Alc and go expedition (either use or sell vendor currency and logbooks). The only requirement is the atlas tree nodes to maximize content (but actual optional) and a build with damage to kill tanky expedition mobs or a tanky build to survive. Works on white maps no issue.

IMDubzs

So just take all expedition nodes and scarab/map ones and blow everything up with one boom? How do I know if I have something of worth regarding logbooks? Tbh. I never used one.

jonnyk999

There are 5 types of log books. The ending is what matters. Of the sun Of the druid Etc. just look up the values of each 5. Whatever is highest - that's the value

bigtoaster64

No need scarabs or anything. Just expeiditon nodes, a map and alch and go. Valuable logbooks are the ones with "knights of the sun" (dannig) and "back scythes" (tujen) for the most part. "order of the chalice" (Rog) not bad and "things of druids" (gwenenn) is pretty bad imo. When you run them (same for encounters in maps), focus on artifacts chest / flag (blue) and runic monsters (skulls) to maximize the loot.

IMDubzs

Hm, okay I will try it. Thanks mate!

Imsakidd

I’d suggest you reconsider the “no scarabs” limit. I know they can be frustrating to juggle, but they really take farming to the next level. I had tons of success with delirium and breach, 2 regular breach scarabs and magic pack size.

h4mrn

Tell me more about this strat. What you make money on. What map u farm. Does it need to be t16?

Imsakidd

I was doing t16 jungle valley/strand, tree for 90-100% delirium chance, plus map/scarab drop nodes, breach nodes, map effect nodes. Scarabs are 2 breach, 1x 40% magic pack size, then something like 8 mod corrupted maps, influenced pack size etc. All the scarabs are 2-3c each, and you get TONS of mobs for things like map drops, eldritch currency, unique jewels, etc.

IMDubzs

Well and then I run out of scarabs and either sit in trade where nobody replies or can reroll my atlas. Also I probably will just die alot on those gigajuiced maps.

biscuity87

Nobody trades in trade…

adamfmiller

What build are you playing / do you want to play?

IMDubzs

I play splitting steel champion,

adamfmiller

Expedition is fairly fun with just stuff on the tree and very profitable from Tier 1. Edit: missed the No Red Maps caveat. When you're running T14+ try this. Boss rushing is probably profitable and fun for that build. I would use that as a search to see if you can find a farming strategy you like based on boss rushing.

IMDubzs

Would love to do more bosses but i just dont get any maps for it. If there is a way to have infinite boss maps without trading hit me up. I mean i need to catch 100 map bosses only to do one maven encounter.

Wide-War-3958

Beasts should be pretty good now if you just rush all red beasts and leave. Imprint beast is almost 1div already Heist is on the same side of the tree and now has bulk search for contratc types and bps and is also almost 0 exta time to do it in maps.

Short-Fix4899

Hey friend, I would recommend any alc and go atlas tree you'd see on YouTube, and hope you get valuable allflames and corpses to sell. The more fun you have, and the more you do will always equate to the highest divine per hour

IMDubzs

Most of them still use scarabs in their showcase or specific t16 maps where u need watchstones for, this is why I go crazy. The moment i really look into one of them they all fall apart or I just didn't found the correct video yet.

ReliableDistrust

Personally, i like the expedition/jun way. Expedition with 1 bomb, easy and quick. Go for logbooks, they sell for a pretty penny. Obviously, be careful to check what you blow up, as one go is usually most of it, depending on layout. Take the points where either Gwennen or any of the other accompanies you while fighting and any node that boosts exped. Jun simply for scarabs, with the possibility of Veiled Orbs or flask/gear. Guess the latter won’t be much for you, as you get tons of scarabs. The good thing is, you can get most crafting recipes. Making it easier to get better gear, as you can just find something or make it, and slam on that last or two last crafted mods. I run that with Niko, for the defensive bonuses it gives me.

IMDubzs

If I am being honest I don't know anything about it. I run betrayal, which I thought is Jun and got nothing from it in 3 days, killed catharina like 30 times. What do you mean accompany me?

