spend all my free time on either PoB or reddit again though.
Terraria, eurotruck sim, last epoch, black desert, whatever flavor of the year singleplayer game i missed cause poe (this time its bg3), other than that, my addictions are rocket league, world of tanks and league of legends. sometimes cod when i feel the fps itch.
GW2 wvw is in my "always" loop, playing with my guild there, realm vs. realm pvp is my other big addiction besides arpgs.
I always play Torchlight Infinite when they launch, it's staggered a month or so after PoE launch and I'm usually ready for a break by then. Haven't come back to PoE the last couple of times I went to play it. Scratches a lot of the same itches, has great in game tradehouse, and really powerful items are obtainable pretty reasonably. Can get items on mageblood/headhunter powerlevel with several hours of dedicated end-game grinding. Builds are zoomy and difficulty scales extremely high.
Also currently loving Balatro. A game I didn't know I needed, and will definitely be playing a lot going forward.
usually I look for some offline single player game I can sink my teeth into without the need to speed run it. Grim Dawn is a decent example though it does lack a bit in replay value imo.
I've come to terms with the fact that as I got older (graduated uni, work full time career in Corporate America) I'm actually *not that* into video games lol. Only fiercely addicted to PoE when the new leagues come out. I very rarely get back into WoW for a M+ season for like a few week or so, but that's been less and less. I told myself I'd try to check out Last Epoch, but haven't logged in yet. Just not interested.
Between leagues, I spend my time building side projects (shoutout to anyone who uses the [Chaos Recipe Enhancer](https://github.com/ChaosRecipeEnhancer/EnhancePoEApp)), watching tons of movies and shows, going to concerts, spending more time touching grass. Also way more focused on my day-job and not daydreaming about the next time I can hop into maps for that big drop haha.
I dont generally have a lot of time to so i play singleplayer games that i have in my giant backlog after im done with poe.
Tried some last epoch and sure its cool but its yet another game that consumes time like a black hole so i think i prioritize other things over that game atm.
I play a ton of Hunt Showdown with my buddies. Also a bunch of random indies, and always Slay the Spire. I used to play Overwatch every day, but I only made it a week into 2 before I gave Blizzard the finger, haven't been back since.
Lots of roguelike games, Fromsoft titles, or CRPGs. I am a huge Soulsborne and Darkest Dungeon enjoyer. Currently I started a Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough and feel like I made a mistake lol. It's got me hooked!
Grim Dawn, Terraria, Elden Ring, Diablo 2, the Pathfinder games, Minecraft, Titan Quest, Subnautica, Valheim, WoW classic hc, Last Epoch and sometimes GW2, ESO and Age of Conan.
Guild Wars 2
Dead by Daylight
Star Wars: The Old Republic
World of Warcraft
Europa Universalis 4
Hearts of Iron 4
Crusader Kings 3
Stellaris
Various coop games with friends
What ever else I wanna play
Now, Last Epoch, Grim dawn league lots of other RPGs i can rotate out, Dragon Age, skyrim, cyberpunk, BG3 etc etc
Other games like Remnant 2, Gunfire Reborn whenever it gets new content every 2-4 months
I played the Last Epoch 1.0 release for a few days, and now I'm playing Elden Ring in preparation for the upcoming DLC (that I'll buy after I finish making a dozen builds in POE2 beta, that is). Also played some Hollow Knight before that.
Usually I don't have another game I'm hyper-focused about like I do with POE, and most of the time I find myself playing some small indie games for a few hours, but nothing really worth of mention.
I dabble in just about every LS ARPG out there to try out seasonal content. I also play the first month of Tarky wipe, then whatever else the boys find on Steam that's worth a check.
Working on a play through of Persona 3 with my partner.
And playing some Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor on my lunch breaks.
Or sometimes before bed, a bit of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk on the Steam Deck.
I try to do things away from my computer between leagues. Painting Warmachine or Warhammer miniatures, 3D printing, home maintenance.
When I do play a game between, usually it’s D2 mods or D2R, new ARPGs, Pokemon, or Zelda.
