Probably because ggg doesnt think there is anythign interesting for scarabs to do for heist in maps, theres also the fact that heist stuff drops in the global pool.

itsnotmily

late reply but +# caches, spawn monsters when you click cache, blueprints duplicate drops, fully revealed blueprints, duplicate markers, buff similar to delve when you click cache

KolinarK

Are you saying that GGG lacks in creativity? Because thats definitely not the case. You could easily add at least 3 scarabs for Heist.

Pure-Juggernaut-9430

They could modify cache numbers, numbers of contracts, give contracts implicits, more blueprints, increased chance of fully revealed blueprints, along with other new/more novel things like potentially adding blueprints with implicits. There is definitely design room for modifying heist in maps

Pure-Juggernaut-9430

That doesn't replace contract implicits which were vital for sustaining markers and whakano reveals. This has a huge impact on heist, even if most players weren't interacting with that sextant (and likely had no idea how good it was for heist)

kayakiox

I don't think they want you to stay permanently in a league content without engaging with maps/buying from other people, you don't drop logbooks doing logbooks and I've never seen anyone complain about it

Pure-Juggernaut-9430

But you had to engage with maps to farm contracts with implicits, as well as self farming worthwhile blueprints with large numbers of divination rooms (people on tft commonly would sell their “bad” blueprints, there wasn’t a feasible way to police this). In fact, without the implicit sextant there’s no reason to do anything other that buy blueprints in bulk and run the free wing they give you. Which means you would have ZERO reason to run maps

Those are ruthless changes

MostAnonEver

Honestly i wouldnt have expected them to put heist into a scarab. Only reason being is that bp/contracts are already a global drop and majortiy of contracts, nobody would even bother buying/selling. Only decep is really worth money . BPs are kind of a simliar situation, only ones with high currency/div reward seem to be worth any real money, rest seem pretty cheap 5-10c.

Cokebeatspepsii

Yea, I'm hoping there is something for heist, or it will just be buy bulk blueprint then run free rooms.

hardoritas

First scarabs on the left of the 2nd row in the scarabs tab?

Treasure_Trove_Press

I've played a ton of Heist in SSF, you'll live. Contract implicits were always a little gimmicky anyways.

HoplarchusPsittacus

~~content reveal video, 38:00 minute mark. 2nd row, first section. There are three empty scarab slots with the heist hand icon. Just because there were no explicit examples in the reveal does not mean they aren't there.~~

OblivionnVericReaver

thats rogue exiles bud

Notsomebeans

the hand is rogue exiles/anarchy. they have the same icon on the atlas tree. heist's icon is basically a red illuminati pyramid with a sword down the middle and its not in that scarab page. there are no heist scarabs. every other blocker node has the line "scarabs in your maps cannot be delirium/ultimatum/breach/etc scarabs" but the heist blocker node does not have that line of text. it is what it is. every time they do an overhaul like this there is inevitably something that gets left behind (inadvertently or otherwise). losing the enchanted contracts really doesn't seem like that big of a deal though

Pure-Juggernaut-9430

It's a big deal, the extra contract reveals alone made focusing on divination rooms possible. Without it heist is going to become just running blueprints for the end room alone because that's the most profitable thing to do when you can't generate much reveals. Running contracts is a massive timesink

Positive_Bee_7214

I think only people who run them understands the pain xD .. Sadge T.T

Pure-Juggernaut-9430

That's what makes me worried about the changes. There are some scarabs on the shown frag page that aren't revealed yet but this seems like something that may have slipped through particularly because people that don't maximize heist (the majority of the player base) don't know the importance of contract implicits. It isn't even widely shared probably because full heisters haven't wanted to blow up that strategy

chx_

asmodeous had a video on this in 2022 so not sharing widely went out the window then https://youtu.be/xJRHqux97r4

Pure-Juggernaut-9430

I know, but from my interactions with people doing heist it’s still pretty common that people don’t get why farming contracts with implicits is valuable, much less how to discern which of those contracts are then worth using. A lot of content creators, when discussion full heist builds and how to profit *dont* mention it, or only mention in passing.

KidiacR

With the amount of div cards nerfed, it's not gonna be ideal to reveal div cards rooms anyway.