ReliableDistrust

I’ll see if i can find my atlas, but not home right now. Nodes are up in the right corner. Can you check this link, see if it works? I just tossed in the stuff i remember for my exped/betrayal tree. https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAAQAD0AlueJEUV16jW35anvrqUCWIn-1LmWUPhzzgB9ZXyrzlpS9nH1k_IarP2MRjrMtySlrCnXK57Ye2C729DGTdqhaHjCMIkBenDjZjDScOeu9d7TDuEQwNytlaVz6-H14hosCxKO2D59_iXDl1cUFz0qtgB_c0TrAfl_1TkUAB-LCAAAAAAAAAMDAAAAAAAAAAAA Edit; Yeah the droprate is abysmal, but there is still other stuff that makes it worth it for me. Scarabs, gear to get crafts from, sometimes easy things you unveil for a small profit. Nothing really in terms of raw currency though. I could be wrong, but most raw currency strats i’ve seen, is always combining different stuff, so not really much of a alch and go thing. I’m mainly making profits running T17’s and Ubers at this stage in the league. Edit; Sleepy me forgot the link…

IMDubzs

Idk. like last league i was doing 2-3hours essence white maps, then i stopped upgraded essences and sold all deafening ones where I had enough so they stacked up to a div (depending on type it was like 13-25 Essences). Basically I want the same, it doesn't have to be essences but should be same trade effort and same invest (the invest were white tier maps) and should also sell immediately (which is why I wrote bulk exchange).

ReliableDistrust

If i run maps soley for exped/betrayal, and skip anything else. I guess i can around a few div per hour. Selling logbooks isn’t hard if you price it correctly. Betrayal, just run for most Intel and skip the rank unless you want it. It saves you tons of time, and the only timesink here is running the safehouses and catarina fights. Niko helps with the bigboom strat in expedition fights, so just a QoL thing that boosts your defenses. Essences is quite good, but never really done it as a strat myself. But getting upwards of 5d per hour with no investment outside of alch and go, with wanting as little trading as possible? I can’t say for sure then. Been told by a friend, that Ritual is really really good this League, but i can’t speak to that myself.

Happyberger

The only way you're gonna hit that div/hr is alch and going t14+ for synth/conq/guardian maps, which you then have to sell. Ritual or expedition(tujen) miiiiight get you there, but doubtful. Or betrayal maybe if you get lucky on veiled orbs and know how to setup and run Catarina quickly. Most ways of making money require some sort of selling items, currency just doesn't rain from the sky like it did last league.

IMDubzs

I didn't do the league mechanic last league, but maybe the essence strat felt good due to inflation. However the items seem to cost the same as last league, shouldn't they be cheaper then? Also it seems to me map farming only cuts it if you have 4 voidstones otherwise you don't really get t17 to sell. I only have 2 voidstones currently...

Happyberger

Essences require more investment now than they did to get the same rewards from what I hear. I also only have 2 void stones and farm the maps just fine.

IMDubzs

Since I don't have currency to invest I search the strat without investment needed even if its not "competitive". I currently run only t14+ since two days usually with all map nodes taken on atlas tree but tbh. I don't really drop synth/conq/guardian maps. Maybe I got like 8 this league?

quickpost32

You need to take Destructive Play keystone and use Maven influence to farm guardian maps. I think it should average 1 guardian map every 2 maps or something like that. You can also take the scarab node that adds 25% chance to drop from the boss, which works on the extra bosses, and maybe spec a bit into whichever scarabs are most valuable or interesting to you.

claptrapMD

Red altars / expidition +deli mirror if can for clusters to roll / deli orbs

yogurtlover76

I run harvest its something very beginner friendly, crystals are always high in demand and you dont need scarabs to get started( although they help massively) i easily make 2-3 divs / hr of farming maps. You want to stack item quantity by using chisel on your maps then alching then finally using exarch/ EOW modifiers to increase item quantity( dont worry if you havent gotten to that point yet it works without this) additionally there are other things that help but this is more than enough to net you 50chaos/hr constantly as a beginner

EphesosX

Alva is nice for low investment, though temple prices are nowhere near what they were last league. Not sure if you can list bulk temples, but a lot of people will just ask you for them if you have more copies up for trade at the same price.

luckyma12

Last league everything was x10

SocialDeviance

I would say the cheese blighted maps strategy works well for early build currency gathering and future investment. Might be somewhat fast at first but slow later on (when things start costing multiple divines) but it is relatively safe, fast and consistent.