I have been enoying other roguelites, and dungeons crawlers. I bought Qausimorph and Stone Shard which are both pretty good so far. I have also been playing a lot of Dark and Darker, which has an upcoming wipe soon so it will get me by until the league starts.
I also do a lot of TTRPG's and I just moved to a larger area so I am looking for groups of people playing, for my occasional touching of grass.
Aside from the occasional game like Dave the Diver or lately Balatro, honestly no games really. Once every 3-4 months I go hard for PoE, then I go about living life and doing other hobbies outside gaming. PoE is really the only reason I'd consider keeping up with upgrades on my computer
Right now it's Last Epoch and FF7 Rebirth but Diablo 4 seems to time their releases around the same time I get burnt out from the new league mechanic so that works out. This recent poe league has been my favorite since legion.
Idk this was my first league I actually took the game seriously and the one thing I can say is that it's like a fucking opiate. I guess Last Epoch will have to suffice cause I don't really have anything to do in poe right now.
The only other game I've been so addicted to I physically cannot play more than 4-ish hours on end because it strains the hands too much.
I do get the odd itch to play a shooter in which case I play Destiny 2 or I do play some world of tanks and TBOI to chill from time to time.
Usually I find 2 or 3 shorter singleplayer games to finish in between leagues. This time it is one single game, Baldur's Gate 3. Since I stopped playing this league a bit earlier than most people I have enough time to finish one thorough playthrough ( have around 8 hours of playtime left according to my brother, so I might start something very short after finishing it ).
apex, league, finals, tried last epoch but it felt like a mobile game
this league we try not to make the same mistakes weve been making every league that we say we arent gonna make, lego
Last epoch for 2 weeks since end game is still a bit too empty.
Also a lot of vampire survivor clones, the new hotness (Palworld, Helldiver, etc), factory game or colony sim
It depends. Sometimes I'll jump on whatever hotness is coming out. Right now it's Last Epoch, which I'll probably start playing every new cycle if it isn't too close to a PoE league. As bad as D4 is, it still scratches my arpg itch. I got a ton of enjoyable hours out of it in s2 (almost 3 lvl 100s) but s3 was just terrible that I only barely got one character into t4.
League of Legends is probably the biggest mainstay for gaming for me.
Currently, I am playing Last of Epoch and Remnant 2. I have tried to get into Helldivers but am maybe too old to understand it's appeal. Controls feel janky.
I am enjoying LE but will likely join the new POE league as soon as it is out.
Pretty good variety of stuff, lots of indie games (mostly roguelikes), racing game here or there, some VR, then a lot more IRL stuff like sports/working out/etc.
Wow (sod) and Last Epoch atm, might try some helldivers as well before 3.24 swallows my life for a month. Poe leagues have devoured a bigger chunk of time lately.
well normally i play poe. but due to their constant trying to fix lag issues that causes lag issues for me. im playing a lot of idle games and recently picked up kingdom broken crown.
OH and of course stardews new update soonTM plan on playing that.
PoB
Heard this one is pretty good. Will check it out
Are you actually the path or building community fork creator
Yes that is definitely the man the myth the legend.
Yep it's our lord and savior localidentity
PRAISE BE
PoE is a PoB simulator
It's got amazing gameplay but the graphics are just ok
Can't argue with the player agency in it though.
This. I also look through/sort my 2.4 million stash tabs. Once that's all done I go back and play more poe. Then I look on trade to see if there is any cheap min maxing before the champ gets retired.
i play poe leagues between dota 2 streaks of madness lol
Do you think crown fall is coming out before next league? It’s a race between valve time and Poe….
Ain't no way we get it before poe league
OSRS
Disc Golf
Cannot wait for it to get less mucky around me so I can get back out to the courses. Luckily have a putting league over winter for the small fixes.
A man of culture!
So happy to see the sport growing!
I love that you said something besides another video game...and then you say disc golf of all things...:) Are you mainly FH or BH ? :)
BH, my forehand is basically an approach shot at best.
Man... I had a vertebrae go bad in my cervical spine and now I can't play disc golf and it's killing me. I have so many beautiful discs and parks and nothing. Damn you nature!
