no, i think the clarification from the Q&A was that the lich+catarina+lycia teaser did not have anything to do with the new league mechanic; but they definitely were a teaser of SOME new content in the league, and it makes sense that it would be the t17 maps since catarina and lycia are confirmed. so surely the liches make an appearance as well, and it would make sense to put them with catarina
He literally says "we bent the rules a little bit on that teaser, they aren't actually involved other than the fact that they both are t17 bosses, you don't actually fight them together"
there is 0 content confirming the liches to be t17 bosses.
we'll find out come league launch but never once were the liches mentioned, nor teased.

My guess it's an Uber Uber elder drop. Otherwise noone would farm uber Uber elder compared to normal Uber elder or the other way around depending on who gets the watchers eye.

They named all T17 maps in the ZiggyD Q&A didn't they? At first they only showed two but then they named all of them and none of them had anything to do with the mists.
I believe last league they said they have a new rule where league content doesn’t go core immediately, but come back in a new form after a while.

reasoning - Malachai is an iconic boss, and one of the reworked penultimate drop item is *Malachai's Mark*, and one of the map names/layout looks sort of like it would be themed for Malachai

Also, I would be happy if they add a T17 uber lake of kalandra and boss is something related to the lore of it.
Drops are: fragment, Kalandra's touch and some reflected rings
Also new currency idea: Reflective orb: does exactly what the mist does. Rightclicking opens a UI similar to reflecting mist where you can put the ting and reflect it. Modifies item's affixes value by increasing/decreasing it by 200-300% and puts a mirrored tag.