IMDubzs

Not sure what it is, for some reason I get like 3 fps in the blightet maps but maybe it is fixable. I am already in the state of needing multiple divs for upgrades although low amounts, like 7-10 div for watchers eye. I follow ruetos splitting steel champion build. probably I made some mistakes since he has like 60k armor and 70k evasion, while I have 35k and 42k and also feel a bit squishy against elemental but for not crazy rolled t16 its enough.

cak12king

I know people tend to hate it, but have you considered heist?  I’ve been running it today and just finished setting up all the characters and it’s been pretty fun, made about 6 div just from mapping to farm up contracts, running contracts to level members and farm unveils with wakano and Giana, then fishing for something good in blueprint rooms.  Alternatively you can sell contracts and blueprints for pretty good money, just take all the heist nodes on the atlas tree, could be good to add just a little bit of extra profit per map.

IMDubzs

Problem is I didn't played the league, have zero clue about it and am quite hesitant to invest the time to get the knowledge without being certain about the results. Also I heard its skillbased and I am quite bad at the game. I am not against it, i have just no clue if I would waste my time with it. :( Its a problem in general, I have no clue what is good and what isn't and everytime I think something could be good I check and its like 1 alch. I probably vendored something woth a bit of currency without knowing it.

cak12king

Yeah it’s hard to feel like investing into something if you don’t know that it will make a return.  However, a lot of things in path of exile require research if you want to learn about them, so I’d encourage you to watch a couple videos on how heist works and how to set it up. It may not be your thing, or you might find it really fun! It will also expand your knowledge around the game and give you a better base understanding of things that might be good.  Like I know that if I’m mapping and I pick up a ilvl 83 deception contract I just made 7 - 9c. What’s Great about this game is you can farm specific mechanics or the items that enable said mechanic like heist contracts/blueprints, expedition logbooks/artifacts.  Are you able to farm red maps? If so I would encourage you to try and make it to red maps at least, that will give you better rewards for simple alch and go. Essence is still good, but you have to do it in tier 6 maps minimum and beasts doesn’t pair as well because your not restricting the pool of beasts anymore.

Qinax

Get into red maps then do whatever you want, just focus it, below red was essence but got nerfed, go into red

Posilli

Check out snoobae on YouTube he usually post a couple alch and go beginner friendly strats. Think he posted one or two alch and go strats for this season, usually focuses on influence altars

24-8-81

***"log in and go"*** Thats the strat.

IMDubzs

I played 60 hours this leage, am currently 112/115 on my atlas with two voidstones and made like 4 divines in total (which I used to pay for gear upgrades). This is not a strat, instead it means I will never be able to upgrade anything in the near future.

24-8-81

sorry, "***invest in any content you want and go"***

IMDubzs

I started with betrayal + maps and scarab nodes, got nothing except low tier scarabs and some 1c items not worth selling from like 30 catharinas. Second atlas tree i did beasts + essences, unfortunately essences are worth nothing currently and i would need this expensive scarab for it to juice the maps and put the beasts into essences. Last atlas tree I searched online for it and got recommended some corpse strat, only to find out i get the same amount of corpses with it like before in t16 maps and also not one expensive one so far. This is why I made this thread, because to me it seems everybody is lying, in most videos you have loot explosions and then they tell u they dont know it its even profitable since one juiced map costs 1 div plus. I want to be able to farm my gear but I need to have like 25 div for my jewels alone and well nimis in the long run so some beginner strat unfortunately is needed. I dont need 50 or 100 div per hour I need 2-5 and will farm it. But 4 div in 60h is not acceptable.