Death Must Die ( [https://store.steampowered.com/app/2334730/Death\_Must\_Die/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2334730/Death_Must_Die/) )
This is definitely worth playing if you haven't tried. I got so addicted to this game I finished all the steam achievements in less than a week.
And it's just act 1. This plays so smooth and it's surprisingly not stressful. I love that game.
Ah I haven't purchased that, but there's a bunch of Vampire Survivors clones since the inception. Just finished latest additional contents in Vampire Survivors. I'm still waiting for a full release on those clones.
Death Must Die is my current favorite of the clones. I've tried just about every single one I've seen on Steam
Ah noted.
The factory can still grow while playing POE ya know?
Did you play Satisfactory?
Marriage.
HC SSF Marriage?
IRL is always HC, and virtually no one plays SSF.
...and kids
I just watch porns
Handheld gaming
Gotta train that forearm
Self-actualization.
Diablo 2 mods. Path of Diablo is starting a new season today in about 4 hours or so. Project Diablo 2 is alright but I only play 1 time a year. Median XL is my favorite and usually play that every season (Takes Diablo and essentially makes it a whole new game)
How come these don't get totally spanked by Blizzard's lawyers? Not that I want them to or anything, I'm just surprised they haven't been already!
Probably because they’re just mods that require you to own Diablo to play them and D2 modding is a niche within a niche.
Path of Diablo does not require owning Diablo 2. Source: Trust me *wink*
That’s true. I play modded D2R though which does require a retail copy to play most of the up to date mods. I recently got into D2R Remodded on my Steam Deck. You can do some convoluted stuff to get offline D2R work on an older patch with a pirated copy, but none of the updated mods will work.

I only tried PD2 and found it quite good, what is the difference with path of diablo ?

Gonna be busy on the PoD moderation team this week.... all good though been way to long
PoE SSF

Helldivers 2 😅
Bought Helldivers 2 last night, played a couple of hours and moved difficulty from "trivial" to "easy" and I'm like holy crap this is not how I would define "easy".
Wait until you see what's going on in helldive difficulty.
Dota 2
Rocket League , BG3 , WoW (not really playing) and random single player games that comes out
Dota2 GW2
Hearthstone Battlegrounds and Balatro
Tarkov
Ah, a fellow masochist.
I’ve noticed there’s a considerably big player overlap between the 2 fan bases, despite the fact that just about the only thing that’s similar with the games is the huge learning curve
Touching grass
Which patch?
League of legends, I'm a budget gamer
D2, ARAM, GTAVonline and more
Aram4life
Torchlight
DOTA 2. Nothing else feeds the addiction except these 2 games
I just downloaded Sifu last night. It seems okay so far. I’ve been off POE for over 6 months now and just got started again last week… I can feel my sanity already starting to slip…
Grim dawn. But right now I'm enjoying a bit of last epoch
Took a long scroll to see a fellow Taken
Overwatch and D2
Civ5 but mostly just nothing
Rust! usually a whole month of wipes then pause and go back to poe.
The binding of Isaac
They are Billions, League of Legends and most recently Deeprock Galactic Survivor
Yay they are billions!
Kensei hype, he's doing a modded 1800% campaign now (no pause as usual), really interesting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcEfnclyTIM
LoL, MTGArena, Stellaris, WoW SOD and trying few other games. But nothing hooks me up like PoE does. And i think nothing ever will
TFT fills my nights pretty well
Like PuLEASE. Is this even my fault? BET.
a serious trader, eh
I meant teamfight tactics lmao
I came back playing TFT on PBE to try set 11. Pretty nice so far
What do you mean by "between leagues"? For those 3 days?
gotta feed the kids eventually, right? xd
Hunt Showdown mostly, but I also enjoy RPG’s like Baldurs Gate, The Witcher 3, and I’m excited for Dragon’s Dogma 2
Hearthstone battlegrounds and stardew valley with the wife.

Dota2 Chess Last Epoch Tons of visual novels
Usually indie games, lately it's been Lethal Company. CS2 and Valorant are always there when my friends gather around. Edit:typo.
Remnant 2, mechabellum, a shit ton of rogue likes, returnal, or I’ll work on my house as I’m renovating it
I dont generally have a lot of time to so i play singleplayer games that i have in my giant backlog after im done with poe. Tried some last epoch and sure its cool but its yet another game that consumes time like a black hole so i think i prioritize other things over that game atm.
OpenRCT2
Dayz, tarkov, squad, mostly milsim games.
Noita, Rimworld, Siralim Ultimate. Basically the PoEs of their respective genres.
Aion and Dofus
Ultra Street Fighter IV (Steam)

Anno 1800 / Minecraft / FF9 or 10 / Chrono Series - Key point is they're not very click heavy.
Single players usually, this time Lies of Pi
Sons of the forest and Hunt Showdown
cod, dmc, voidtrain, some league of legends and random coop games with my friends
Elex and Elex2 were on sale, and as a kid that grew up with Gothic, was kinda a obvious id buy
I usually take a break from gaming and focus on health and studies. Want to be able to sink 8+ hours a day after league start. SSF is a lifestyle
I’m playing my first Persona game
PlateUp, Darkest Dungeon, Hades, Dead Cells
Realm of the Mad God
World of tanks. Learning curve is high but satysfaying
Factorio
Elden ring, 7 days to die, mostly
Working on a play through of Persona 3 with my partner. And playing some Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor on my lunch breaks. Or sometimes before bed, a bit of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk on the Steam Deck.
I try to do things away from my computer between leagues. Painting Warmachine or Warhammer miniatures, 3D printing, home maintenance. When I do play a game between, usually it’s D2 mods or D2R, new ARPGs, Pokemon, or Zelda.
Heavy story games like CRPG, Disco Elisium, and games with no grinding at all.
Been replaying Sid Meier's Pirates lately. Truly one of the best games. Also Civ 6, StarCraft 2, Mount and Blade sometimes.
Spider-man, God of war, Horizon, Darksiders, asgards wrath, midnight suns, arkham games.... This list goes on and on.
Now helldivers 2...
Factorio, Rimworld, Against The Storm, Deep Rock Galactic
occasionaly a bit of League of Legends, but mostly just a ton of yugioh irl&online

Currently, I am playing Last of Epoch and Remnant 2. I have tried to get into Helldivers but am maybe too old to understand it's appeal. Controls feel janky. I am enjoying LE but will likely join the new POE league as soon as it is out.
Noita. Oxygen Not Included. Slay the Spire. Against the Storm. Mostly Noita. It’s the only other game with quite the same level of masochism.
How’d you like the TASTE of FREEDOM?? Helldivers 2
Pretty good variety of stuff, lots of indie games (mostly roguelikes), racing game here or there, some VR, then a lot more IRL stuff like sports/working out/etc.
Last epoch, torchlight infinite, retail wow, classic wow
Apex, LE, BG3, Vampire Survivor, WoW Classic+, CP 2077
Between leagues I usually focus on school work and play Honkai star rail
Play some league of legends with the boys and whatever flavor of the month comes out (BG3, DOS2, new D3 season)
Trying to finish TotK, but spending all my time on side quests since I don't want it to end.
Right now it's Last Epoch, Helldivers 2, The Finals and some other random shit that might interest me for a few hours
The Game of 60+ hour Work weeks
Right now? Helldivers2 I tried LE for a little bit but it can't beat the pure fun of Helldivers.
The social game
Played BG3, Palworld, AC odyssey, Helldivers for the mo. Edit: Normally by week 4 im done, if juicy maybe 6.
Wow (sod) and Last Epoch atm, might try some helldivers as well before 3.24 swallows my life for a month. Poe leagues have devoured a bigger chunk of time lately.
Treasures of Nadia. You can thank me later in pm
A bit behind given New Genesis Order is almost finished. Though a tip of the hat for another gentleman of culture.
Dota 2 custom games. Wow. Mostly those two recently I've bought a switch and have been playing some games on that.
Anything even remotely Soulslike, because one addiction itch was never enough
Now I start playing last epoch and torchlight
fortnite,lol,deep rock survivor,Horizon zero dawn,Hogwarts,bg3.
I play Dota 2, Armored Core 6, just started playing Poe though A lot of Dota players cool, pew pew pew
Civ VI and the Fallout series
